Super consistent, wonderful food, extraordinary noodles! Best Thai food in California, hands down.

First time here. It is in a small strip mall with parking out front. The gentleman who waited on us was very nice and attentive. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao with soft tofu and it was some of the best I have ever tasted. It was a little sweet but not too sweet. The veggies were well cooked, like I like them, with that roasted flavor. My husband had the yellow curry with tofu and sticky rice. He was very happy with his, as well. We had such a great time here! We tried the papaya salad and the duck pad thai, and both were fantastic. The papaya salad was super fresh and had that perfect mix of tangy and spicy, while the duck pad thai was rich, flavorful, and really satisfying. What really stood out, though, was the atmosphere. The owner, Robert, actually sat down at the piano and played for everyone--he's so talented! It gave the whole meal this really cozy, special vibe you don't usually get at a restaurant. First time ever in Cameron Park, so finding spots wasn't too easy. This was essentially the first Thai food restaurant I saw for a brief lunch, and I wasn't disappointed (for the most part). The ambience is relaxed, service was very fast and friendly (I believe the owner was waiting and he seemed very kind), and the food was pretty good. I had the red curry - the veggies seemed fresh and the beef was good though it did seem a bit on the older side (tbh). It still all came together quite well. I have been living in Cameron Park and the first time I tried the Cameron park curry with the pumpkin curry sauce (red peanut curry) and it was very yummy and the service was really nice. OK, if you were looking for the best Thai food i in Sacramento you got to try patio in Cameron Park. Their food is some of the fresh Thai food I've ever had in my entire life. The pineapple fried rice is amazing. They're spring rolls. Shrimp spring rolls are so yummy. I'm pretty much a creature of habit when it comes to Thai food, and I usually get Pat Thai, or fried rice and I will drive 30 minutes or an hour round-trip to go to Thai house in Cameron Park because the food is just so delicious. We tried this place for the first time and what a gem in Cameron Park! I can't wait to come back!! Everything we tried had awesome flavor profile and unique. Especially the pineapple rice and Thai coconut soup. Those were our favorite dishes. The Basil chicken dish was a bit spicy for me even though it only had one it was too much for me. My husband who prefers spicy loved it!! Owner Robert was friendly and greeted our table right away. He seems to be well known and I can see why people keep coming back. Def recommend this place! We absolutely LOVE Thai House. Anytime we want to get take out or go out for dinner, we regularly choose here. It is one of our favorite spots! The Pad Thai is to die for, and the pumpkin curry is so incredibly flavorful. We also absolutely love the crab rangoons with the mustard sauce! My first time here with my husband, who has dined here a couple times before. I crave Thai food often and we were in the area so we stopped, especially after I scanned over the reviews here. The owner (I assume), was super friendly and greeted us. We were the only patrons at the time, but I could hear lots of food orders going on over the phone for takeout. Good sign! The inside is super clean and decorated very nice! The menu was vast and it was hard to decide, so we got fried Panko shrimp (big, juicy cooked to perfection) and my usual faves of pineapple rice and chicken and shrimp pad Thai. I have to say they were perfectly executed in their flavor profiles and HUGE portions! Our meal was so delicious, I had to get seconds! Lol! Thai House sits in a business park directly across the street from the Cameron Park airport. There is ample parking in the parking lot so bring the bug rigs! Upon seating I was able to order a refreshing Singha Beer and it was large. Not a bad deal for $7.50. After ordering our food we were served a small salad with a Thai peanut dressing. I always enjoy them. We were able to order our food family style so i got to try thrice the food! Here's my review if the food. Tom Yum Soup with shrimp - 8 - The large soup served about 6 bowls so it's a good value. Lots of vegetables and a tasty broth that is slightly spicy and VERY sweet so be warned! My only complaint was that there was a slight fishy flavor to the shrimp but some of them weren't fishy so perhaps only a batch was mishandled. I would recommend the chicken or pork. Red Curry with Pork - 8 - Good spice level but it's a little more bland than expected. Bamboo shoots were the best I've had at a Thai restaurant. There was ample rice served alongside the dish so it was quite filling. Thai Basil - 9 - Not overly sweet and has punches of spice. This was absolutely loaded with lean chicken and good bits of bell pepper and basil. Not the best Thai Basil I've had but this was VERY good. Throughout our meal our water was refilled and we were checked on numerous times by 3 separate people. For some reason I got heartburn immediately after our meal which never happens mid-day. Strange Amazing and friendly customer service along with impressive Thai food makes this a great stop if you're in Cameron Park. read more

We drove over 2 hours from Walnut Creek to pick up a pet and on our way home, it was almost dinner time. We wanted some Asian food and searched Yelp for recommendations. This place was rated 4.5 stars and decided to give it a try. We were so glad we did! We had one of the best Thai cuisine in a while! Their chicken wings were soo crispy and tasty that I'm still drooling over them. Their yellow chicken curry was one of the best we've had, even their tofu curry was excellent! I'm not into chicken satay but theirs were very good that the young ones consumed most of them even before the rice came. Service is very accommodating and prompt. Portions are generous, our leftover food was packed neatly and thoughtfully. The place is clean, well decorated, with plenty of parking outside. Hubby and I decided to go to the Thai House on Monday night. It was also Juneteenth and they were open. The waitress seated us away from the front entrance and I mentioned that I wouldn't be able to read the specials which were on a standing chalk board by the entrance, so she went and got it and brought it to our table! It was almost as big as her! Amazing! We ordered the Spring Rolls, Pineapple rice and Special Pad Tai. It was all marvelous! After a long day of wine tasting my friend was craving Thai food so we were happy to hit Thai House on the way home in Cameron Park. It's in a strip mall just across the street from the Cameron Park airport, with plenty of parking. The interior is friendly and inviting with lots of Thai decor. Our waitress was great and answered all our questions, and our food was absolutely delicious. The curries were right on point, just the right amount of spiciness. It's been a long time since I had bomb (great) Thai food. This is my new fave Thai spot! Sucks it's so far from home in the Bay Area. It was only 1.7 miles from our job site. Upon ordering, I had the option to get a spice level of 1-5. I originally wanted 4 but the waiter said, "Are you sure? This is the real deal." I then picked 3 and it did not disappoint. It was spicy enough to not overpower the food and still had a lingering heat. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal! Also, I was the first customer as they opened, and within 10 minutes, several patrons walked in and others picked up orders. I then checked the rating on Yelp and saw that it had a well-deserved 5-star rating. I might just eat here again tomorrow. Lol read more

Why have we waited so long to try this wonderful Thai restaurant? Pulled up to strip center and the parking was jammed. Is everyone inside? Well... of course because of the great food and service. Tucked in across from Cameron Park airport. They have an outdoor patio which would be great in warmer weather. Walked in and warmly greeted. All tables but one were taken. And large groups. My feel is a lot of regulars based on the great food. It has a piano inside. Didn't hear it played. We saw several specials mainly curry. The menu has a variety of pad thai, veggies, curry, fish, seafood and appetizers. They have beer n wine. The owner Robert is really on top of things. MBWA. Management by walking around. Asking, looking, chatting because he cares! That's probably the main ingredient to this restaurants success. The servers carefully bring our food and refill water and tea. The food: Fresh spring rolls perfectly tight. Nicely filled and nice shrimp. The wrapper had that great chew. The sauces were excellent. Not watered down. Real, fresh and nicely presented. I went with the unique Pumpkin curry with chicken. Let's say I'm still full this morning. The flavors were fab. Not over powering a bit of a kick with spice. Red n green sliced peppers, nice amount of protein and chunks of a squash called Kombucha (sp). I layed spoonfuls across my rice and slowly savored every bite. Our second dish was the house special pad thai. The glass noodles texture was fab. Crushed peanut, sprouts, shrimp and chicken. Perfect, filling, bold flavor. We had tea but they do have nice selection of wine n beers. Robert brought over a couple oatmeal cookies.. store bought but perfect to dip in tea. It has a quiet atmosphere with occasional piano which was pleasant. The service was fine, I had a glass of red wine and there was some on the bottom of the glass which fortunately dripped on the table and not in my lap.
