I absolutely love this place. I'll keep it short and sweet. Even if I lived somewhere else I would travel here for Thai food. They have the best sticky rice (so simple, but so good). Cozy place and great food!!! Soft jazz music - amazing ambiance! Comfortable and well spaced plenty of room and room for large parties. Looks like you would probably have a quiet space to yourself if you wanted to have kids here. When we came, we would have the place to ourselves. Open door fresh air. Lots of live plants I love it. Really nice guy running the place. Friendly attentive, but not hovering there is a TV here riding off in the distance and it has cooking shows running on it which is fun but no sound I think but nice to watch. The music writing in here is nice. The decor in here is lovely and authentic looking. It's very clean in here. They have high chairs for small children, unique table settings. Crab Rangoons - wow! Taste homemade fresh! These are made how they're supposed to be made with an emphasis on crab and the crisp phyllo dough perfect crispy, crunchy light and airy compliments the appetizer- they're not super greasy they're clean and it really honors the crab. It's not overwhelmingly cream cheese and the sweet-and-sour sauce is amazing. It's not like that red heavily syrup sauce. It's a lighter sauce like honey almost? Left me wanting more. Khao soi (curry chicken mild) Amazing flavor profile! I have to admit I was not expecting a giant drumstick in my meal, but that's because the other place I went always had chopped chicken in there and I gotta tell you it was refreshing because it was really fresh and tasty. I just wasn't used to deconstructing my own chicken so I'm weird like that I guess but it was really good. I probably would've liked more vegetables in it, but the taste is just divine. There's some carrot and onion in there a little bit of pepperoncini too! Yummy! I ordered a mild because I'm a wimp! It's a curry style dish. It has these amazing noodles on them. They are crunchy on the top and they get soggy on the bottom and that texture difference is just amazing. Give it a try. Pad See Ew (beef) Big flat noodles, kind of a sweet dish, no spiciness here so if you're worried about anything being spicy, this is a good dish for you. Kind of savory and sweet very tasty very filling. The broccoli was to die for it was cooked perfectly. Green Curry (chicken) Medium-A true medium the head builds and is tasty. Saucy without being thick, a good thin consistency. Fair amount of chicken. Veggies lots of them,, eggplant, carrot, bamboo shoots, onion and green beans. Added some jasmine rice for perfection. I was excited to try this Thai restaurant since it had very good reviews. I'm a THAI foodie and worked in a few Thai restaurants in the past so I am familiar with Thai flavors. This restaurant is Americanized. The Good news, there's plenty of parking in the shopping area. The ambience is very cute with Thai decorations. Service was fast. Their Thai tea was very good and a great start. The Bad news... we started off with their Tom Kho soup. It lacked flavor and I didn't see any Thai herbs: like lemongrass, kaffir leaves or galanga. The soup was mostly broth. It lacked the coconut milk. Next, we ordered their Spicy Green Beans with Beef. OMG, their beef was extremely chewy and thick slices. It was not tender at all. It was the worst beef ever! However, the green beans and carrots with the sauce were good. Their Massaman Curry had a weird flavor and too sweet. It tasted like Indian curry verses Thai. I will not be back. I used to be a server so I am super nice and grateful when I get to go to a restaurant. I don't like to give bad reviews but I won't return to this place because the server did not say one word to us. That is unacceptable and super disappointing. Hard to know what someone is going through but there is no excuse for being ride. Also portions were small for the price. The food was ok but the service was not. We were a party of 9 late on a Sunday looking for Thai for dinner. This was my first time coming over with my family as a only come over when I can visit, but when my family member told me this place is the spot to try I was so ready for what was in store. My dish was so creamy, tasty and for the size of the group, we did not have to hound for more water or drinks. The service was amazing and the food was even better. Please ignore the fact that the red curry bowl is half empty, it was just so amazing we forgot to take a photo before eating. Also please try the fresh shrimp rolls - super flavorful. Overall, this is a really great spot, a lot of spaces in this shipping center have a quick turn over but with the service it looks like it will be here for years to come! Came back for a second time. It's been years just because we have other Thai options closer to us. Food was fantastic. I feel like they have more of an authentic feel than other places. The wings and curry puffs (does not look like other curry puffs) were delicious. BD is picky about his larb. He says this is the best larb he's ever had. And I'm Thai. So that says a lot! His last visit here had too much fish sauce taste. This was bright and had the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Yellow curry was fantastic. They don't skimp on that yellow curry taste. I remember their pineapple fried rice used to be heavy on the yellow curry powder too which I loved. Sadly they don't offer it anymore. My pad kee mao was the only one I wished tasted better. I asked for it Thai hot. They are the only place who got it right. Hella spicy! But once the spice subsided, there wasn't much garlic basil salt taste that I like with pad kee mao. It would've be bland if I wasn't fighting for my life with the chilis. Next time I'll just add for more garlic and basil. We will come back!! read more

He came And gave us our bill and walked away. I called after him to see if so could have a glass of water. He kept walking. So weird. Not like they had a packed restaurant. Literally we were the only people in an empty room for an hour. Prices a little high. No liquor license. We were so disappointed they failed to serve us adequately. my cousin and I wanted to try somewhere new in town for dinner and decided to give Thai Rice a try--this place knocked my socks off! we were seated right away and there weren't too many other people in there--the tables were nicely decorated and the atmosphere was peaceful. We got the pumpkin curry (AMAZING), pad thai, and papaya salad, all of which were really good. They even were accommodating of our dietary restrictions for a few of the dishes. This is becoming my favorite Thai restaurant in the Folsom, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs area. My wife and I like to stop here on the way back from Tahoe, Apple Hill, or Redhawk. We try to time our travel so that we can have dinner here before heading home to the Bay. Larb Duck Salad is now my favorite salad here - it is tangy, salty, crunchy, with nice chunks of boneless roasted duck. I could eat this by myself but I have to share with the wife. Darn it! She likes the Pork with Eggplant which comes with steamed white rice. To close off the dinner, we like the crunchiness of Fried Coconut-Pineapple Ice Cream with whip cream, and a honey drizzle. To say I was blown away with the flavor, spices and texture is an understatement. Me and my husband did a to go order via online, which was easy and convenient as well as the website was amazing. The gentlemen who brought my order was very kind, and the restaurant itself was beautiful. Definitely a perfect place for a date night, as the lighting and ambiance was very romantic and inviting. We got the pad kee mao, garlic green beans, fresh roll with shrimp, and the grilled beef salad. All dishes I haven't tried yet. The food was hot and fresh by the time we got home, and the levels of flavor were outstanding. Perfect balances of spicy, sweet, and flavorful. For someone like me who is not big on what I call "exotic food" I do enjoy this restaurant. I have a ZERO tolerance for spicy food, but every single item on their menu can be made without spice - yay for me! They have a very extensive menu with lots of delicious sounding options. I have only eaten here a few times, but each time was wonderfu!! I recommend the Thai pineapple fried rice or the pad Thai noodle. The staff is very attentive and friendly and the food serving sizes are big - bring your appetite!! I really like the flavor in the pad Thai noodle dish. The wonton soup was delicately flavored with a shrimp, chicken and vegetable broth and pork wontons. The Pad Gai Krapow (Basil Chicken stir fry) was deliciously spicy, the chicken perfectly cooked--everything was really, really good. Friendly, attentive service.
