Definitely a hole in the wall restaurant. If your not looking for it you won't find it, but if you go you'll be glad you did. The whole experience was really good. Place was clean and employees were kind. Food was out hot and quick. I got just one of the #24 and with tax it was $7.94 my buddy got the same and it was $11.52 with a drink. Always nice to support a local business and even better when the food is great My only complaint is that the Indoor seating area was closed/blocked off which was a little disappointing. I'm not sure if that's a "Covid" or "health" restriction they put into place. When waiting there's on 4 chairs spread far apart, so if you have kids or it's a little busy you'll most likely have to stand. All and all I'd rate the whole experience as a 4/5 stars. I'd go again but it's not something I'd eat everyday

We were on the hunt for a mom and pop type place to grab some Chinese food and found this place on yelp. I always scroll to read all the bad reviews first to see if they have something in common. This one definitely had some bad reviews about the customer service but also had good reviews about the food. We arrived at the spot , And we were greeted right away by a sweet lady who offered her help right away . She did not rush us or pressure us to order . We looked over the menu and picked our food , orange chicken and kung pao chicken. We gave our order to the lady and she took it down and charged us correctly. She didn't try to rudely up sell us on anything , she did ask if we wanted egg rolls. Of course we said yes and don't regret it. She does speak a little fast but clearly that is due to her accent and not at all her trying to be like a car sales person and be shady. Customer service was superb and our food was made fresh and fast. We were in and out within 10min and our bill was under $20 . We thoroughly enjoyed our food and can't wait to go back. I believe the bad reviews are do to bad customers and their lack of manners, respect and patience.

Average food and average service. It's cheap for a reason but the value is there. This is an mediocre spot if you have to have Chinese food.

We needed a different vibe, so yes.. so excited for Mongolian BBQ. My first time there, I wasn't sure what to do, there was no one at the counter so I had to flag someone to come help. The guy there seems like he didn't want to be there, so I kinda felt unwelcome. I got the regular bowl, and he asked for sauce preference... I also tried their seafood boil. You pick 2 seafood and it comes with rice, 1 corn and 1 potato. No different sauce, just spice level. After paying, walk towards the toppings and stack your bowl. Meats, veggies whatever your heart desires. All meats looked broken up, and all items were very low. Nothing was filled. After you finish piling the bowl with whatever toppings they have...the guy at the end will cook it, and Toss in the noodles or rice if you prefer. After a few minutes, foods done. Let's eat. So my first bite of the noodles was bland, just salty. I had to add in some sriracha for flavor. Then onto the seafood boil. First bite, omg so salty. Tired the rice. So dry. I got the shrimp n mussels. Both are so overcooked. The only item edible was the potato since I peeled the skin. Had to Toss the rest away. So disappointed

The beef and pork are soaking in that flavor, fresh veggies, you can make your own sauce with extra on the side, and the heated plate gives it a nice almost char flavor without the smoke. Pair that with the seating at the Annex or grabbing a table with Bottle & Pint and that's the best of both worlds. The price may seem like a lot but the regular bowl if you stack it high could easily be 2 meals, I usually opt for the noodles and stacking on veggies you know don't tend to wilt when they're cooked to maximize volume, but I'm glad they reopened after their quick hiatus!

Staff friendly, clean restaurant. Who doesn't love AYCE hotpot? My only con is the pots used to cook your items arent very fast. The fire will die and youll need an employee to start it up. Id be cautious of ordering chicken or youll sit there for at least 10 minutes making sure its cooked all the way. If tasty pot can fix this, I think it'll improve the overall experience. I still love the overall experience and will be back multiple times this year. Side note - People used to 626 or OC ayce hot pot may be a little disappointed (no free drinks or hot food bar).

There were a couple couples that look like they're on dates. Service is really good here. And we ordered all the food we wanted to try. It seems like they tried to limit the chances of the cyclospora parasite since no one has a definite source yet (Mongolian beef usually has raw green onions but they subbed wok fired yellow onions). But some stuff they kept the cilantro and green onions (bc they were cold dishes) The pan fried dumpling would have been good if it didn't have so much Ginger.. I'm not too into Ginger but the dumpling was nice because it had the juice inside of it and the texture was nice The refreshing woodear is a cold dish that has a chewy/crunchy texture. The soy sauce/vinegar flavor makes it refreshing when the other foods get heavy. Spicy beef slices were not that bad, but I prefer more of the spicy szechuan flavor (numbing/tingly feeling). The cilantro and green onions also provided good flavor The beef and onion pancake reminded me of mushu beef, it had the same wrap, hoision sauce flavor with meat and veggies-green onions. It also had good amount of meat Hunan beef was ok but wife enjoyed it. Wife's cooking prepared me for the peppers...is it a jalapeno or a green pepper...Russian roulette if you can't handle spicy. The Mongolian beef had reg onions instead of the green onions. Lots of onions..but I can't be mad bc the onions had the wok fire flavor, which I enjoy and not many places do it. The spicy eggplant with hot garlic sauce had lots of woodears, the eggplant was a little more on the sweet side, and the eggplant had a little bit of a crispyness to it. The salt and pepper shrimp almost reminded me of fried cake batter. It had some sweetness to it so it confused me cuz I was expecting something savory. At the end of the meal we had our fortune cookie, which seemed like it was more of an ad than a fortune.. sneaky Fortune Cookie company. Overall this place was pretty good and worth trying, especially since they have great service
