I have ordered the vermicelli bowl several times and it always is sooo delicious whether sit down or pick up order. The crab ragoons and spring rolls are amazing! The waitresses are always so kind. Definitely give them a try if you're are looking for a flavorful meal!

I had the opportunity to try the sushi since my last visit. My wife and daughter had a couple of rolls each and I had sashimi. The others both reported that they liked their rolls, they must have been good because there were no pieces left for me to try. I thought the sashimi was good...no complaints about the quality or freshness. I however would have liked fewer different types of fish and more of each type included. The presentation of the sashimi and the rolls was quite fancy.

We've been wanting to try this place for awhile, and we finally stopped in. The inside is really cute, and spacious. We got the #5 pho and the bowl is ginormous! The broth was really good, and the veggies were fresh. The staff were really nice, and quick to get our drinks and let us order. I will say I'm dropping a star because of how disappointed I was to see they use styrofoam containers :(

May 1st order (4/5) Well I have to say I'm not sure about this place yet. We've order food twice from here the first time I had a tuna plate and roll of white tuna and jalapeño. Was lovely and fresh 5/5. My husband had the beef bun and he said it was fresh and flavorful 4/5. May 4th order (2/5) Today was a crazy night for the family and our experience was so good before but tonight it was so disappointed with what arrived. I ordered the fresh rolls they were completed busted and I only received shrimp either the menu is misleading and just comes across your suppose to get 2 chicken and 2 shrimp or I was missing two rolls. I also had the chicken skewers and only got five and they were so over cooked. So good thing the peanut sauce came with the rolls because the chicken needed it. My husband had gyoza 5/5 light tempura batter flavorful gyoza sauce. He had the meatball pho he said it was good 3/5

Lovely as always. Great service, great food. Please give this place a try. I believe I had the pink lady and eel something, both from the chef's special rolls.

Jolly Good Show!! When I stepped into this amazing place, I was met with a very kind woman who was there with me and my family over and beyond. We were met with a smashing decore, with a nice shade of green wall, and beautiful golden statues sitting on their counters. We sat down and ordered mouth watering food, different elegant dishes for everyone. To focus mostly on my dish, I got myself a good plate of Beef Fried Rice, and I must give my sincere thanks to the chef with this interesting take on the shape of the rice that was on my plate. The taste of the food was so cracking that I couldn't stop myself from eating and wanting more of it. Oh the buzzing glee, absolutely marvelous!! All in all an amazing experience that we most definitely recommend to you fine people reading. PHO, you are going places, let me tell you. Jolly Amazing Show!!!

I paid $30 for a chicken wing and fried rice combo it came in one tiny container with old fried rice. I expected wonderful container of chicken wings and wonderful container of fried rice. The fried rice also wasn't fresh. Very disappointing. I bought this as a dinner for me and my son

Nice menu options of teriyaki, Chinese and sushi. Lunch specials M-F 11-2. We wanted to try the teriyaki & sushi so we got one lunch combo chicken & beef teriyaki, and extra side salad, a tempura fried sushi roll, 2 specialty rolls, and beverages. Food came out fast, fresh looking and delicious. The teriyaki meats were cooked perfectly, moist, tender, char flavor and a tasty sauce that was the right amount of savory and sweet. Loved that they add grilled green & white onions to it. Good rice and salad dressing too. The tempura roll ( "Seattle Crunch") was good, glad the rolls were decent size as they add up real fast at an average of $15-20 each for specialties. The favorite was the "Julie" of the 3, then the "Mana" but no complaints about any but might mention there was jalapeno in the Mana although not mentioned in description. We ended up taking half of everything but the salad/rice home ( we finished that off there) so it was nice having that for our dinner. We ordered too much, hence the $92 bill!! But we will become regulars trying new things for a while to know the menu. Happy campers!

I expected more since there were plenty of good reviews, but I think we should've spent some more time searching. For context, we wanted a good sushi dinner - willing to spend a little more on special rolls, etc. I would maybe consider this spot again if you were to just come for some appetizers or regular rolls, but don't come here expecting phenomenal sushi. We got the pork belly lettuce wraps and the sweet coconut shrimp. The lettuce wraps were a highlight/our favorite and honestly I would come back for just these. The coconut shrimp was OK, but not anything to write home about. For sushi, we got the Black Widow and X-File special rolls, the chu-toro sashimi, and one yamagobo maki. The most expensive part, the chu-toro, was not as good as I'd expect it to be for the price point. I've had much better (cheaper) toro so this was the biggest let-down. The special rolls were good, but again, not great. I definitely favored the Black Widow roll, as the soft-shell crab was very yummy. Service was also lacking a bit. It was not busy but our waiter wasn't super attentive. Waters sat empty for a while at one point, and in general it just took a while in between visits.

But now they've moved to some new secret location and they're never open. I'm a businessman and I'd like to make money, and I want to be successful. So I'm confused as to why Cafe Kai is never open anymore? Don't they want to be successful in making a profit? You would think that if you move to a new location, you'd want people to find where you are located, and you'd want to be open long enough to sell some product. Cafe Kai's food is very good but their location is terrible and their hours are horrendous. I certainly hope the owners at Café Kai will read this review and maybe they'll pull the heads out of their rear end and stay open longer and perhaps make a couple of signs showing the secret hideout where they have moved. We hope they will change course stay open longer so that we can find them. OK guys ball balls in your court.

The 'new' owners have put their own spin on the dishes and a have fashioned a great place of their own. I think at some point they could even change the restaurant name to make it wholly theirs. The server who seated us was very friendly and put us at ease. She brought our menus very quickly and gave us more than adequate time to decide on our dishes. Well, I was the one who needed the time; my wife and son had seen the online menu and already knew what they wanted. We chose the Crab Rangoon, Fried Calamari, and Pork-Fried Rice (#1 spice) to share. The appetizers were brought quickly and were delightfully hot. The only glitch in the service here was when our server took away the empty dish with the sweet garlic dipping sauce still in the bowl. We still had uneaten Crab Rangoon on our plates. We should've told her to leave the dipping sauce but were too surprised to speak out. Note to us to speak out and a note to the server to ask before removing food or sauces from a table. Our entrees were brought out one at a time and the fried rice was brought out about the same time. I chose the Garlic Delight with Beef (#4 spice) , my wife chose Pad See Ew with Pork (#1 spice) and our son chose Pad See Ew with Beef (#4 spice). My dish was very good with just the right amount of heat for me. Our son is impervious to most hot spices but still liked his dish, and my wife also liked her dish with a hint of spice. I asked our server what type of meat was in my dish and the cook told her it was ribeye. That impressed me since most Asian restaurants used flank steak. The only criticism I had of the dish was that the ribeye should've been seared for extra flavor and texture, but it was still very good. We also noticed that the Pad See Ew was made with rice ribbon noodles instead of the traditional pad see ew noodles (which can be a bear to work with). Not sure why the restaurant made the substitution but I didn't ask about it. The servings here are impressive with an abundance of meat along with veggies and noodles. My wife and I also enjoyed Thai Iced Tea. So, delicious food, a delightful server who brought our food quickly which all made for a great wedding anniversary dinner.
