5star! What a delight! I was heading down I-20 taking a load of produce to Mississippi when I developed a wish for sushi. Google gave me this little wonder and I called in a sushi/sashimi lunch combo ($13.99). Imagine my delight when I arrived just a few minutes off the interstate to a insanely charming renovated old Victorian with wrap around porch seating under a couple magnolias. Lovely interior. Just a fantastic experience. Now I didn't have any Thai food. I wish I had. I wish I lived near by. I would eat until belly burst. I did instead take my sushi/sashimi combo and break it open on the porch in the March Spring Georgia weather. Perfectly tasty roll and nigiri and little sashimi bites. I usually order DoorDash from this restaurant a few times a week if I'm too busy to cook. I can honestly say the food is always pretty good when I receive it. My favorite orders are the House Fried Rice or the Pad Thai (Thai spicy), it is always as good as it is spicy. I also enjoy the Thai Palace is one of the ONLY Thai restaurants in the area that delivers locally. It is so convenient for me to utilize a delivery service to bring the food to me when I'm stuck working from home. read more

I love this place! I will never skip coming here whenever I am in Georgia! Jimmy, the owner is one of the friendliest most welcoming people I have ever met! Veg friendly as they will substitute tofu for meat in any dish! Best pad Thai I have ever had. Curries are always on point! Lunch specials are cheap af! Cute little quaint home turned into a restaurant. This restaurant has so much charm and is located in the city of Old Conyers. When you first walk in you walk into the converted home turned restaurant what is filled with Asian art and fixtures. I placed my order to go on this visit and since the food is made to order, had to wait about 20-25 minutes for the food to be made. I ordered a ginger and onion entree with shrimp, which was served with white rice, and spring roll that came with the entree, crunchy roll and fried cheesecake. The ginger and onion was pretty small. Looked like a lunch portion. Was hoping to get a little more vegetables however the food had food flavor. The crunchy roll was $12.99 and came with six small rolls. I have had a much larger portion at other Thai restaurants, so for the price it was a little disappointing. The spring roll that was served wIth the entree was fresh and crispy. I enjoyed it. The fried cheesecake wasn't as crunchy as I would prefer. It had almost a dough-like exterior. It was ok. Overall the food was tasty but the portions were small for the amount. read more

I usually get either fried rice or Pad thai. Lunch menu comes with either coconut soup or spring roll. I always pick coconut soup because their coconut soup is so good. If you order pad thai, it has chicken and shrimp. So if you want either shrimp or chicken, you should let your server know. You can either come in using the front door or backdoor - coming in through backdoor is a bit strange because you need to walk pass the kitchen area. Outside of the restaurant is pretty - they decorated it with flower pots. Outside seating is nice especially when weather is really nice. It is not super expensive or cheap. I think it is decent price for the food that you get. read more

I loveee this place. This restaurant is located in Olde Towne Conyers. A friend and I was walking one night when we strolled by and decided to order a fried sushi roll. It was so good. My office has ordered from here a few times, and every time I've had their food I have not liked what I ordered. But since we order as a group I continued to pick something new each time in hopes of finding something good. I didn't know how I would feel about ordering raw fish from a place in Conyers, so I ordered from their "cooked rolls" menu. I ordered the crunchy roll, and when I ate a piece realized that the tuna was NOT GOOD ! I sent it back and asked for a replacement and they told me that if I wanted a replacement that I would have to pay for it !!!! I WILL NEVER go there EVER again ! ... and my office agrees and will not order from there any more . read more

The quality of service and speed of service we received was 5/5. We had 50 minutes from the time we walked in until the time we needed to be back in our car. The young female who served us was on it and got us out the door early. We ordered two vegetable rolls. The avocado roll wasn't remarkable but also not bad. The second was a veggie combo that really was delicious and packed with flavor. Our egg roll was grainy and a bit soggy. Trying out the pad see ew left us full but not awed. The flavor felt a bit flat and the noodles were a touch dry. The building itself was precious and appeared very clean. I'd try it out again if I were ever in the area. read more

Thanks to Yelp found this place on a one night stop while traveling. Luckily open until 10 on Fridays. We arrived at 9:30 and everyone was nice. Service was fast, food was very good, served hot. Prices are very reasonable. Without drinks, hubby and I only spent $27 plus tip. Had basil rolls for app, pad thai for me and spicy noodle with beef for husband. Watch out for the trio of red pepper spices--it'll make your eyelids sweat. The servings were generous, but not crazy like serving a family of five. The porch looked delightful, but it's sticky hot, so sat inside. The palace is actually an old house. I'd recommend this unique restaurant over any chain along the interstate. read more

I thought that by adopting an online order system my takeout experience would get better here, but unfortunately it's left me to the point that I'm not coming back. I want to support local business but when it takes over an hour to make 2 rolls, a basil roll appetizer, soup and a salad, we didn't even order entrees, you need to re-evaluate your business model. I paid $60 for that, too. We will just go to Yuki instead. And if you have an online ordering system, it told me the food would be ready in like 15 minutes. I left my house to sit there for over 45 minutes waiting and no one even told me how long it would be. I have a 6 month old, an hour of time is precious I could have been cleaning or doing laundry. I did get a sorry for the wait, but that is when you wait 10 or maybe 20 extra minutes, not more than 45 past the estimated time. read more

Cute place! You can tell the place is truly historic house. So it's a restaurant! First thing I find it cool is the door have old fashioned door bell! I gave it a try but duh I'm deaf I couldn't hear it that well. Anyway it wasn't many people, my friends and I went there on a Monday night. We ordered our food I beloved I got Chicken ginger and carrot entree... I think? I know I have ginger in it it was good it's taste more flowery herbal flavor. I also ordered Thai iced coffee. Okay, look I get it there is a lot going on right now with COVID however, this was not good. I am extremely sad because I'm trying to give money to my local spots but this was terrible. Thai fried rice was pork and it tasted like fish or like shrimp. The Pad See Ew was dry and the noddles were sticking together. The styrofoam that held the noodles burn through at the bottom and it was falling a part in my hands. The sushi (I should have know better) the yummy sauce went bad and tasted like vinegary. The cheese inside of the sushi was horrible. It was terrible and I am so sad. I wasted 70 bucks and never again. I am so sorry guys but this is by far the worst Thai meal I've ever had. Wow! If I could eat here every day I absolutely would! The Thai iced tea is to die for, as is the cucumber salad. The pad Thai and the mee krob isn't slouchy either! Clean, quiet (inside) and a massive, beautifully arranged wrap around porch patio. Yeah, the bathroom is a little weird, but the main door locks and there's a small divider wall, so if you're with family or friends, who cares?! From first to worst. New owners are serving up syrupy-sweet Thai, American style, instead of the beautiful, nuanced, authentic flavors we came to expect from the previous owners and kitchen. Sushi is full of sweet mayonnaise. Sushi ginger is the neon pink variety for amateurs. Pompano in ginger sauce was like eating fish for desert it was so sugary sweet. Over-fried, a few dry bites of fish were edible: one whole side of the fish had nothing edible. I couldn't eat the vegetables swimming in syrup, and I couldn't bring myself to look at the bill to see what I had paid for this disappointment. New owners need to act, fast. They're still doing a great volume of business, but increasing disappointment by discerning customers may be their undoing. After nine years as a loyal customer I have no plans to return unless I need a bowl of coconut soup and some basil rolls; they still do a great job with these menu items. On the upside: Service is perfect. Cleanliness is good as ever. Restaurant is beautiful, and ability to dine on the porch appreciated during this pandemic. read more

I had not been here since before it changed hands. To be fair, it was jam-packed and the owners and staff seemed overwhelmed, but the sushi was rolled very loosely, the orders weren't exactly right, and the servers were so overwhelmed that we didn't bother asking for adjustments. I hope they improve to the standards of the prior ownership. It is not bad, just some noob mistakes that can be corrected if they are aware. read more
