We were in the mood for Chinese food and were in the Stonecrest area.  We did a quick search and…read morefound Grand China.  We pulled into the shared parking lot, entered and quickly reviewed the menu.  Wifey and I ordered a Spare Rib Tips meal with Veggie fried rice, to share.  She didn't want the rice, so we added a side order of fries.  Additionally, we ordered the Sesame chicken with fries for my daughter.  The food was ready quickly.  We packed it up and headed home.  My 1st comment on the rib tips was that they were overcooked. Some pieces were too hard and crunchy. Wifey appreciated the crunch more than I did.  My daughter commented that the Sesame chicken was not her "Fav" and the chicken almost did not taste like chicken. I've literally waited 20 years to try this place (known if it never went) until my buddy spoke highly of their Basil Duck. On the day I tried it, I didn't have a whole lot of time, so I ordered a to -go Pad Si Ew with beef. It came a few minutes after the stated "10 minutes", (15 minutes, but that is 50 % longer than promised) however it came out piping hot, bagged and ready to go with a nice side of a coconut mushroom soup that I did not expect. Inside was nicely decorated and in keeping with what I consider to be traditional. The outside is nice and neat, very clean, and in a convenient outdoor shopping area with convenient parking. 5 stars. Value here is more of a 2 stars situation. Lunch was listed as $15.95 (including the beef option). I always tip at least 10% on a carry out, but shame on me, the had already added that but didn't say anything, nor did I read it anywhere, but I tipped on top of that and should not have. So basically with entree, tax, tip,.....and tip, I was at $20 for a lunch. To go. 3 stars on my food. The food quality was good, though I did not care for the soup. It was so seaweed heavy, funky, different, that I poured it out. The Pad Si Ew was good, but needed Soy sauce. There was none to be found in the bag. None on the counter to pack. Oh well. I'll go try the Basil Duck next time. And probably sit down for a more in depth look.

My wife had the sweet and sour shrimp and it was terrible. The shrimp was heavily battered in a thick soft crust and had zero flavor. It went straight in the trash. We paid extra so she could have fried rice and it was gummy and bland. Again in the trash. I have the chicken lo mein and shrimp fried rice combo and it was barely OK. I have the hot and sour soup with it and it was nothing like it should have been and was also terrible. We had the crab Rangoon for an appetizer and they were fine. I also ordered a sweet tea for my daughter and they left that off the order as well. Not even worth trying to get my $2 back for the missed sweet tea. This will be the last time we eat here. There are a lot better places nearby.

My table of four had one hibachi dish and the Unsinkable 1 sushi boat, which had a variety of sushi, some sashimi, two tempura shrimp, and curly radish noodles on leafs. It was very attractive and satisfying. I had hot tea, which was nothing special: just a tea bag of green tea in a plastic mug. The restaurant could improve the presentation on that. One tv was showing music videos with the sound off. Another tv was playing anime with English subtitles. The walls were covered in hand painted sushi art and posters of many kinds. I enjoyed looking at the collection of ramen bowls lined up on the bar. The food was great and service was great. I'd eat here again.

The broth was very salty and the spinach tasted odd. I am still perplexed as to why they call it vegan but it comes with an egg, maybe that's the Dirty part. I visited Buffalo china after checking out yelp for dinner. Buffalo China seemed to have some…read moredecent reviews, so I went on in! Speaking about positives: Located at the intersection of Hairston road and rockbridge road in a little strip, finding a parking spot is easy to come by in this shared lot. Finding a seat is pretty easy too, because the interior is much larger than it looks from the outside. Customer service is stellar. The woman I spoke with was very friendly, happy to see her customers and she gave the place a mom and pop feel that's hard to duplicate. Not so positives: I really wanted to love the food because of how nice customer service was but what I ordered for a to go meal just wasn't very good. I ordered their General Tso chicken ($7.50) and subbed beef fried rice for their standard rice (this brought my total to $10.84). The fried rice came with strips of beef, onion and corn, but man was it almost dripping in grease. I took this meal with me the next day and I just didn't finish it because it was so greasy. The actual general chicken was very bready, having what seems like very little chicken. The chicken was not crispy at all and the flavor was just okay. An egg roll accompanies the meal too but again, very limp and soggy (all after about an 8 to 10 minute drive before eating some of it). Buffalo china doesn't completely focus on Asian fusion dishes. You can get burgers, wings, fish and philly cheese steak. Maybe I should have got one of those dishes, or maybe the chef just had an off night, but that evening and the next afternoon for lunch, the food just didn't measure up to some of the other experiences i've had with fried rice and General Tso. As this is a local store that's been around for a long time, if you're in the area, maybe give them a shot, especially with some of their other dishes. If I go back, I will definitely order something different.
