Come here for their lunch specials M-F 11-3! We've been regulars here for their lunch special for long time and they are very consistent! Lunch special comes with salad and egg roll and portions are good and Thai food is delicious! Staff are always friendly and place is very clean nice interior decorations. Came here with my parents for dinner the other night. The dishes were all great! We ordered fried tofu, pad see ew, and hot basil. The fried tofu was pillowy on the inside and perfectly crisped on the outside. The pad see ew had plump noodles and plenty of meat and broccoli. The hot basil was my favorite, with a good amount of spice and a healthy serving of colorful vegetables. It's a simple place but the atmosphere is very welcoming. RACIST ESTABLISHMENT: Terrible customer service for Black & Brown Customers I have been eating here for years. Over the past 6 to 12 months, I have noticed that the new customer service representative at the front visibly treats Black and Brown customers differently from other customers. Whether I am picking up an order or dining in, I am consistently met with an attitude, eye rolls, unanswered questions, poor customer service, and an overall feeling that I am neither welcome nor valued. Meanwhile, other customers are greeted warmly, given attention, offered water, and treated with respect. As a result, I will no longer be spending my money here. I also encourage anyone who supports businesses that treat all customers fairly and respectfully, including Black and Brown customers, to consider spending their money elsewhere. read more

We had noticed a lot of people grabbing take out, and we knew it was going to be good! The service was great, the kind lady who helped us did a great job! Love the area where this restaurant is at, there is a nice side parking where you can park if you aren't there during lunch or dinner. Simple quick Thai fusion food , the noodle lunch specials are my weakness. Please please please visit this place! I've gone here for around 2-3 years and I've never been disappointed. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in all of San Diego. Their Thai tea is unrivaled (you've gotta try ittt), and when dining in, they give it in a pretty big cup which is amazing!! My personal favorite meals here are the massaman curry and pad see ew. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures to showcase those before I started eating but I did also order a Papaya Salad and some Cream Cheese Wontons (8) which were both also really good. To top it off, their customer service is extremely friendly and welcoming. If you are dining in, the ambiance is also really nice as they play quiet but relaxing music. The only issue is that sometimes the parking can be a little tight during lunch on weekdays but aside from that there's always parking. I've had a few other top rated Thai places around north park, but Thai Pepper Cuisine is the best in my opinion. read more

I don't normally write poor reviews but I feel the need to here. I love Thai food, I enjoy a nice kick of spicy, however, I asked for a mild spice level. My mouth is on fire and makes it difficult to enjoy the flavor of the food. That was definitely not mild, not even close. To add to that, my dish consisted of chicken and shrimp. I got a grand total of 2 shrimps and very little chicken for a dish that costs $20 dollars. There are plenty of other Thai restaurants that charge less, give more, and taste much better. The inside is small with about six tables and I think they mainly focus on to-go orders, but service was great and attentive as we were the only ones dining in early on a weeknight. We got a Papaya Salad Thai style which was very refreshing, good balance of sour and sweet. I had a seafood Pad See Ew without mussels and it was really good with nice portions and price :) Would definitely get again, I do think their spicyness was lighter than I anticipated though. I ordered medium spicy but it didn't feel spicy? So for those who love spice, I would get spicy in the future. My partner got a Tofu Pad Thai which they enjoyed. I tried this place for the first time today with coworkers and I'm really happy I was invited along. We ordered egg rolls, cream cheese wontons and the Tom Kha for appetizers. Their spice level is 1-10 and the soup was a 3, not very spicy. I wanted to start lower than increase the spice level on my next visit. 3 has some kick and best suited for those who aren't crazy about heat. All three items were great, soup was one of the best ones I've had here in SD. My main dish was the Thai beef salad. Lemon grass marinaded beef over lettuce and mixed with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, and green onions. It was tossed is a fish sauce based dressing with chili flakes and I got this a 3 spice level. Again, could have done a higher level. Delicious and refreshing! I would ordered this again. I wanted to keep it light on a work day. Next time I dine here I will order a noodle and rice dish. They have reasonable lunch specials from 11-3pm. Must try! read more

We shared the cream cheese wontons, which I felt were better than other places I have tried, yet I've always felt they're pricey in my opinion! My friend got the vegetable pad thai and I ordered their pan fried green garden mixture and chose beef as my protein. The lunch special came with an egg roll and a small side salad. The spring roll wasn't anything too special, but I wished I had a bigger salad because I really enjoyed the dressing. The place was a small space with only about 6ish tables and they seemed to be taking a lot of phone orders, so they seem to get a good amount of business. Can't say too much about service as my friend and I didn't need much, but I felt they did well considering the server was in charge of the phone orders too it seemed.
