Come here for their lunch specials M-F 11-3! We've been regulars here for their lunch special for long time and they are very consistent! Lunch special comes with salad and egg roll and portions are good and Thai food is delicious! Staff are always friendly and place is very clean nice interior decorations. Pad see ew comes with lots of meat and veggies and good portion size. We've tried a lot of their plates though so they are all A+ so just come for all your Thai food needs. Also, you can ask for a sweet and sour sauce for the egg rolls, too!

Thai Pepper is such a gem. The space is a bit on the smaller side for seating, but the food more than makes up for it. I usually order their lunch to-go because they are affordable and always tasty, but this time I dined in and the experience was even better. I ordered the potstickers, coconut shrimp, and curry, and my friend had the crab fried rice. The crab fried rice is incredible -- you can tell they do not skimp on the crab, and it is packed with big, flavorful crab clusters. Everything tasted fresh, was served quickly, and was absolutely delicious. Thai Pepper is one of those spots where every dish hits the mark, and I can't wait to come back.

Let me start by saying their crab fried rice is one of the best I've had. The amount of crab is plentiful! Crab is nice and sweet and pairs well with their fried rice.. spice level 5 for me. Their Drunken noodles and Pad See Ew are excellent. Great portion for to go orders. You can definitely get a few meals out of 1 order.

Came here with my parents for dinner the other night. The dishes were all great! We ordered fried tofu, pad see ew, and hot basil. The fried tofu was pillowy on the inside and perfectly crisped on the outside. The pad see ew had plump noodles and plenty of meat and broccoli. The hot basil was my favorite, with a good amount of spice and a healthy serving of colorful vegetables. It's a simple place but the atmosphere is very welcoming. They put love into their food and you can taste it. They staff are also joyful and attentive people! Very warm and welcoming.

This Thai food spot is really Spot On with their food. We have never had a bad dish from here. The mayo chicken is fantastic and the cream cheese wonton is so good it's almost like a dessert.

Some of the best Thai food I've had in a while. Can tell it was made fresh and the ingredients were high quality, got the medium spice and it was perfect, very attentive and quick service too, definitely coming back if I'm in town!

My boyfriend loves it here & took me here to try it. It was pretty good!! I will say the chicken was a little dry/chewy. I asked for a higher spice level, and while they ended up not being spicy, they were still flavorful and crispy. I loved the dressing on the salad, that was delicious. The woman working there was really nice also :) A quaint and comfy little spot with street parking available.

Flavor, flavor, and more flavor. My husband and I dropped by Thai Pepper Cuisine today and I can't wait to come back. The restaurant is a bit on the smaller side but has a very clean and modern feel. We had noticed a lot of people grabbing take out, and we knew it was going to be good! The service was great, the kind lady who helped us did a great job! We tried the spicy noodles and the pad see ew, and both were delicious, though the spicy noodles were definitely our favorite. Everything was super fresh and we left with full bellies. Ext time, we'd probably try one of the curry dishes. Will definitely be coming back the next time we visit San Diego!

They were incredibly welcoming, and the food came out so fast. The crab fried rice is better than any we've had at other Thai restaurants, and the seafood curry is a real hit, I loved it. The only downside is that the opening hours are a bit odd, so we don't get to come as often as we'd like. That said, we'll definitely be back whenever we have the chance.

Love the area where this restaurant is at, there is a nice side parking where you can park if you aren't there during lunch or dinner. Simple quick Thai fusion food , the noodle lunch specials are my weakness. I usually get the pad see ew and the lunch special comes with one egg roll and a salad ( not sure if there's a dressing? ) Serves are quick and friendly if you are dining in. There's definitely a vibe Would recommend eating with company :)

Please please please visit this place! I've gone here for around 2-3 years and I've never been disappointed. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in all of San Diego. Their Thai tea is unrivaled (you've gotta try ittt), and when dining in, they give it in a pretty big cup which is amazing!! My personal favorite meals here are the massaman curry and pad see ew. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures to showcase those before I started eating but I did also order a Papaya Salad and some Cream Cheese Wontons (8) which were both also really good. To top it off, their customer service is extremely friendly and welcoming. If you are dining in, the ambiance is also really nice as they play quiet but relaxing music. The only issue is that sometimes the parking can be a little tight during lunch on weekdays but aside from that there's always parking. I've had a few other top rated Thai places around north park, but Thai Pepper Cuisine is the best in my opinion.

I am middle of eating this and it's so absolutely good that I had to post! lunch pad thai, two spicy level, cream cheese wontons, wow!! these come packaged so nicely, foil wrapped the entree, salad dressing in a cute little container, eveything looks and tastes amazingly fresh and awesome. I used to be a saab ee Lee customer , but this pad thai is awesome and way better! very friendly people work here too, my new favorite!

The staff was friendly when we arrived, we were seated quickly, received our drinks promptly, and our food came out fast. The music was enjoyable, the ambiance was nice, and the restaurant had a modern, welcoming feel. Most importantly, the food was excellent. Everything we ordered was delicious, and my kids couldn't stop talking about the crispy pork belly. Honestly, the food itself was 5-star quality. The issue was what happened as the restaurant approached closing time. About 10-15 minutes after we started eating, a staff member brought our check and asked us to pay even though we were still waiting on two mango sticky rice desserts that had not yet been served. I politely explained that we hadn't received all of our food yet, so it didn't make sense to close out the bill. The desserts were brought out shortly afterward. A different employee then returned and again asked us to close out the check, assuring us that we could continue eating while they finished closing. Although I was hesitant, I paid and explained that I would leave a cash tip after we finished since we were still dining. Unfortunately, from that point on, the service noticeably changed. No one checked on our table, our water glasses were never refilled, and the staff seemed focused on cleaning around us. The booth behind us was being cleaned very loudly while we were still trying to enjoy our meal. It made us feel rushed and unwelcome, and honestly took away from an otherwise great dinner. When I asked for containers for our leftovers, the interaction felt cold and standoffish compared to the friendly service we received earlier in the evening. My suggestion would be that if the restaurant is close to closing and doesn't want guests dining in, they should clearly communicate that and switch to takeout only. The food was genuinely delicious, and I would come back again--but not near closing time. Great food, disappointing end to the evening.

I took my sister there last week who did not want to go because Thai food is too spicy. I explained that it was northern Thai which is less spicy. I went with one of my girlfriends tonight at about 5:30 PM. We were quickly seated. I ordered a mango lemonade, which came out quite fast and was beautiful. It tasted pretty good too. I asked the server for recommendations on the menu, but she seemed startled by my question, like she was not used to giving recommendations. The two items that she did recommend didn't really sound appealing so I went with Pad See Ew with mock duck. That's one of my go to dishes at a Thai restaurant. I asked not to have any spice level added to my food, but the food came out and was just generally lacking flavor. It was very bland and even though there was a generous portion of vegetables in the dish the mock duck was super mushy. All the places I've ever been to it's sautéed crispy. Also, the the noodles were all stuck together. Like if you put noodles in water to let it boil, but you don't stir them and they just boil like that in a clump. The restaurant was very cute inside. I would be open to trying it again just because I've heard so many good things that I can't believe this is their standard experience.

When we ordered, our server took the time to explain their spice scale (1-5), letting us know that a 1 is already about a medium spice level. The server also gave us a heads-up that it's very fish-forward in flavor, which we appreciated and happened to love. The absolute standout of the meal was the Nam Khao Tod. It was hands down the family favorite--crispy coconut rice with pork sausage, crunchy peanuts, fresh herbs, and so many incredible textures and flavors in every bite. We could have ordered a second plate! We also had the Drunken Noodles with chicken, which were slightly oily in the best possible way, making them extra rich and delicious. The Chef's Special Basil Stir Fry with Crispy Pork was another winner.
