We had Pad see ew with beef Drunken noodles with tofu and beef Fish eggplant specialty Mango sticky rice Craving Thai food, but the noodles didn't have much flavor as we recall from previous orders. The eggplant fish dish deserves 5 stars and the Mango Sticky rice.

First time here. No wait on a Friday night, got seated right away. The food was quick and fresh. Glad that there is a good Thai restaurant by the house.

This little Thai place is a hidden gem! Literally and metaphorically because it can be hard to find. The GPS will tell you the wrong directions. You have to get on the small road Gibbs Dr, which is next to the main street Aero Drive. This place is takeout only. Anyways on to the food! The food is flavorful and spicy if you want it to be. They ask for your spice level, I got a mild pad see ew and a medium spice pad Thai. The medium was something that I can handle, whereas some places medium I can't. If you really like spicy don't be afraid to get hotter than medium. The portion is generous and the food came out freshly made and piping hot. The price is good value as well and is cheaper than most other Thai places around the area. The service is very nice and friendly. It's a small mom and pop restaurant and the owner is welcoming and kind. I ordered take out in the store and waited in my car. When the food was ready he came out and personally delivered it to me. If you're looking for a quick fix for your Thai cravings, this is the place to go.

Drunken tofu noodles and Rama Thai chicken. A+++

Still fire. Came back and it was to go. Got 3 items red curry tofu, pad Thai beef and chicken pad ram (their peanut sauce is fire). Again think hole in wall taco shop with the best Thai food ever. He is on his phone screaming at the cooks in back to keep prices down and food fast. I love this spot. Owner manager is on point.

    Mango sticky rice

Preface this is an absolute hole in the wall so two things. One; Please see full review. Two; Honestly wtf are these low star reviews? Moved to the area recently and this was on my try list being literally 10 minutes away walking. My coworker and I got shrimp pad Thai, sweet and sour mock duck, and a mango sticky rice to go. Forgot my wallet when I went, not a big deal living so close, but asked the owner if they had tap to pay as being a hole in the wall not much online info. Actually found this place driving by not on a search. I was assured they had tap to pay and that the food would be out shortly. Ran next door and came back had a lovely and genuine chat with the owner. Truly nice people. Food wise B! O! M! B! I'm vegetarian my coworker isn't. We're both light eaters and I'll just say we devoured our plates well past being stuffed. Heat levels are spot on. Flavors were better than expectations. I'm not going to sit here and call this place worthy of a multiple Michelin stars but if you're in the area and want to try some quality Thai at honestly a really reasonable price this is it. That said I've been around the block literally and figuratively and this one will definitely be "tested" again and is on up there with the top Thai in/around convoy area of San Diego if not all of San Diego. Looking forward to my next visit

Good tasting Thai food. Food was fresh and tasty. They are generous with their portion so you will not leave hungry.

Well, I was impressed by their food and the service provided by K. We ordered Pork Loin and pork belly chop, curry noodles with duck, papaya salad, and braised beef ribs. They were all soooooo good. I ordered Mango Sticky Rice for dessert and they offered a free scoop of ice cream for my birthday. Our waiter K was knowledgeable about the food and was very friendly. We were lucky and were able to grab the spot right out front. For drinks we each ordered a cocktail. It did take a bit for them to come out but once they did you can tell time and effort were put into making them. They were beautiful and all tasted great. We ordered 4 dishes to share, the wasabi scallop ceviche, crispy baby crab, braised beef panang, and crab fried rice. The ceviche was definitely one of my favorites. Super flavorful, fresh, with the perfect amount of wasabi. The crispy baby crab was savory and easy to eat, especially since you're eating the whole crab, shell and all. The curry in the braised beef panang was so addicting, I couldn't stop eating it. The crab fried rice was tasty and filling. For dessert we got the mango sticky rice. The mangoes were fresh and sweet. Overall pretty standard but still yummy. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive. All the food came out in the timely manner. The vibe of the restaurant is casual but can be a little dressy for a nice date. Overall I definitely recommend a try here. Beautiful presentation with all the food and drinks while still being delicious.

I got us a beautiful Airbnb right next to Our Lady of Peace Catholic Girls School (mind out of the gutter, please). It's gorgeous, but we didn't know where to eat. I did a quick Yelp Search; thank you, Yelpers! I found this place. It was only a stone's throw from where we are staying, which is a beautiful little neighborhood! I was very hungry for some reason, probably from all the moving and lifting of boxes, but we came here. I had the Garlic Pepper w/tofu stir fry, and my husband had the lo mein with mock duck. For an appetizer, we had the tofu spring rolls! DELISH. Becky, our gracious server, was wonderful and was kind enough to break out our bill. I had two Chardonnay nays (Martin reference), which were only $ 10.00 each- good wine and cheaper than that current white wine at the Whistle Stop. My dish was very good. I love the crispy broccoli, and they put some type of cabbage slaw mixed with the sauce in it, which was incredible. My husband loved his lo mein. I am not a fan of lo mein, but whatever, it smokes his shorts. We are moving out of San Diego, so over the next three to four months we will be going to new places in other neighborhoods to try them out before we leave. Beautiful ambiance too; I love the way it's decorated. They are the same group that owns my other favorite Thai place, Plumeria. One last note: some genius wrote that this isn't a good place for vegetarians; I giggled when I saw it on Yelp. Lots of vegetarian and vegan choices right on their menu.

I got the lowest spice level since I don't do spice, and it was perfect for me. It came with three pieces of shrimp, and the portion was a good size for lunch. The service was great. Our waiter kept our waters refilled, and our food came out in less than 10 minutes. The portions were a decent size and definitely enough to fill you up for lunch. The inside is cute and has a nice atmosphere. There was also plenty of street parking, which is always a plus. Overall, I had a good experience and am looking forward to coming back to try some of their other dishes!

The fries looked super plain, but I couldn't stop reaching back for more. They're both labelled as spicy, so we were a bit worried for someone in our group who cannot handle spice at all. But even he said they weren't spicy at all--mostly just sweet. So don't let the chili pepper symbol scare you away from ordering! KHAO SOI (CHICKEN): It's not as common to see khao soi on the menu as some of the other more popular noodle dishes, so I usually try to order this if it's available! Theirs had good flavor and a generous portion of chicken.  Overall, I enjoyed all the dishes I tried here and would love to come back to try their other menu offerings!
