    Thai mango tofu

Decent Food, But Poor Service and Cleanliness We stopped by for lunch. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating for both small and large groups, though the tables are a bit small. As vegetarians, we appreciated that they made substitutions for us, but the server lacked menu knowledge. Every question we asked had to be relayed to the chef. Here's what we ordered: * Tom Yum Soup: Very tasty. * Dang Penang Curry with Tofu: Decent but on the sweeter side. * Thai Mango Tofu: Way too sweet for our liking. * Basil Fried Rice: Just okay. There was hardly any basil, mostly large stems. We asked for plates to share, and were given tiny saucers. When we asked for larger plates, the server said they don't have big dinner plates, and only had a few quarter plates left, which they had to save for other reasons. The service was disappointing. The staff were stingy with napkins, and when we asked for more, they said four napkins were enough for four people. We had a few leftovers and asked for three boxes, but the server seemed annoyed and made us feel uncomfortable. Cleanliness was a major issue. The restroom was dirty, had no hand soap, and the toilet paper holder was broken, causing the rolls to fall on the floor. I'd give cleanliness 2 stars, and only 1 star for the restroom. Overall, the food was decent but nothing special, and the service and cleanliness need significant improvements

Very unique menu items for a Thai restaurant- they have everything from curries, to noodles, and even traditional Chinese fair like orange chicken. Food was decent and the atmosphere was a bit lacking luster. I would take this to go next time and avoid the ambiguous interior.

We loved this place! I think the inside was kept clean and a good place for dine in. They have large tables for families. Spring rolls were a huge hit and especially loved the peanut sauce. The rolls were pretty large too. Thai tea was sweet and great accompaniment for my Basil Fried rice which was pretty spicy (6/10). My family ordered Pad See Ew and for their first time trying the food, it was a huge hit. The house special rice was also great with a variety of meats mixed in. The portions are huge and one dish can easily split between two people.

Loved the Pho, rich broth, all the goodies. Service was outstanding, will definitely be back!

This is my go to spot for Pho in Holland. Honestly, there aren't very many in town to choose from, but I have yet to have a bad experience here so I just keep coming back. When a restaurant gives you the same food experience every single time it fosters trust. I can recommend this place for Pho without hesitation. We were in on a Sunday afternoon and they were fairly busy. We were seated quickly, our order was taken and the food was coming out all within about 10 minutes or so. Now, the location and decor give divey vibes, but I learned a long time ago that some of the best gems are divey. It was clean, just maybe a little drab and old. That didn't bother us at all though because we were there for the good food. I got the Pho Combo (I get this every time) and my wife tried the Tom Yum soup. They have like three sizes for the Pho up to extra large. That's what I went with because I was super hungry. I did end up taking a container of leftovers home. My wife liked the Tom Yum soup which has a bright orange Thai sour broth with vegetables. They brought it out to the table in a metal container with a heating element under to keep the soup hot. I tasted it and it reminded me of lobster bisque. Not in flavor but in richness and consistency. This is the kind of soup that needs something to balance the richness, like bread or crackers or something like that. But....for me...it's all about the pho here.

One star because we found some sparkly non edible items in our takeout pineapple fried rice. To me that just means their kitchen isn't sanitary. Our fried rice was mushy, I ordered shrimp and saw about four pieces. We also ordered fried calamari that was disappointing as well. Calamari was soggy. Definitely not coming back to this place.

Yummm! Everything I ordered was great and my husband was happy, what more can I ask for! We stopped spontaneously for some pho on this chilly spring day. My husband loves pho! We ordered the regular size but it was plenty for two. The brisket was tender and the broth was tasty and not too salty! I really liked the bits of cilantro thrown in there. I also got a Thai fried rice and crab Rangoon to go. The Thai rice has a hint of sweet in there but was mostly savory and full of meat! Since this is near the state park, we'll be back and try to get through the menu this summer!

Every dish me and my family have tried has been amazing! We've been coming here for years and the flavors just keep getting better and better!! If you're in the mood for some pho or some amazing fried rice you should definitely check this place out!!

As someone who's had a lot of Vietnamese food, I'd say my experience here was pretty mediocre. The service was quick and the restaurant was clean but the flavors weren't doing much for me. The best thing were the chicken wings- golden and crispy. I got the pho and the broth could've done with more flavor and the meat felt over cooked but the noodles were done well. At only $8 a bowl, it's going to satisfy your cravings and make you feel good about supporting local but I wouldn't say you need to run here for the best bowl of pho.

Taste of Asia has food from several Asian countries including Thailand, Vietnam & Laos. When we arrived we met Lena the very charming & helpful owner from Laos. She gave us a brief rundown on some of the food items available on their menu. I see my fellow Yelper formerly from Chicago Leang has also been here. I guess foodies find good food no matter where you live or travel to lol We started w/an order of shrimp spring rolls that came w/4 spring rolls loaded w/fresh lettuce, bean sprouts & shrimp. * Issan Pad Ga Pow - Ground Chicken w/Thai Basil, onion, jalapeño w/jasmine rice ball in the center & a crispy fried egg on top of the rice perfectly cooked w/a nice gooey egg yolk on top of the jasmine rice (Excellent Dish) our favorite * Pad See Ew - Thick rice noodles w/beef, Chinese broccoli & egg w/soy sauce w/a sweetness * Larb V - season minced meat, lime juice, patise, cilantro, bean sprouts & sliced cucumbers. Very good but a tad too salty for our taste. So many times when restaurants try to cook a variety of different Asian dishes from multiple countries you end up w/a variety of mediocre dishes. This wasn't the case w/Taste of Asian where each dish had its own unique blend of seasonings that made it unique to the country being represented. Our host Lena was very helpful in helping us choose our dishes. The young girl (probably her daughter came out to check on our needs several times). Her 4 year old son was tasked with bringing out a sticky rice ball wrapped to each table. I asked him how many girlfriends he had he held out his hand w/4 fingers. He better not get any older or he'll be in trouble w/1 girl for every year lol Great food, great service w/a nice choice of options in terms of the dishes to choose from.

This worked well, and the overall vibe of the restaurant from the ordering to the seating choices is quick service. Service: The restaurant was relatively slow due to being so newly opened, but the service was great. The staff worked hard to answer our questions to the best of their ability. Food: The menu had a few mixups with the things that were labeled gluten-free, and the staff seemed unclear what the answers were until another person (owner) could be available. This is critical for my friend not to be sick. In the end, my dining partner kind of did her best guessing and was happily correct. However, we will probably not be back together until they get that sorted out. It's not worth getting her sick. Pros: - Efficient - great choices - delicious beverages - The food was so good I dug in before I even snapped the picture Cons: - despite being labeled gluten-free on the menu, there were clearly some mixups - beverages were quite pricey
