First, the photo for this business is the same photo used three ways. The place is tiny and really just a take-out counter. There may be one or two small tables, but it isn't really a place you'd sit down to eat. It seems like a family business, there's usually a middle aged couple cooking and a guy who may be their son working the counter. He's not particularly friendly. Not rude - just not friendly. Good news - the food isn't really flavorful, so they likely don't use MSG or any other flavor enhancer. Vegetables seem fresh. Egg rolls are good. The other side of this is the food is bland. Main dishes are really oily. The kitchen is right at the check out, so you can see the cooking surfaces and watch the cooking. A lot of oil. The wonton soup is made with a broth that seems canned - kind of dark gold and not like real chicken broth you find in other Chinese restaurants' wonton soup. Check your order before you leave. One of the recent times we ordered, we ordered 2 orders of wonton soup and got home to find out we had 1 wonton and 1 egg drop. They also don't give you much sweet and sour sauce and sometimes they haven't put it in our order. I always remind them or ask for another one to make sure we get some. My husband ordered friend rice (chicken fried rice?) maybe 3 weeks ago, and it was just a strange mixture. When ordering carry out, the restaurant is kind of dingy and no AC. Clean enough but not where I would want to eat in. The staff was kind. Crab Rangoons are good, very flavorful. Sweet and sour chicken was good. Friend rice has a Smokey flavor. The chicken with vegetables is good however the food definitely had msg because I could feel it after eating. Food is great! Recommend. Tip: the last four times we've phone or online ordered, our food has taken an extra 10-20 minutes--so you might want to show up later than what the pick up time is. Unless you like waiting--then go as planned. read more

Amazing takeout! I grew up eating their food since it was down the street from my house and it honestly doesn't get any better than this!

This was our Christmas dinner today (blizzard forced us to stay local) and I am *impressed*. Great value, great flavor, great portions and it was ready quickly. Crab rangoons and eggrolls are some of the best I've ever had, and they did not skimp on the meat in the combo platters like other restaurants. I absolutely love the great wall everything I have ever had off their menu is delicious I especially love the dumplings the almond cookies and the Sesame chicken. Besides those the seafood fried rice is also delicious and I love that they have multiple different types of eggrolls and soups to pick from the variety is unique. I have never had an issue with service here or getting a wrong order, the only criticism I have and I wish I could've given them four and a half stars because of is that their menu does not have enough pictures or descriptions on all the items which makes it hard for me to order different things and I feel like I can get stuck ordering the same things. Although I have no doubt that even if I took a risk it would still be good I like knowing what I'm ordering and would likely eat here far more often if that was improved. I also think it's important to mention that the portions are really big. For me, a female college student, a lunch plate along with any soup or appetizer is about three meals or more so that never disappoints and the pricing is very fair. This is our go-to Chinese takeout place in Holland. It's about what you would expect from Americanized Chinese takeout. Crab Rangoons are tasty, General Tso's chicken is delicious (though I wouldn't mind if it were spicier) and portions are generous. Prices aren't too bad either. Staff are friendly. I mean, it's not the most amazing food I've ever eaten or anything like that, but if you're looking for decent takeout, you won't be disappointed. I would have given them at least 4 stars from past experiences. The most recent order I placed with them put a sour taste in my mouth. I called my order in and they told me 30-35 mins which is no problem so I waited and after 30 mins went to pick it up and was told another 10 mins. While I waited for my food someone walked in placed an order and received their food before mine was even ready. I asked them what the problem was and that I had already waited 45 mins all I got back was they knew and were sorry. I will think twice about going back there now. read more

Me and my family were in the mood for Chinese food. We have tried other Chinese restaurants and this one was ok. They seem busy when I ordered over the phone so I was told about 15 mins, when I arrived it wasn't ready yet, I waited for another 25 mins. The girl at the counter (with dyed blonde hair) seemed so rude didn't even apologize about the wait time! The fried rice tasted like it wasn't cooked throughly, tasted a tad hard. We also ordered garlic chicken and beef broccoli, too oily for my taste but it wasn't bad. Overall not to bad, but it was the waiting that I didn't like. My go to for Chinese in Holland. Orange chicken with fried rice combo. Call in and it's almost always ready in 15 minutes or less. Cheap, fast, and great. Has a unique flavor from their well seasoned woks. read more

Food was very good. Sweet and sour chicken and crab ragoons were just amazing. I love that they gave me more than enough sauce for my chicken! :) I would say this is the best Chinese food I've had in Holland by far. I'm defiantly going to be going back there again real soon. read more

Best Chinese food in Holland! My husband and I tried a few other places and this was the best hands down for price, food and service!

Well, here goes, I know everyone has different tastes, but, do they not try other places that are better then this to know the difference? Wife had moo goo gai pan, ok, 4 star, but went down the toilet from a there. I had sweet sour pork, typical 2 parts batter, 1 part meat, tasteless! 1star. Both fried rice? Just a off yellow color with hardly any taste. 1 star. Sweet & sour sauce? Same canned that other cheap Chinese restaurants use, but, they watered it down, very thin, when I put my fork in to taste, I pulled it out and it all ran off, I could count the 8 tiny drops of sauce that stayed on, 1 star. Egg roll? Tough skin, and the watered sour sauce could not not even add flavor. 1 star. Ever go back? NEVER!! Also when the girl that took our order asked if we wanted our change back, we of course said yes, I don't tip at 35 percent, this tells us that they think more of money then quality.
