    Spicy Tuna = YUK!
    Michael K.

Overall, staff service were excellent, and the selections were pretty good, but my issue is take a look at the attached picture and 2 rolls that are meant to be spicy tuna. It was disgusting and had no flavor. So we were asked how we liked it and we told him the truth and, but they did nothing about it. When the bill came, I asked for it to be removed and was told that the manager would not do it. So take a look at the attached picture would you eat that? The manager must have no customer relationships experience, that was clearly evident. So I would not give this place any business. As as many other great choices around Holland, Michigan.

Had the crunch munch 2 and the spicy California tempura roll and both were very big and filling rolls. Very tasty, would return if in the area

Mizu's still great. And they're still so much more than sushi. Check out their bulgogi or bentos. Big into noods? There are a few options here, too. Sushi and rolls are made fast and always fresh. Add a Japanese beer or Korean soju and have a great time. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly.

This was by far the best sushi I have ever had. I had the nigiri and spicy salmon roll combo and it costed $25 which seemed moderately priced but then the pieces of fish on top were decently sized. The only downside to here is that the service was incredibly slow. We ended up having to go in and ask for our check because she never came back having getting our food. Our food took a while. We sat outside which was a little cold but would have been perfect if the sun was more out. I will say, we went during a very busy time so the service is understandable.

Decent price, sushi quality is okay, but not the best. Service is slower on the weekends and fast during the weekends

Food was some of the best sushi/asian I've had! The service was very prompt and food came out in good time. The interior is decorating especially cozy in this winter season. Although not pictured, we had Crab Rangoon. It was really good. From left to right we had Tornado, Beef Teriyaki, Carrot Cucumber Avocado, Philadelphia

Mizu is THE sushi spot. I've seriously spent thousands here over the years--and it's always worth it. I moved to Grand Rapids recently and have tried a bunch of sushi places, but nothing compares. The value is insane--the hand rolls are packed with fish, not just rice, and everything is super fresh. My favorite is the Oyako roll with torched salmon, but I also love basics like the yellowtail scallion roll or salmon cucumber avocado hand roll. The spicy tuna crunch avocado is another go-to. I prefer to order it without eel sauce. I do wish they offered more premium cuts like otoro, but honestly, I'll keep coming back for the quality and consistency.

Okay, I remembered to take pictures this time! I got the Soondubu (again) and the Rainbow #1 sushi roll. It was my first time getting sushi at Mizu, and I have to say... I was impressed! The rice was at a really great texture, the artificial crab meat was sliced up so nice and thin, the salmon and tuna tasted really great and flavorful... I was a happy and satiated girl!! The Soondubu (the spicy tofu stew) was just as good as I remembered it to be - though, I did wish I was way spicer! Honestly, it wasn't spicy at all to me. But the amount of tofu and seafood in the pot was great, and again, very satiating.

The food was amazing. We had an assortment of rolls, edamame, and crab rangoon. The service was friendly and fast. I liked the decor.

Excellent service and sushi was delicious. We had a couple of first time sushi eaters and they loved it. Mizu accommodated a larger group very well. We will return!

We usually go here for sushi and other Asian cuisine, but this trip was disappointing. It's usually really fresh and tastes amazing, but my wife's sushi wasn't that great. I got the sweet chicken which was fried, but was understandably soggy when I ate it as a carry out. However, I thought it lacked flavor. The vegetable egg roll was okay. Carryout food was ready to go at the pickup time so service was fine. Ambiance was fine.

sushi is okay/decent, probably pretty good especially for this area. my issue was the service wasn't the best and i got some dishes/glasses that weren't washed very well. it wasn't inedible, though, and the sake was really good and you get a lot of it in one order

Choose your protein, carb, add veg - an egg roll and soda make it a meal. I tried the salmon and orange chicken with noodles and veg as a meal. Husband did spicy chicken, fried rice, veg meal. First observation is the bathroom hallway serves as storage and something spilled because my shoes stuck to the floor. Pretty yucky, I had to wash the bottoms of my shoes. Food was good. Salmon was not overly fishy, a little dry but worth it - covered in a sweet sauce. Orange chicken was delicious, noodles were perfect, veg was also standard and good - cabbage, broccoli, squash mix. Our egg rolls were cold, such a bummer. Husband enjoyed his as meal well. Said the spicy chicken was more mild but had excellent marinade. Food: The menu had a few mixups with the things that were labeled gluten-free, and the staff seemed unclear what the answers were until another person (owner) could be available.
