    Drunken noodles
    John M.

Overall, I was pleased with the drunken noodles here. My server was absolutely fantastic. The place could definitely use a face-lift, both inside and out, but overall, it was a good meal. Pricing was fair. I think my drunken noodles were about eleven dollars ($10.99 to be exact) and they gave a decent sized portion. If you are in the Goodlettesville, Tennessee area and craving Thai, I would definitely recommend here.

Happy Thai Thursday y'all This place is awesome and flavors are authentic been coming here for 8 years and I love it every time The service is amazing always with a smile on their face and as soon as you walk in the door you get that incredible aroma of Thailand. This is a small location with no so many tables but the ambience and decoration is just right. Don't foeget to order Thai tea to begin and sticky rice with mango at the end Here's some information about Thai Phooket: Menu: They offer a variety of classic Thai dishes, including curries, noodles, salads, and lunch specials. Some popular dishes mentioned in reviews include Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Fried Pork Ribs, and Lao Sausage with Rice. You can view their full menu and even order online through platforms like Grubhub and Seamless. Ambiance and Service: It's described as a tiny, no-frills venue with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Some reviewers describe it as having a homy Thai atmosphere. Hours: They are open daily from 11 AM to 9 PM. Pricing: Prices are considered fair and affordable. Reviews: Thai Phooket has a 4.4-star rating on Google and a 4.1-star rating on Yelp. Many reviewers praise the delicious food, generous portions, and friendly service. However, some Yelp reviews mention slow service and issues with accuracy when ordering. Thai Phooket closed but also has a second location, Thai Phooket II in Goodlettsville, TN. There is also a restaurant called Asia Market & Thai Phooket in Smyrna, TN, which has a grocery store alongside the restaurant. However, reviews suggest that these locations may have different levels of food quality and service.

We always enjoy Thai and this is my wife's favorite place. I like the Rama here. The fried dumplings were delicious. My wife loves Drunken Noodles but tonight she tried the Drunken Fried Rice and I will say it was extremely delicious. We both miss the original place by the stadium but we still like this one.

Great place to take a hungry family on a budget. Ordered drunken noodles (weren't spicy like I expected) and a Thai tea. Don't skip the tea - it's $4 and pure heaven. Noodles had great flavor, just not what I expected. Had half an egg roll and a wonton as part of shared apps and those were tasty. No frills spot. Come in, eat, get out and make room! Small place. Heard it's popular for takeout and totally understand why. Too far for me to come back regularly but if you're in the area, it's a good move.

We walked in and seated ourselves. The owner waited on us and he is really nice plus all of the customers know him like family. I feel like I have been missing out by not coming here before now. Anyway We ordered an appetizer which is the crispy wonton. Great filling inside the wontons a seafood mixture. We also ordered a cup of soup. Simply delicious! Now for my main course I had Seafood Pho. I've been searching for a good Thai restaurant since I been here. Well I found it!!!! The Seafood Pho was the BOMB! Hubby had the Pad Thai with beef and chicken cooked to perfection. The restaurant is in an older building but the owner say he's been there for 16 years. The tasted like it was all made from scratch. Check it out if you in the area.

I usually stay away from pho at Thai spots, but my husband ordered it and it was actually really good, with a flavorful broth that surprised us both. My favorite dish of the night was the Panang Curry. I haven't had Thai curry in years because it's been so disappointing in middle TN, but I decided to give this one a shot and I'm so glad I did. It tasted fresh, the sweet coconut milk came through without being heavy, and the chicken was incredibly tender. They don't skimp on meat or portions here - we left full and happy. I don't want dumbed down ethnic food, I want it to be authentic. I got summer rolls & a small veggie Tom Kha Gai soup. I got everything to go. I went to my iron infusion at Vanderbilt Hendersonville then waited until I was hooked up & alone to eat. When I saw my food I was kinda shocked. $20 for about six bites of summer rolls & five to six tablespoon fulls of soup was disappointing. These rolls are the smallest I've ever seen. There was so much rice paper & so little filling! The soup was not a favorite either as it was extremely sweet. Tom Kha can be sweet, but this was like sugary milk water. There were hardly any veggies in the tiny styrofoam cup as well. All in all, the best part of this experience was the lady who took my order. Everything else could have been avoided & will in the future.

The crab Rangoons were different too the inside was yellowish, which I'm used to seeing a white cheese interior, the filling melted perfectly in your mouth as you take a bite of the crunchy exterior. Amazing! For the main entree both dishes were stars packed with flavor and comfort; crispy chicken pad kee mao & the thao sai chicken noodle curry soup. If you walk into a restaurant at 7pm on a Wednesday night and the place is fully packed and there…read moreare people waiting behind you to be sat, you KNOW you made the right decision to go there. We were greeted nicely by the hostess and waited roughly 5 minutes for a table to open up. A family of five came in right after us and decided to sit at the bar to eat. I knew in my heart that this was the best place to go to for my husband's birthday dinner. We sat on some barstools while we waited, discussing the hockey game playing on the tv behind the bar. I loved the low ambient lighting that spread across the ceiling. Our waitress was nice but she never gave us her name so I unfortunately can't shout her out. She gave us recommendations so I ended up taking one of hers. Now, if you have read my Thai restaurant reviews, you know by now that I judge a Thai restaurant by ordering their Pad Thai the first visit, however, I broke that rule because I just KNEW this place was going to be good. We ordered the Tom Kha soup with chicken, Pad Kee Mao with chicken, I ordered the Khao Soi Gai (it comes with chicken, no substitutions), and one Thai iced tea. You guys. When the Tom Kha soup touched my lips, I was SO excited to get the main course! It was made PERFECTLY. I haven't had true Tom Kha since probably when I lived in California over a decade ago. The Thai tea was strong and delicious, exactly how it should be made. The Khao Soi Gai...that first sip of the curry broth nearly made me go Meg Ryan-mode in the restaurant. If you know, you know. "I'll have what she's having!" Our waitress recommended this dish and I'm so glad I was adventurous and tried something different outside of my "I'll judge you based off of your Pad Thai" attitude. It was perfect and when I say perfect, I didn't even add lime juice to it because I didn't want to mess anything up with the flavor profile. Sure, lime could have added another element to the dish but when I say it was perfect the way it was, it's true. The night at Smiley would have ended perfectly if it weren't for the miserable couple who sat beside us discussing how unhappy they were in their marriage and decided to accept the waitstaff into their broken marriage by being completely rude. But the staff remained professional and kind through it all and I give them HUGE props for that because I was a moment away from telling that wretched couple off. In short, the staff here are wonderful, and the food is memorable, delectable, delicious, perfect...it's HEAVEN. We will DEFINITELY be back to try other menu items!
