I've been to this place several times over the years and it's always been good. The staff are friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious. Public Service Announcement -- They aren't closing, but they are moving to Donelson in June 2026. I didn't know until today when we stopped in for lunch. They will be changing the name to Asian Cajun. I will be going to the new spot after they get settled in. That being said I'm going to go ahead and do this review as it's still going to be the same food and owners when they move. This is an Asian/LA seafood fusion restaurant. They serve Thai Apps, Salads, Soups, Wok Fried Noodles, Fried Rice, Stir Fry, Thai Curries, Fresh Shellfish, Sandwiches, weekend Seafood Boils and Boba Teas. They do Catering, also. They also serve some Cajun dishes like Gator Bites, Oysters, Gumbo, Po Boys and more. I will definitely be visiting the new spot in a few months. This is a hidden gem for Thai in the Nashville area. I always get Pad Thai my first time at a new place and did again. My wife had the drunken noodles. Both were really good and the portions were more than enough. The service was very attentive and was making sure all was good. The restaurant is very clean and I love the wall. read more

We moved here in August and this is one of the first places we ordered from. I have never dined in so I can't comment on the ambiance but the food is amazing!! I've ordered the yellow curry multiple times. It's always delicious. The tom kha has great flavor. We also order this everytime. Their pad Thai is consistently good. Everything is consistently good. Tried this place for the first time and I will be going back! The owner was friendly and talked to my husband and I about their beautiful and rare bonsai trees. Simple little Thai spot with decent boba and pretty good peanut pad Thai (could be more flavorful but it's one of the better pad Thais I've had in the Nashville area thus far, unfortunately Nashville's Thai seen just isn't it), but the egg rolls and gyoza were pretty bland. Love this unique place. Owner is so "customer smart" that once they have your phone number, they also record any special instructions you have so the next time you call or come in so they know what you want. For instance, their cashew stir-fry is amazing and i like it with extra veggies including red bell peppers and extra cashews. i don't have to repeat myself every time I call my order specifics come up. Their Tom Ka soup is superb and comes in very generous sizes( a cup is equal to a bowl anywhere else). My extended family also thinks their beef fried rice is the best in Nashville area. Now that they have bought LA seafood and have all those products in the retail side of the restaurant, I can pick up my favorite things all in one stop. This review is strictly for an order I placed through Uber Eats so I do not know anything else besides what I ordered. I attached my receipt so you could see that it was Uber eats and not anything about being inside the restaurant. Let's start with the larb. Unfortunately, it did not taste like the meat had been seasoned at all. It was quite bland and unremarkable. Next, I had the coconut shrimp. The shrimp were nice and toasty, but there was little to no coconut flavor with it. And the amount of dipping sauce only allowed me to dip half the order Into it. It was the highlight of the order. The wings were well sauced and looked like they were gonna be a good bite of food. However, that poor chicken was as dry as a cardboard box. Haven't tried the yakisoba so I cannot comment on that. All of My issues with the food are certainly not because it was delivered. Being in a car does not make chicken dry. I am uncertain if I will try this place again. If I do, it will be by entering the establishment. but what I ordered is probably an indication of what else there is there. read more

I got the green curry, drunken noodles with steak, an order of steamed gyozas, and a few fried egg rolls. The green curry was delish! This is my go to meal when getting Thai food. I looked up this restaurant on Yelp and it got excellent reviews - and I can see why. It's called Tipsy Thai because they also feature a lot of drinks!! What a great meal! We had the fried spring rolls, fresh spring rolls and papaya salad to start. The star was the papaya salad which I had never had before and really wanted to try. The salad "dressing" was super flavorful and well balanced. It was definitely on the spicy side so just be aware of that. For our meals we had the Pad See Ew and the red curry. Both were very tasty. The curry was the best Thai curry I've ever had. The broth was jam packed with flavor and again they're were well balanced. We're only visiting the local area, but if we lived here this would be on our "go-to" list of places to eat! read more

I rarely go south on Mt Juliet Rd, but I remembered passing this place awhile back and thinking to myself I need to remember to come try it out. Well, today I was reminded about as myself and a couple of friends had lunch together. That was a nice touch as I really enjoy a well-cooked fried egg and this one was just that. Crispy edges with a still warm and runny yolk. Since this was a new Thai place for me, I wasn't sure about the selection for spiciness level. They have a 4-level option with the following terms: Mild - Medium - Hot - Thai-Na-Mite For my curry I went with a safe "Hot" for me. My husband and I were able to stop in a few months back. Loved the Thai tea and the Tom Kha. A cute thing is they take a Polaroid of you and put on their wall. They are located in the rural area past Providence down S Mt Juliet road near Stewart's Ferry. It is causal dining with a personal flair. I liked the food and the atmosphere.
