This place is dishonest and will try to lie to your face! Until today, I had been going there for years and ordering the same thing - chicken panang, which is a pumpkin curry dish and I have always ordered it NOT SPICY. And for YEARS this has not been a problem. I went today, ordered the same thing - panang without any spice - NON SPICY-l and my friend ordered hers mild. So what did the man who took out order being back? Two spicy panang orders! I tasted mine and it was AWFUL!! I could tell right away there was a lot of chili spice AFTER I said I couldn't eat that! I had to leave it. Then what was even more unacceptable was that the guy who served us said it had always had spice in it and there was no such thing as NONSPICY!! This man who has served my friend and I for YEARS tried to gaslight us by saying it had never been served any other way when I have eaten it dozens of times and ordered it without spicy. I was so upset I left, appalled by the poor service and the LIES. And I will not be going back again. All they serve up is lies and gaslighting. There are a lot of good Thai restaurants to choose from. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

The customer service is excellent but the food is questionable. I was really looking forward to supporting this business long term but the yellow curry left a lot to be desired! Was running errands tonight, my wife wanted some soup from here. Figured we'd place an order over the phone and stop by in between. We called multiple times and no answer. We thought they might be closed early but we stopped by to check. They were open. Went inside and placed our order. I asked why aren't they answering their phones. The young ladies at the front stated they were too busy to answer the phones. Very unprofessional. Then proceeded to wait 30 minutes for our order to be made. Such an inconvenience that could have been easily resolved. Why have a phone if you're not going to answer it? read more

The food was cold. It tastes bad. The rice was overcooked with no seasoning. The female owner was not friendly at all. She kept looking at us with angry face, however the waitress was so friendly. Over all, the food was not as good as before. I wished they kept the place as small as it used to be. I don't think I am coming back again. We have been eating at Thai Place for many, many years. The only downside was the small dining area. As a family of five, it was difficult to squeeze around a table. If we brought friends, it was nearly impossible. We are delighted that they have expanded the dining area and now have room for larger parties. The food is as good as ever and the prices are reasonable by today's standards. We just had two entrees, rice and two iced teas for about $27 and took home leftovers. The dining area is clean and comfortable and the tables are not jammed together. The service is efficient and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommend. read more

Not enough good things can be said about Thai Place! Staff is extremely nice, food is delicious, and they go out of their way to make sure you have a great meal. We came to celebrate a birthday, after the great tasting food they allowed us to bring in our cupcakes to celebrate. They offered a lighter and boxes for the food, including one for the left over cupcakes. They even played the happy birthday song on their speakers for us. Food Looked good and the only appetizer we tried were the fried Calamari rings. They tasted a bit off, and the thing that made my wife and I walk out was the dirtiest spoons and utensils. Was enough to make us wonder cleanliness and personal hygiene. Unfortunately we walked out without touching anything else and feel bad about the wasted food and supplies of the restaurant. New ownership, the large Asian man that was the host. Was quite offended when I shared with him. My food was burnt. I decided to try to eat it anyways and shared with him after I was done. he told me he would let the chef know. I asked him what could be done. He gave me a 10% discount because I ate the protein and some of the noodles. I shared I would leave a comment he retorted with I hope it's a good one. I returned back to the store ti express my disdain for his lack of compassion for his customer. I know some Asians can become offended if they feel slighted. Which when he was talking in his native language he expressed to the chef. I did ask him a simple question, which was. The chef know when he is serving food that is burnt? Wouldn't it make sense for him or her to remake the food? Lastly, I thought it unprofessional that they would serve it in hopes of me accepting that bird taste on my pallet. I was very offended and more than likely will not return. The heavyset Asian boy-man needs to really reconsider his customer service tactics for the sake of retention of customers. read more

The first piece I ate was literally like rubber, but the second one was ok. The Panang Curry was so-so, but it just didn't have the flavors I am used to. Their food is way too expensive for what you get and the quality of the food. It's like going to a mid-grade place and paying gourmet prices. I know this may not seem like a big deal but I asked the order taker on the phone if there was enough salad dressing for the salad because I usually like a little more than most places give. She told me she would put an extra dressing with my order. I found that the salad comes with two containers and it was plenty. However, she gave me an extra (3rd one) and never told me she was going to charge me $2.50 for a little thing of dressing. Had I known it comes with 2 dressings anyhow, then I would not have asked for a 3rd, especially for $2.50 more. It had been many years since I have been here and they are about as average as before, but with exorbitant prices. Saw only old menu posted on Yelp so I thought I should take more recent ones newer than 4 years ago! LOL. Only 15 to 20 minutes to be ready. Nice! Arrived there and my order was prepared. Showed the 5% off for checking in Yelp. The restaurant is tiny so you have to stand in front of the cash register until they hand you your food to go. They could use a little bit of renovation inside for decor. It seemed a bit crowded tonight because it's a weekend. Yellow Curry Chicken - my family's favorite! Perfect in flavor and not spicy at all. Plus, they give you a small size white rice to go with it. Plus, we ordered shrimp fried rice. Don't expect a lot of shrimp for this, although it tasted good. Then lastly, the chicken chow mein. I should've ordered my favorite pad see ew with chicken. I wasn't particularly impressed with the chow mein. I've tasted better chow mein.
