I WILL NOT coming back. I've been loyal and coming since 2015, if not longer. Spent quite large amount of food throughout the years. Spent $$$$. Now, I will stop coming just over "one item"! I ordered over the phone Pad See Ew "2 stars". What I received was unbearable to eat. Extremely spicy, I believe the cook ACCIDENTALLY put another set or two extra set of chilli in the cooking. To be honest, I can eat spicy food even if there is 6 stars. So, I called the restaurant and mentioned nicely that we are unable to eat it at all, is it possible to get the replacement? The Manager / the Owner argued with me the matter of fact whoever took the order typed 3 stars. (I ordered for 2 stars) and on and on... She said: 1. "Their maximum spiciness is 4 stars. So 3 stars can be like 4 stars for some people. So, if customer can't handle the heat, there is no way we can replace it." 2. She also said, "You ever ordered 3 stars before, and you had no complained about it that time. So it is not our fault if you can't eat it now." I replied, "Because the first time, the spiciness is on the right amount. This time, it doesn't make sense at all!" 3. Last thing, she said, "You should've brought back the food so we can replace it on the same day." Who wants to drive back all the way there just to prove it they are wrong? I should've relax and eat our dinner! If she wanted to replace it, most likely, I would've drive there and bought four more items or so -not just getting one item. I would give honest review only. I never wanted to take advantage of free food. I mentioned it nicely, even until the end of the conversation, I kept my cool. But I was shocked one sentence after another that she said to me. We had couple of options to choose from once we decided it's Thai for dinner. Since we never have been to this place, naturally inclined to try a new place. Was there around 7.30 - quite a late dinner. Only couple of tables were occupied. The lady who welcomed us gave a cozy seat near the corner. That came with a great advantage - we had out chitchat going without disturbing anyone. Looking at their menu - fabulous. So many options. It's hard to pick. We started with Shirley temple and mango iced soda while we explored the menu. Finally ordered chicken rice bowl, Green curry with vegetables and Fried rice with tofu. More than 10 mins of delay for the food to arrive. We weren't crazy hungry, so it wasn't a big deal. The food arrived one by one. We ordered some extra steamed rice as well. Portion seems to be ok. Not huge, but adequate. The chicken rice bowl was delicious. So as the curry. Nothing explosive, but great flavors. We really enjoyed the food. Also ordered a cheesecake with homemade mango ice cream for dessert as well. Ambiance of this place is amazing. Dimmed lights, well decored place. Great place for a dine-in. Service was great for us. Delivery review In short One of the better Thai places around up here. We got a lot of 'em and this one still comes out near the top. In long We checked out a few dishes that we often use to get a sense of what makes a Thai place what it is--stuff we try at most Thai places to see what's different and what's familiar. Red curry Big tender chunks of chicken, decent amount of crunchy veg. Very rich and thick sauce. Not sure if this is from scratch or from a paste, but the flavors are very familiar and very good. Crying tiger Lots of crunchy lettuce and other veg, nice tender slices of steak. Ordered at the top of their spice scale and had a nice kick. One of the better ones offered around here. Rama noodle Nice rich peanut sauce on the side, chewy noodles, tasty chicken and veg. Fairly conventional as these things go but definitely welcome on my table anytime. read more

In quick summary, this is about POOR SERVICE. Been here many times. It's average white people thai food. Pretty much like most of these places are these days. Now and then we get a younger waitress (can I use that word?) who is not very friendly on average and a little less so this time. Decided to try some soup called Thom Zap Kha, or something like that. Because my wife can't eat, we have to be very careful when ordering. So I asked the waitress if the soups had gluten in them. One older waitress said no at first, but then I corrected her on the won ton, which is obviously wheat based pasta. Then the younger waitress waits on us and tells me that all of the soups can be made GF. I asked if that would affect the taste noticeably. She didn't really answer the question straight forward (partly due to her poor english). I should have not ordered. The Thom Zap soup was disgusting. I can't even describe the flavor. It was bland but bitter and weird. We each took 1-2 tastes of the broth and pushed the soup and bowl's to the end of the table, obviously a visual clue that we didn't want it. I kept looking in the direction of the waitress to get her attention and I could see she looked at the soup and bowls pushed outward. Not one time, did she or anyone come to ask how our meal was. It was obvious she knew we didn't care for the soup. Finally after finishing up the pedestrian pad thai, she comes over and asks if we want to take the remainders home. I said no and that we did not care at all for the soup. She didn't say a word and brought us the bill. Didn't offer to reduce the cost, comp us, ask if we wanted something else. Nothing. Also...no thank you, smiles or courtesy whatsoever. I think for the first time ever, I left ZERO TIP. We will not go back again and I will let other people know about this event. Food is average on their best day, service is usually minimal, and some of them like the younger gal is plain snotty and arrogant. These Thai places have become like terriyaki and mexican, they're everywhere and blah tasting. You should at least get good service out of it. read more

As I travel through Washington State, I was recommended a great Thai place by relatives called Thai Bistro Mill Creek, 1018 164th St SE, Ste A14, Mill Creek, WA 98012. So I took the relatives out for lunch. This is a family run restaurant that had very nice decor and was very clean. I ordered my favorites-Thai noodles, shrimp curry, egg rolls, and the best Thai ice tea I ever had. The relatives each ordered their own favorites, and when we were done, there was plenty left over to take home (Yes, the portions were huge). The service was outstanding! The woman, who I believe to be the owner, was so polite and attentive to our needs. The only negative thing about this experience was that they didn't have deep fried banana, my favorite go-to at Thai restaurants. However, I am not going to hold this against them as the experience and quality of the food was 5 stars plus. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant. read more

Yes, they have a lot of the standby favourites that we all know and love. Their yellow chicken curry, pad prig khing, pad Thai are all stellar, solids. But you really need to try some of the other items. The Grilled Pork comes with a sublime jaew sauce and pairs perfectly with sticky rice. Miang Khum, Mee Khob and Mom's Special are not to be missed. Plus, they just expanded their menu to have even more street food (my fav in any cuisine!) I've always gotten food as takeaway / to-go and they've always been quick, carefully packed and have never had an order that was missing something. This Thai restaurant is a good choice. I'm a little put off by their ordering process when having a dine-in meal ... like many restaurants, they have a QR code at the table to scan and read the menu, but Thai Bistro takes it another step by making you order from that menu and pay as if you were getting a to go order. You have to complete payment before the order is placed. I was a bit annoyed because what if I wanted to add a dessert or another glass of wine, or I wanted to adjust the tip? Well, I guess you just start over. Seems a bit impersonal and disinterested. I know everyone thinks we have to "keep safe" post-Covid, but this isn't to my liking, and there are so many other restaurants who don't do this. Having said that, the portions are plentiful, more than enough for a meal. The food was hot, fresh, and seasoned well. I ordered 4 stars and I expected tingling tongue and a runny nose, but got neither. Either I'm getting used to spicy Asian foods or their star rating is a bit muted.
