Nice little spot! I crave Thai tea constantly and this is the best I've had in SLC since moving here! I've never had the rice in mango sticky rice before green, but I'm assuming it's normal and I just haven't had it before because it tasted fine! Mangoes were a bit sour but it is October so honestly that's to be expected. The woman who gave me my takeout was very nice!

This pad Thai and crab wontons (not pictured) were so good. I ordered my spice level at 4 and loved it. It was so flavorful. The portion is super generous. So generous I saved a scoop for my lunch the next day. Highly recommend! I will be back!

We got the food for take out and the food was prepared very quickly within the 15-20 min time frame that was provided. We didn't specify the spice level and therefore no spice was included. Order: -Pad thai: HUGE portion. Super generous and included the very classic ingredients of bean sprouts and topped with peanuts -Pad see ew: Good flavors and had wok hei (smokey flavor). There's a slight sweetness and it was enjoyable. -Papaya salad: Very refreshing and enjoyed the crunchy texture of the papaya. The veggies were nice to cut down on the carbs from the noodles. The host was so nice. They even included some plain sticky rice which was thoughtful. I would recommend for a cheap eat with good flavors.

Let me just preface this by saying I am a flight attendant and have eaten Thai food in many places. Usually the same thing to find the best one lol but this place conveniently located 3mins from my house is one of my favorites, especially in SLC. I get the pas see ew and I get my husband the pad thai. Prices as far as eating out is standard, great for the amount of food given. Atmosphere is more hole in the wall and you can tell it's family owned. Otto (the owner) is fricken awesome and so nice and even though I've only been here a handful of times spanning several months, he remembers me. I'm sure I'll be able to walk in and say "hey Otto my usual" and he'll know exactly what I want anyways great option for Thai lovers. Ps don't show up on a Tuesday night bc you're craving it only to find out they're closed bc you decided on a whim and forgot to check the hours lmaoo

Hit and miss. I feel like I keep ordering "the wrong thing" here, but it's happened a few times. Usually I regret not choosing what someone else ordered that is slightly better and I am disappointed with my own meal. I got orange chicken, which was a large box full of tough, dry fried chicken with no apparent sauce on it, though when I dig down the the bottom there appeared to be a small amount of some clear, very liquid-y orange flavored stuff at the bottom. Not great. I also ordered thom kha gai soup, it was pretty good but I found the lemongrass much stronger, and the coconut milk much thicker than the other thom kha soups I've had in the past, it was tasty in an extremely strong way, but didn't sit too easily on the stomach. I tasted a little bit of "garlic meat" (beef, in this case) from the menu and it was pretty good. I have only ordered takeout from this location and the staff are always really friendly and the food is ready so quickly. I would love to leave a shining review, but the food just isn't doing it for me.

Cute little restaurant. Family owned. Friendly people. Got take out. Fresh spring rolls freshly made with shrimp. Green chicken curry. So good!!! Flavorful. Pad Thai with chicken spicy. Can't wait to come back.

Pad thai with too much chili pepper
    Ed M.

Ordered pad thai via Uber Eats. I selected spice level 2 out of 5 and it is way too spicy to eat. Recommend you don't order take out, but eat in. Then you can send it back if they over do it with the chili pepper.

Sooooooo good! The green curry reminds me exactly of what I had in Poipu, Kauai. The flavor is amazing.

We had 2 babies and I arranged the high chairs myself which I didn't mind, the server looked very busy by then. For many years they occupied a detached building facing 7200 south. But a couple of years ago, they moved into the strip mall directly to the south of their original location. Their spice levels can be off the charts so I'd advise starting with a level 2 of spice. Otherwise the food can be overly spicy. I recently tried their Swai Choo Chee, a white fish in the catfish family. It was really flavorful and the curry in which it was served was a change from the usual green curry I typically order. The staff is friendly and very polite and being Thai natives, they know how to make the food correctly. I will continue to support Chabaar when I'm in Midvale and only wish it was in an area closer to my home.

My friends on Yelp recommended Fav, so why not give it another try. On a weeknight at 5pm, we were the first dinner customers and were seated right away. The atmosphere was clean, but a bit dated, with lots of plants. A few overgrown vines out front were even trying to sneak in the door. The staff was understated and polite. We ordered our usual to share. The food was delivered promptly and was fresh and nicely presented. The Pad Thai had an excellent flavor and neither greasy nor too sweet. We added shrimp and it came with some mixed in and 3 tempura fried on the side. Nice touch since you pay a premium. The Massaman came with about one cup of rice, so we ordered more. It wasn't my favorite. I prefer a creamier curry, I didn't love the deep fried tofu, and would have liked more vegetables. The Pineapple Fried Rice was attractively served in a half pineapple, we added tofu. But, the flavor was a bit blah. I enjoyed the fresh pineapple in it, but it lacked a lot of other add ins and didn't really wow us. We tried 4 cookies, made in-house, for dessert. They have very creative flavors, but unfortunately they were a bit dry and didn't leave us coming back for more. Overall, a fair feast, but it may be another few years before I try it again.
