What a great find! Unassuming from the outside and the best Thai food I have had in Arizona. The owners are so very, very welcoming and genuinely happy to be a part of your dining experience. They will happily explain everything on the menu and make modifications for you if you want. I have had several different dishes there and they were all so delicious. I always make sure that I taste hubby's food, too, (just because ) and there is nothing that I would change. Everything is delicious and cooked perfectly. The prices are very reasonable, too. Overall, pretty impressive Thai food. We ordered shrimp pad Thai, chicken drunken noodles (pad ke mow), and pork (pad ka prao) spicy fried rice, along with fried egg rolls. We shared the entrees to sample everything. The egg rolls were good, but I didn't so much like all of the cabbage in them (I usually get Thai or Vietnamese rolls without cabbage). The pad Thai noodles seemed a little plain compared to what I'm used to, but still good. *Our favorite entrees - the pad ke mow was full of flavor from the basil, bell peppers, and from the wok. The chicken was not moist, but a delicious dish, nontheless. The spicy fried rice was the first I have found in Arizona that was done how I am used to getting it in Dallas. This was because of the red and green bell peppers, onions and basil with cucumber on the side. This dish was also bursting with flavor, and actually had a pretty good kick for only being a level 3 spicy. Additionally, the pork was juicy and tender. I would say that it is worth the drive from Prescott. The fried rice and drunken noodles were as good or better than anything that I have found in Arizona, including my favorite place in Phoenix. Those two dishes were also on par with some of my favorite places in Dallas, where there are many good Thai restaurants to choose from. NEVER DISAPPOINTED. Sure its a hole in the wall, 30 minute drive from prescott, but I would make the drive everyday, it is so worth it! Best thai food outside of any major city! My go to favorites are the cream cheese wontons and chicken pad thai. We have tried many of their dishes, my boyfriends favorite is the pad se ew. Being from LA, we were hesitant to try Thai food here in Chino Valley. So glad we gave this try. Some of the Best Thai food we have EVER had. Highly recommend Coconu soup, Chicken Satay and Pad Thai. Really good, & I like the choice of "heat" so there's something for a timid palate or someone who wants to clear their sinuses! (Me) Its a shame the whole building/strip is kind of dumpy, not the best impression, but its like what you'd see on Food Network "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives", a less than impressive outside, with great food inside. Good and tasty food, but just average Thai food. I say average as the better Thai places leave this place in the weeds. I suppose it could be that they have decided to make their Thai food more agreeable to the masses, but the result is food that is more similar to Chinese takeout then Thai. Not as fresh, and light as really good Thai food. With that said, the food is tasty. Just don't expect it to compare if you have ever had top shelf Thai food previously. If you go in expecting food more like typical Chinese food takeout, then you will probably be fine. One other note. They keep reducing the days they are open, and have increased their prices considerably, possibly to compensate for limiting their days they are open (Tues thru Fri only). Charge more for less is the new business model for them. It's a shame, as I really think they are nice people. But I feel like they are making less of an effort more and more. Might be due to the owners getting older, but I feel less appreciated than ever with this place. They used to offer a small indoor dining area, but now it's takeout only. Since Chino has less competition, they have been able to get by with this, but I'm growing weary of this as a result. read more

Was in the area for work so decided to stop by for a quick bite to eat. Holy cow the fried rice was amazing!! The customer service was also top notch. I'll most definitely be going by this place again when I'm around the area. It's a little awkward getting into the parking lot due to the round about but well worth it. This will become my go to Thai restaurant. If you like Toi Thai Restaurant you'll recognize the host (Mark). The food is as yummy as it gets, and the entire staff works to make your visit special. We were there at lunch (11:00am) and ordered three dinner entrees. Beef salad, Pad Kee Mao and Spicy Eggplant. Large portions, but this party of two just about finished all three entrees. They also DO take credit cards now. The interior is spotless and tastefully decorated (un cluttered). We live in Williamson Valley and plan to head over once a week at least. Mark travels to Vegas weekly to pick up fresh Thai veggies and it shows. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. read more

The waiter was one of the friendliest I have ever encountered - when it came to the food we tried the potstickers, fresh wrap rolls (spring rolls), pineapple fried rice, and Pad Thai. The Pad Thai had different heat levels to choose from 1-5. We had a selection of 2 and 5. The 2nd one on the scale had a wonderful sweet taste. The number 5 for me was a perfect balance of taste and heat, there was burn but also a lot of flavor from the beef. We were worried that we wouldn't be able to find any good Asian food in the area, but Thai Spot is the place. We started with pot stickers that had an amazing sauce. I ordered the BBQ chicken and my husband had the Pad Thai with chicken. We were both more than satisfied with our choices. Next time we plan to come for lunch, which is only $8. This place is great in every way. I hate asking for "very spicy" and get the bland "Americanized type stuff." NOT HERE! You actually get spicy and tasty food. This place is much better since the new owners took over. Food is very well priced for the quality. It is nice to get something new into our little rural community that isn't another corporate fast food chain. My wife and I probably go here on a weekly or at least semi weekly basis. This is the best Thai food in quad cities. Bar none. As good as our fav Thai restaurant in Seattle. Seriously. My husband's favorite dish is the Thai BBQ chicken dinner...1/2 a chicken and as tender, juicy and flavorful as they come. Yummy! Coming from Orange County CA where there is amazing food on every corner I wasn't expecting to find a Thai restaurant in CV nor was I expecting it to be any good and it blew me away! They were willing to make me a custom order and it was just as good as any Thai place form Cali! I will continue to order from here all the time and recommend it to anyone looking for something other then Mc Donald's, Taco Bell or some mexican food made out of canned beans and unseasoned frozen meats. read more
