Food was ok. However, customer service was lacking. When we arrived it was not busy at all, just our table and one other. Our drinks were never refilled and we were never asked if we needed anything else. 2 employees were just chatting by the corner and then another 2 having a chat by the bar. No one ever checked on us. We would have liked to try desert or get some more drinks. This would NOT be a good place for a friend's night or date night where you may require extra time for conversations. I hadn't seen my childhood friend in a long time, we had finished our meal and were just catching up. Granted, yes, we were there for almost 2 hours, we would have left earlier if the place seemed busy; but it wasn't. We were actually told they needed our table for a reservation which was weird considering we didn't see any other customers and the entire middle section was empty, 3 bench seating tables on the opposite side were empty and of course the 3 tables on our side were empty. Why weren't those tables used? The place was not busy. At the time we left there was a dirty not yet cleaned table from a couple that left previously, 2 families at the bench seating at the opposite wall and a guy sitting at the bar stools. We were a quiet pair and had not been drinking. We didn't have a problem leaving but they could have suggested seating us at the bar counter or at anytime coming over to ask if we needed anything else. Again, we would have loved to order dessert or try some alcoholic beverages. No one ever came to check on us. I understand them wanting to clear tables for incoming costumers that's money for them and tips. But again, they were not busy, had they bothered to talk to us we would have ordered deserts and drinks. When my friend and I finally do have a chance to dine and catch up on life we can spend hours at a restaurant sometimes even ordering lunch and dinner. We have never been asked to leave before and we both tip exceedingly well as we know we are taking up their time. We are both very aware of our surroundings and know when to leave if we see a place getting super busy. However, that was not the case here. read more

We loved the sushi from there. The rice was so nice and perfect for the sushi. The actual sushi meat and fillings melts in your mouth. Definitely would eat there again. The only problem with the service is that it takes longer than normal, it takes a while before you get your stuff but if you're patient you'll be fine. We don't live close so eating here is rare. Over the past 5 years we've enjoyed Thai Square Sushi 3-4 times. It's has always been fresh and delicious. Green salad is cold and crisp as it should be with a tasty ginger dressing. Edamame was fresh. Not dry or mushy. Just right and hot when it arrived. I had red curry with chicken for the first time. Made with coconut milk, it's a little sweet, but still really good. Chicken was a tad dry, but not bad. Service was prompt and pleasant with just enough attention to keep water glasses filled etc. We will be back. Just wish we lived closer to visit more often. read more

The food was delicious but the service was terrible. My son first request after being away from home for 6 months was sushi. So there was real money to be made this day. The kids ate so much of the sushi(again top notch) that my wife and I hardly had anything to eat. Since the service was so slow we decided to leave instead of ordering more food for ourselves. We left hungry with a 3 hour drive ahead of us to get back home. So we stopped at sonic for $30 after spending well over $120 at a quality sushi restaurant. Would have been an easy $400 not including tip, but they gave a new guy with nobody training him. He had only been there a week. The service was very superb; all the waitresses were very nice and attentive. Along with that the food was also very good, they also have a large variety of Asian cuisine to choose from. One thing I noticed which I found funny was that the sign above the sushi bar area reads "愛してる" or "aishiteru" which means "I love you", although the English translation they put above the Japanese was aishitemasu, which is the formal way to say it and it doesn't reflect the actual writing on the board, it doesn't really matter but it's a small detail one might miss if they don't speak any Japanese read more

Thursday evening a few weeks ago we were craving Chinese from a local establishment. Unfortunately, their wait time for TAKEOUT was one hour, so we had to decide on something else, and quickly because we were starving. I raced through Yelp in a blur looking through all the other tired options, until I saw Thai Square Sushi. I had never seen it before, but after I skimmed through the pics I knew I wanted to check it out. To our surprise the restaurant was very nice, not just a casual Asian takeout restaurant. The menu was interesting with several unique options and a wide variety of sushi. We started with edamame and the BBQ duck steamed buns. Edamame is simple enough, but all the other place must be doing it wrong because it was better here than all the others! The steamed buns were a delicious option as well. Between us we ordered the Sakura Shrimp and the hibachi ribeye steak, both accompanied with miso soup and steamed white rice, which were great. The two entrees were made with such care and precision. The proteins were cooked perfectly and the veggies were perfectly cooked and still crisp, no soggy veggies. Because they were so fresh the flavor they had was fantastic. The Sakura Shrimp had a spicy and sweet sauce that was delicious, especially with the white steamed rice. The ribeye (served in cubes) was my favorite. The outside of the steak was charred beautifully while keeping the inside at medium done. Super flavorful and something I would definitely come back for. read more

The service is great, atmosphere is casual but elegant. Prices aren't too cheap, but the food is worth it. Sumo Roll is $15. The Rock Shrimp is my favorite appetizer. Took my sushi loving daughter for lunch at this new restaurant. Located in a strip mall but surprisingly hip interior. Nice ambiance, lighting, art & tableware. Real chopsticks, not disposable. We had the chicken curry bento box, for miso soup, house salad with ginger dressing, gyoza, California roll & killer fried rice. The rice was loaded with veggies & chicken. Also had the 3 roll lunch & you can choose soup or salad. Curry was creamy & fresh, very nice flavor. Not the biggest portion but with all the extras it was more than enough. Asked spice level preference 1-10 & we asked for 5. Was fairly mild, I would have called it a 2-3. But if it's too hot it's a problem, so best to err in that direction. It was by no means bland. Outstanding service by Robbie. Attentive, water always full, plates cleared promptly & check dropped quickly. Stellar waiter with a great smile & happy demeanor.
