Placed an order for takeout, I ordered mango and sticky rice, and Thai tea with boba. I was 7 months pregnant and I was with my 2 year old daughter. I decided I wanted to stay and eat my mango and enjoy my drink. I asked the waitress for a table and she looked at me like I was crazy, then she sits me at a table, I ask for a booth and she hesitated and told me they were for customers only. I Was A PAYING CUSTOMER. Being pregnant with a toddler a booth would work perfectly for me. Oh and were they busy? NOPE. Not at all. There were probably 2 other small parties at the restaurant. So many open booths but she hesitated to give me a booth, she made me so uncomfortable, I just decided to leave. Then to make things worse, I get home and taste my mango and sticky rice and it's by far the worst mango and sticky rice I've ever had. Won't be back here FOR SURE! Crappy customer service! This place is not difficult to find but the food is about the same with other restaurants. The price is more expensive . For example pad kee mow is close to $10 to take out. I've been looking for a legit Thai food restaurant in Corona to go to because I'm originally from DT Long Beach. This spot has a delicious chicken coconut soup, pad Thai was delicious, and their sate chicken had your mouth watering. Majority of the dishes are below $10. The only complaint that I have was the fried rice. I didn't like the oil that they used to fry it. Will def be coming back to this spot. read more

When I first moved to Riverside a few years ago, this was the first restaurant I ate at. I believe the owners have change recently. So this is for the new homie. Their seafood tom yum was damn good. The waiter asked if we wanted the traditional style broth and I was like don't mind if we do!... great decision. Perfectly balanced flavor of sour, sweet, and orgasm. Hubby & I had been looking forward for a while to eating at this thai place based on the other review, but after eating here, we wouldn't go back, only because it was not that great. We're convinced that the best places to go for thai food remain Thai Chile in Orange and Thai Nakorn, or perhaps Golden Triangle in Whittier. (We love thai food and have it often, by the way.) We ate here today with my brother, and I wish I could say it was better, but seriously it was just average. And not that it was bad - it was just average. We each had a lunch special that came with an entree, salad, rice, and egg roll. I in addition had a thai iced tea w/boba. I had the shrimp pad thai for my entree on my lunch special. First of all, I should say that the salad was good (average - just your iceberg lettuce and a few carrot shreds with a clear tangy dressing). I thought the fried rice should have been much better though. It was a small, soft & steamy mound, which looked like steamed rice and had the texture of steamed rice, but with a subtle pinkish color to it. (I don't know, but I would just think that for 'fried rice', it should be more of a 'fried' rice texture and color *at least*, if not just toss in a couple small veggies(?)). The egg roll was good - your average egg roll, and had a nice, crispy, non-greasy texture to it. It was very small though. Which now brings me to the entrees: I have seriously had a lot better pad thai. The shrimp in it was good (thai places for the most part know how to do their shrimp well - all tender and flavorful, and this place was no exception in that department), but the noodles had too much sauce for my taste, and the taste of the sauce was very sweet and had a ketchupy flavor to it, which I did not like that quality about it.. I tried to make out even a subtle nuance of another flavor lingering in the background (such as fish sauce), but could not. It was just the noodles with the ketchupy tasting sauce. And what happened to having some bean sprouts on the side (or in it)? (or shredded carrot, for that matter?) Where was the crushed peanuts, the lime or lemon on the side? So all in all, the pad thai was a real disappointment to me, although certainly not the worst I've ever had. Hubby and my brother both had the beef panang, which I took a taste of. It was 'good' in the sense that we love thai food, but 'not real good' in the sense that it was just your average panang. It seemed like the care they took in the preparation of it was just enough to 'get by', but not like it really left a good impression or anything. My brother has had a little thai food before and liked it, but hubby & I both agreed we have had much better panang before at some other places. The last comment I have is (oddly enough) about the thai iced tea. I LOVE thai iced tea, btw! This one was too sweet (compared to others - which are sweet, but not TOO sweet); but the real complaint I have with it is that - and I have no idea why - but the boba would not go up the straw!! Seriously, I know you have to suck the boba up through the big straw and usually it just goes up, so I don't know if they just need to get wider straws or a little smaller boba or what, but something in the equation was not right, lol! I was sucking w/all my might and all the bobas in the straw would not budge; hubby tried it sucking with all his might and had the same experience - this was with multiple boba balls -- the straw was like caving in around each boba ball! - and after sucking for a long time w/all our might, it would finally slowly come to the top and out, but then when you would try to suck more the same thing would happen all over again. I was like digging into my drink with the spoon, which got tiresome, so eventually I gave up and just drank the tea without the boba. :-( so that was a bummer. (I have never had that happen before.) So I do feel deprived that I was not able to have the boba experience with the tea! :-( All in all, we enjoy personally going to better thai places, so I think in the future we will just frequent those, that's the reason we probably won't come here again. But yeah, it was okay - it was average. :) read more

Woohoo! A good Thai restaurant in Corona! If you're in or live in the area then make sure to stop by here! A couple of friends and I decided to venture out to Corona's more ethnic eateries and were not disappointed. The lunch specials are especially really worth it. My friend got the Pad Thai and I got the Pad See Yew, both of which were really yummy. The specials come with salad, an egg roll (which I didn't care too much for), rice (white or fried), soup, and your entree. It's plenty enough to stuff one person. The Pad See Yew is definitely one of the better that I've tried and for a fraction of the price, with the lunch specials ranging from $7-9. Next time I'll make sure to try the red curry which also seems delicious! read more

I love this place. Excellent Thai dishes and the seasoning is perfect. I eat a lot of Thai food since I eat a vegan diet and this is one of the best places around! I like the "beef" salad, but I have them serve it with fried tofu instead, it's excellent. The only change I would make is to have romaine lettuce instead of iceberg. read more

After reading the reviews, decided to try it! While there was nothing really magic about the "Magic Salmon," the green curry was delectable!! The seasoning and the taste was right on!! You have your choice of meat (chicken, pork, or beef). Aside from having to pay an extra dollar for white rice (or $2 for brown rice), we are definitely curry fans. read more

Somewhat hidden if you don't pay attention. During my first visit I came in 10 min after their lunch special, needless to say I was upset because I was late... yeah I was a jerk. On the positive end, after dealing with my ego I went in a second time and tried their all you can eat. About $20, it was very good. They present you their uncooked meat in which you do all the cooking in your own personal open fire grill. I suggest you take it easy on the water or soda if you want to fully appreciate the meal. I did feel a bit pressured to eat allll of my food because of their "uneaten food policy" (similar to all you can eat sushi). This thai place is definitely the worst Thai Food place I have ever been too. Their service is garbage, while also still being able to maintain definitely the worst Pad Thai any human has been able to conjure up. It tastes like they took Heinz Ketchup and Mixed it with vinegar, gargled it in the back of their throats and spit it onto some noodles that were boiled in sink water. And not to mention the delicious two for one! Thats right folks if you order the Pad Thai you get another side of soup! But dont worry about clutter from bulky packaging they just pour it into the bag with your pad thai! Or maybe thats just the watery sauce trying to escape the putrid smell of this dish. Rude ladies made fun of my fiancée behind the counter because their opinion matters working at a Thai Food hole in the wall, BUT its okay because the cashier was delightful and shes your Jesus Christ in this Thai Disaster. The only reason I am making this review is too make sure no one ever orders this pad thai or even thinks twice about visiting but if you want good customer service then the cashier is definitely a plus one. This was a pretty random spot for Thai food. One of my friends lives by corona an wanted to try this place. Overall it was pretty damn good except pricey for not that much food. I guess quality is better than quality. Ordered their sampler appetizer which wad good. Got pad see ew, pra ram (beef with a peanut sauce), green curry all pretty good. So we go here pretty often when we want to have a quiet dinner with delicious food options. Everything on the menu ranges from $7.95- $10ish depending if you would prefer seafood in your entree. The quality and portion is always consistant and have not fail to deliver. We always order about 3 entrees and a pot of rice to share, all for about $31 with tips. Lunches are as fantastic, and the portion is just right for lunch--not too much not too little. Lunches are $6.95- $8ish. The place is a little hard to find considering it is hidden behind a few other stores (gas station and Greek's Burger). The restaurant itself is also very small but clean. Items I have tried: -Spicy Basil Leaves (beef/med spicy)- my absolute favorite! I always order this every single time I pay a visit. The beef is stir fried with green chilies, green/red bell peppers and onions. So sooo good! If there's left over, save the sauce! I stir fry in some extra green bell peppers or Chinese broccoli to increase the portion. -Pad See Ew (beef): piping hot and perfect flavored every time. Not too sweet, and the noodles is nice and chewy which is the texture I prefered. Perfect left over for the next day, I actually save some on purpose and stir fry in some extra Chinese broccoli--turns out as fantastic as eating it in the restaurant. -Pineapple Fried Rice (chicken)- I love the curry powder seasoning in this fried rice. A nice portion to share. -Pad Thai (chicken)- yummy, a good balance of veggies and noodles. Not my favorite though. -Red Curry (chicken)- so good!! Full of green beans, bamboo, and chicken! Not too creamy or salty. -Yellow Curry (chicken)- boyfriend loves this simply because it has potatoes, but I prefer the red curry. -Green Papaya Salad- fresh and delicious! Can be a light dinner if you're not too hungry. Heads up: it does smell a tad bit like fish sauce due to the seasoning. -Fried Catfish with a Peanut Sauce- the peanut in the sauce put me off at first so I asked for it on the side, however, it was really good. -Fried Tofu with Peanut Dipping Sauce- the sauce is to die for. -Tom Yun Goong hot pot- nice and sour and spicy with great seasoning, though I wished they add more veggies in it.
