Rude service, rushed to make a decision! Why? I'm the only person here. 6:13pm 7/16/13 I will never go back to this place!!! The Phad Thai was just okay, the House Fried rice was awful, it tasted old and was cold, not long enough in the microwave people. Waitress claimed that it was made at 3:00 this afternoon, didn't taste like it. The Thai Iced Tea was good and the mild to spicy condiments were good. Not a reason to go back. It was very disappointing as it is so close to were I live. If anybody knows a great Thai restaurant in the local Corona/Riverside area please send me a note via Yelp. It Is for sure a good Thai food joint in Corona. The lunch menu is good and plenty of food for the price. Less than $8.00. I had the Chicken Pad Thai and my wife the curry chicken. We asked to be mild spicy, good enough to eat comfortably and be able to taste the ingredients of the the food. So they did it the way we like it. Decoration is simple but customer service is great. I like this place, I don't do a lot of Thai but what I like they do well. It's not at all fancy, what I immagine homemade thai food would be like. The prices are resonable and the waitress are very nice and always remember us when we go. I had the green curry at medium spice (1 thru 10 - ten being the hottest) The vegetables were fresh and the curry was tasty. I placed a to go order for two pad Thais, one chicken and one beef, for me and my brother. I initially thought the food was reasonably priced until I got home and actually saw what I ordered. I was wrong. It was not reasonably priced! When I got home and opened up the container, I found myself arguing with my brother about how many small pieces of beef were in the dish. I said 4, he said 3. Yes, we argued about how much beef was in the dish. The chicken pad Thai didn't seem to have the same problem so I don't know what went wrong with the order of beef. Maybe that was just a bad day for beef. The taste of the food was nothing special either, which made it even more frustrating that there was no beef. When Thai Ice Tea closed down we were so bummed, but then we found Thai Star BBQ and everything was better. The Magic Salmon is my delicious favorite. My hubby always goes for the Yellow Chicken Curry and they make the best Chicken Satay. I do admit their Pad Thai's not the best I've ever had, but the rest of the food makes up for it. Give the Orange Chicken and the Fried Wontons a try as well. The service is always good & Ron is such a great cook. We've been going here for 4-5 years at least, and the food is always good. The Chicken Sate and the Coconut Soup are my favorites. Pad Thai, Fried Rice, Rad Na are all very authentic. I used to go to Saladang a lot when I lived near there and this place is just as good, plus it is so close to home. They have lunch specials till 3p (I believe) and it holds an entertaining variety. We ordered Pad Thai, sole-fish in green curry and calamari. Complementary egg drop soup with lunch specials? And it's great tasting (and not watered down) too? The food gods are pleased. Plate turnover is spectacular. When the soup was finished, it's like they knew and would come out of the corner and politely ask if we're done. Same with the calamari and other dishes. The calamari is a 3 star in my opinion but still good. Our main course comes and we try it. At medium spicy, my mouth informed me, "This is legit Thai food because their spice gauge is a notch higher than mine..." The fish was soft and well cooked. Lucky? I'll have to comeback to reassure a consistency in performance. They have a brown rice instead of white rice option. My food came with a salad and an eggroll as well.
