I tried this based on the yelp reviews. I'm glad I did. The Won Ton soup was the best I've ever had. I would have been happy only having that and nothing else. I made a MAJOR mistake when I ordered the food "very" spicy. It was way too hot for me, and I like hot food. It was a rookie mistake on my part I would suggest ordering your dish of choice "mildly" spiced. That way, you'll be able to enjoy the other spices they give you add to your food. It's a very quiet restaurant and a nice place to talk. I think a little quiet background music would improve the atmosphere even more. I don't live in the area, but I'm ever out that way again, I will go back...and order my food "mildly" spiced. read more

I have tried and enjoyed many items on the menu but my wife and I usually order the following: Appetizer: House Tempura (includes delicious and plenty of fried shrimp and fried various vegetables) Main Course: we always get the Green curry with fish lunch/dinner special. So savory and delicious with great fish, green beans, bamboo shoots and peppers in a coconut curry sauce. The specials come with soup (I order it extra piping hot) salad, egg roll and rice. I ordered a lunch portion of Mongolian beef, & an order of sweet & sour chicken for my son. The chicken was delicious, crunchy and fresh. The beef however had a funky smell and taste, like it had been the fridge for too long and needed to be thrown away. I'm pretty sure the cook realized this (anyone with a nose that cooks can notice the smell of rotting meat), but decided to serve it anyway. That's unfortunate because it puts a human life at risk. Wow! This place is definitely a hidden gem! I found this restaurant luckily after getting a massage right next door. I'm always skeptical of Thai restaurant chicken meat because majority around the area taste like rubber, fake, and not chicken with NO seasoning. This place is NOT like that! The chicken in the dishes I ordered were all seasoned and actually TASTE like real meat. They have vegetarian fried eggrolls which were delicious! The soup was also amazing! So far I have been here twice and have had no issues with the quality, taste, and presentation. Most other places have this nice cucumber sweet/spicy sauce. this place just had sauce. Spicy Squid Salad (not on menu, they made it special for me.) Decent spicy citrus flavor. they did however use powdered chilies for extra spice. I guess most places are doing that now to save on cost. I would have preferred fresh cut chilies. Pad Thai = not to soggy not too sweet. just right. Veggie Curry = curry had good flavor, but wished it would be a little thicker. Over all decent meal. Solid! Would come back when in the area and in need of Thai food. I dropped in here on a Tuesday night around 6pm. I was on my way back to the LA area from Hemet and traffic just got worse and worse. Thus, I decided to pull off the freeway and have dinner first. Enter this cute little place! It's in a very unassuming plaza next to many small massage parlors. The decor is very pale/minimalist. As some reviews said, it's reminiscent of the 80s/90s? It was so pale and minimalist, however, that I almost panicked and left because they didn't seem open! However, my experience overall was very good. I came too early for most diners, apparently, because there was only one other family eating. The server seated me immediately in an adjacent booth and was very very gracious in answering all of my questions. At one point I asked how many sticks were in an order of sate. When it seemed like she didn't understand my question, she went and got what I can only assume is her manager, and he was also very helpful! (PS: the sate is 5 sticks of meat~) Other than sate, I ordered a medium spicy beef pad Thai. The medium was actually a little spicy, as compared to some other Thai places where nothing seems to have a kick. The sate was also very good, although the peanut sauce was a little too sweet for me personally. Overall, I came away from that dinner feeling like I ate like a queen, but I only spent about $18 after tax and tip! I am quite a harsh critic of all food, and I would go as far to say the quality of the food here is as good as any I have had anywhere in the world--including Michelin rated 3 star (top honor) restaurants! Particularly their soup (that comes with the 6.95 lunch special) is exceptionally good, veggie spring rolls are great and taste fresh, Basil chicken is spot-on, and their special Magic Salmon is amazing! The onions under it are carmelized perfectly... My only warning (based purely on personal preference) is if you're used to traditional fried rice, do NOT get the "house fried rice" (which has ketchup cooked in it) with your lunch special. Found this place on Yelp when my boyfriend and I was looking for other than many sushi restaurants in the area for dinner. I never knew but after visiting this place, I realized that on the right side of the freeway exit on McKinley off of 91E, it is pretty ghetto and scary. Its pretty dark too. It was quite good! I always had Pad See Ew because of its sweet soy sauce based sauce but if you like spicy flavor then I think Pad Kee Mow will be the one for you. I do like spicy food but I cant eat as much as I would like to. But it was delicious!! Their Tom Yum soup was decent. I did have better elsewhere buy it was pretty good. The shrimp inside was pretty meaty. Sate was great too but it wasnt the best. However, the cucumber salad that came with it wad extremely good! I kept eating them over my sate! It was very plesant meal and I really want to come here during lunch time because I think they have really food lunch specials on the menu. They have a great selection of lunch specials for $6.95 - it includes a cup of soup and a little salad, your entree selection, spring roll and your choice of rice: fried, steamed or brown. I prefer the brown to the fried rice (the fried rice was an orange hue - and didn't care for the flavor). The last time we had a larger group (8) and they were very accommodating - although they did auto add 15% tip (which the service was good - so I didn't mind). I called ahead for takeout on my way home. Because it was my first time ordering from here I asked if the portions were large. The girl said "No, just enough for one person" which made me think I that one order wouldn't be enough, like it usually is from other places, for my husband and I to share. I don't know if she purposefully misled me, but she was very wrong. I ordered two orders of "Chicken Drunken Noodles" ie pad kee mao, and both takeout boxes were full to the brim, and it was more than enough food for just one person. I ordered one medium spicy and another spicy. The medium spicy was perfect for me, and I am sorry to say I did not try to spicy but it looked spicy. The dish was full of flavor, and really was delicious, however, it was very much lacking in chicken. It had maybe 5 small pieces throughout the dish. I had a craving for Thai food a few days ago. This place was close to the gym I go to and had a 4 star rating from YELP. I browsed their menu online and ordered their spicy basil leaf with beef to go(medium spicy). The restaurant is hidden in a strip mall behind a gas station. The interior is pretty small but clean. No customers at 5:30pm on a Saturday. Hmmm. Once I got home, I dug into the food. The sauce and veggies were typical Thai flavors, not bad. But the issue was the beef. It was hard, rubbery and disgusting. Never had beef like that. It ruined the whole dish. I questioned the freshness of it. After I ate a third of it, I was done. Within 20 minutes, my stomach starting cramping, got gassy, then had to run to the bathroom for some explosive d******. I was not a happy camper the rest of the night. Never coming back. read more
