The Egg Rolls are the best I have ever had. Pad Thai (3) was slightly burnt, but still good. Seafood Green Curry (5) was good. Tables are covered in plastic, which is weird. Service is outstanding. Will go back for the Egg Rolls and give some other dishes a try. read more

We had their food as take home. The spring rolls and egg rolls were fine but the egg rolls were way too oily. We also ordered pad Thai and made it clear we wanted it mild (level 1). It was so spicy we could not touch it. You could see red pepper flakes all over. We also ordered drunken noodles with mock duck also mild. It too was too spicy but not as bad as the pad Thai. When I called to complain and ask for a credit on my credit card I had a hard time explaining it (or she had trouble understanding me) so it is possible that our level of spiciness got lost in the translation but if they want to stay in business they'll have to stick with what people want. As it is I'm not sure I'll get my money back since they want to redo my order but I don't want to go through this again. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in the Twin CIties. The red curry chicken is awesome, I've had it 25+ times. Egg rolls are pretty good too. I always order off the menu and have never tried the buffet. This review is for takeout only. I've had worse, but I've also had much better Thai food. I ordered the wrapped shrimp skewers and pad Thai with chicken. The shrimp skewers had potential, but they were wayyyy over cooked to the point where the shrimp was dry and flavorless. There was also too much of the wonton wrapper for the size of the shrimp. The pad Thai was not too bad, but not great. The chicken was significantly over cooked, making it tough and bone dry. I ate around the chicken pieces. The sauce on the noodles was okay, but too sweet. I think the elements of a tasty meal are there, but the execution is very off. read more

Yes, for an entree and app you might pay $15 to $20 for a meal (with portions it's really 2). Big woop, Thai Table is hands down the best, most fresh Asian food around! Pretty good Thai food in Minnesota! We shared Phad Thai and Panang Curry. The sauces were good, but very bland for typical Thai food. The Thai food isn't on the same level as the West coast, but the restaurants delivers a solid product and is quick. Further, this is a really inexpensive spot to eat. I had both the Thai Ice Tea and Thai ice coffee (probably 2000 calories) and this was my favorite part of lunch! read more

We love Thai food, the kind with the authentic flavors and possibility to get real (not Minnesota) spiciness. My husband wanted to try this for his birthday dinner, and we were not disappointed! Everything from the egg rolls, through spring rolls, chicken satay, pad thai, seafood curry, beef with broccoli, pea pods and baby corn, noodles, to coconut dessert was extra fresh and tasty. We ordered dishes from mild through "4" out of 5, and the spicy end cleared out my son's sinuses. The downside was that they were understaffed for a Friday night, so the service was slow. My wife and I have been coming here for 10 years. We go a couple times a month. She's been to Thailand and says the food tastes exactly as it does in Thailand. Amazing food. Very friendly and attentive service. The owner is committed to hiring and training the cooks to follow authentic recipes and preparation methods that are pure Thai. We love the green curry with tofu (we're vegan) and the spring rolls but everything else is great too. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. This place is close to work and I have been there multiple times. My issues with this place: 1. Service is terrible. Servers take forever to show up. 2. I ordered drunken noodles and they were flaoting in oil. 3. Vegetarian items are not correctly labelled. The server said today "red curry is totally vegetarian although it has shrimp sauce in in the curry paste." I mildly argued how can it be vegetarian if it has shrimp in it. She repeated herself again and tried convincing me that it is vegetarian. 4. The old man on the front desk is very rude. 5. Thai Table is by far the most authentic Thai restaurant in the Twin Cities, and every one of their dishes is prepared with the perfect blend of herbs and spices. I am currently obsessed with their Tom Yum Soup and can't get enough of it! Trust me, no matter what you are craving, Thai Table's menu will easily have something that'll keep you coming back for more. On top of having a fantastic selection of Thai dishes, the staff are all unbelievably genuine and incredibly nice. Make sure to stop by this fantastic restaurant. It was with some trepidation that I tried this place because a Yelp reviewer totally destroyed the reputation of the food, the service, the decor and the owner...but, hope springs eternal. I'm happy to say the other reviewer was wrong on all counts! I'm a spice sissy so I took a Thai-spice veteran along for visit number One. I ordered bland and he opted for level two and we both got what we wanted. The veggies we fresh, sliced to the right sizes and not cooked to mush. The spring rolls were a treat. I'm not a gourmet so look elsewhere for deeper reviews of the food. For me it was good food, solicitous service, nice surroundings and the owned seemed quite human. Terrible service and a terrible owner who lacks customer service skills (by reading other reviews it seems poor customer service is a trend at Thai Table). I love thai food and am always looking to try new places to see how they compare with my regular spots. A friend recommended this place and I regret going here. There are other thai options that taste better in the surrounding area and have far better customer service. This was my experience: My girlfriend and I walked into the restaurant and were seated in the front outdoor patio by the owner. We sit down and wait 10 minutes before the waitress even comes by to take our drink order. Not only was she slow, but this waitress was devoid of any smile or hint that she wanted to be there. She quickly asks what we want and we put our order in for an appetizer (calamari) and entrees (pad thai, tamarind fried rice). Upon serving the calamari, she just puts it on the table and walks away, and we have to request silverware to be able to eat the appetizer. The food tasted decently, but it was not any better than other places. Once we were close to finishing our entrees, the waitress shows up and simply places a check on the table. (This was only the second time we interacted with our waitress. She never once filled our waters or asked if we needed anything else during dining.) Mind you I had come here to see what this place had to offer and was looking forward to ordering dessert, but it seemed as if she was attempting to rush us off. At this point the owner comes back outside to wipe down some tables and I ask him if he indeed is the owner, to which he responds yes. I then say I wanted to tell him about my experience and that I came here looking forward to trying a new place to see how it compared to other thai restaurants. I inform him of the poor service and how I wanted to try dessert but now I didn't want to due to feeling like I was being rushed away. Never once did he say he was sorry about the poor service, or that he was even going to remedy it. He plainly stated "This is a new routine serving out here on the patio, so that's probably why you had to wait longer" and "if you like the other places than you should just go there" (really?) So at this point it was clear he did not care about his customer service or the experience patrons have at his restaurant. It's because of this blatant lack of customer service that I will never return to Thai table, and recommend you seek elsewhere for a quality dining experience. read more

I ordered a carry-out order on Valentine's day, and was told the wait would be 30-35 minutes. Four of us at the restaurant ended up waiting AN HOUR AND 20 MINUTES for our food. This meant that from the time of calling to receiving our food was an hour and 50 minutes. Upon complaining after the food was an hour late, we were told by the manager "I'm sorry.. but.. most customers are understanding on a night like tonight." Disrespectful. When the food finally came, we asked if it was possible to be compensated. The best he could do was comp an appetizer, unbelievable. We told him he had lost us as future customers and he did not seem to care. Food was fine. Worst service of my life earns a 1 star. read more

We have always enjoyed this place and brought friends and family but recently something has chsnged. Food wasn't nearly as well prepared. Our orders all came out separately so we either ate before we all got our food or we let our food get cold until everyone easy served. The waitress was so loud and abrupt it was uncomfortable. If I could give negative stars I'd take away 10. I used to frequent Thai Table multiple times a week. Tonight I accidentally placed a to go order for a friend at Thai Table instead of the other Thai restaurant, Nong's, they had requested. I called Thai table to cancel and the owner refused to tell me cancel and was demanding j pay for the not even $10 worth of food ordered. I had in the past recommended this place to several people who have since gone out of their way to go there, I attempted to cancel the erroneous order and that is how they treat a regular customer? You can bet that just as I told people about Thai Table who have since become their customers, I'll tell them about their horrendous service and send them to Nong's, just a few streets down with better food and excellent service! UPDATE: Nice comment Thai Table. If by "explained" you mean yelled at your customer saying "I won't let you buys food here!" then yes, you sure "explained". If poor customer service is definitely your style, please go to Thai Table... Or go up the street to Nong's where they value their regulars. read more

It's been hard to find quality Thai food in the suburbs (Minneapolis has so many good ones- Tum Rup, Amazing Thai, Quang, Roat Osha), but this one did a great job.
