Visited this place a couple of weekends ago and I have to say that I was impressed with the food and the service. Granted, it was a hole in a wall as it is just a small place sandwiched between a sports bar and a smoke shop, but it had a mom-and-pop quality inside which gives customers more of a home-like atmosphere. My wife and I had the Appetizer Sampler, Garlic and Pepper Beef, Bangkok Seafood, and the Pad Thai. The flavors were definitely authentic and delectable. We could hear someone in the kitchen coughing violently. We should have gone elsewhere, but we went against our better judgement and trusted the misleading yelp reviews this place got. The order: 2 pad thais (1 chicken, 1 pork), one order of crispy spring rolls, and 1 thai iced tea to go... The pad thai: low quality ingredients and lazy shortcuts made this the worst pad thai I've ever been unfortunate enough to encounter. The green onions were nearly rancid, and the bean sprouts had already sprouted! Wilting vegetables should be thrown out - not fed to paying customers! On top of that, there was a very prominent flavor in this pad thai that I hope to never encounter again... KETCHUP! Ketchup? Yes. Ketchup. It was unmistakably cooked with ketchup. The "crispy" rolls: undercooked! and the peanut sauce we ordered tasted like nothing more than watered down peanut butter. The thai iced tea: it was alright, I guess. This is a great place. The food is outstanding, the presentation is perfect and the portions are huge. We ordered too much food. Maybe get one or two apps for the table ( we were five) and then a meal for each. Maybe. The outside isn't dazzling (per other reviews) but don't let that fool you. Really tasty Thai food with a varied menu that should appeal to your group. Pretty authentic as far as I'm concerned. I eat a lot of Thai food but YMMV. The service varies depending on the night and how crowded the restaurant is. Usually the place is pretty quiet, but not dead. They have take out as well. We have been eating here last few months. Every meal has been wonderful. Their peanut sauce/dressing is the best we've ever had in 31 years of eating Thai food. Their pra ram is made with the freshest broccoli and spinach. I don't like the fried tofu as it was over cooked, but the chicken and/or beef with the pra ram, outstanding. Their fried rice excellent. Their coconut soup best we've ever had. Brought some home when I had a cold and it 'cured' me. Prices excellent. Wow! I like Thai food and try and eat Thai when I travel. This ranks up there with some of the best I have eaten. We had the fried tofu and rolls for appetizers. The tofu was tasty and seemed to have a flavor that other places do not add. Wonderful! The rolls were so much more full of lettuce and mint than I usually experience. Very good! For our main course I went with the yellow curry (a personal favorite) while my wife had the Pad Thai. The yellow curry was great, overall very tasty though a bit spicy for my liking (I ordered a 2/10). I gulped down the water to deal with the heat - yeah, I know I am a wimp! My wife loved the Pad Thai, and enjoyed the flavor. Overall, great experience! The service was excellent though a little slow as the night wore on because they were packed (Friday night) and there appeared to be only 3 people running the place! Absolutely recommend!! read more

Had spring rolls, hot and sour soup and spicy noodles heat level 7. Spring tools were very crispy and flavorful. Soup was good and spicy noodles had lots of basil flavor and lots of heat. Had to wipe my sweating face more than once. Chicken in spicy noodle dish was very overlooked, dry and chewy. The only negative in my review. This place is overrated. The food is just so so and the atmosphere is poor. When we went there, there was a table of six people next to us who were very very loud. We ordered yellow curry, pad thai and minty leaves chicken. The taste is not up to standard. I would give a 3 star. However, the service is good.
