Just returned from my first dinner at Thai Table and was thrilled. We had lovely, hospitable service and a terrific dinner. The panang curry was great and the basil eggplant with tofu was excellent. Oh...and try the sweetened Thai rice fantasy (can't remember the actual title)- super good. The portions were generous and the prices were right. Food was fabulous and service was great. Large portions, especially the fresh spring rolls (6 per order). Excellent curry, pad thai, papaya salad, and spicy noodles. We had spice level 6 and next time will probably get level 7 (we like our food pretty spicy). Highly recommend. read more

I began going to the Thai Table for about a year now. I try to go at least once a month. The Thai Table is the best Thai food I have ever had. I have been to many other Thai restaurants and they just never were this good. My recommendation if you go here is the Spicy Noodle With Duck. Absolutely Delicious and great prices! The restaurant is small, but not too small. The food came out quickly and was hot. The portions were nice and large. I had to take my leftovers to go. I had the Chicken Panang Curry, Chicken Pra Ram, and Papaya Salad; all were amazing! The service was also great. There is plenty of parking in front. This restaurant is not close to where I live by any means, but it's my new "must stop" Thai place, if I happen to be in the area. The first time I ate here, it was in the mid-afternoon, and I was one of two customers in the restaurant. Since the business is set in a nondescript strip mall, this made me a little nervous. No worries, though, the food was delicious! My favorite was the beef green curry: the curry sauce had the right consistency and it struck the right balance of spice and sweetness that's inherent in green curry. By the time we left, customers were starting to roll in, so they must get a later crowd on weekends. Definitely stop here. Don't let the store front fool you! read more

One of my co-workers is a frequent patron here and this is his favorite Thai place in the county, apparently. So, I was expecting a lot when he drove me and another co-worker here for lunch a few weeks ago. I must say, Thai Table does not disappoint! Great food, well spiced (we kept it at a 5 and it definitely had a kick), good portions, and not overpriced. I'm happy to hear it's a family run joint. Good. I pretty much agree with what everyone else said. Great food, reasonable prices but not a place to impress your girlfriend on a first date. Be careful with the hotspicy rating of 1-10. I love hot foot but after hearing comments at the next table, I ordered my sweet and sour chicken prepared #5 which is a medium spicy. Still I left with burning lips and tongue. No big deal, but next time I might make it a #3 and see what happens. read more

I've been told by numerous people to go to this place. I stopped in and ordered to-go after I went grocery shopping. This place is right next to a Sports Bar that I never knew existed. Rooster is down the street and that's all I knew because of their famous burger. Any who, this place is clean and I mean CLEAN. I had to wait about 15 minutes for my food and my phone died so I was just really checking the place out. I mean the mirror decor by the entrance is spotless and not a drop of dust on it. The shelf with all it's little decoration on it, no DUST! The floor is has a few wear and tear but there's not a drop of food or crumb anywhere. The glass on the door and windows are also CLEAN! I don't know why but I was just in awe. So I ordered the Chicken Larb salad. The Spicy Fried Rice, Panang curry, and Pad Thai. The Spicy Fried rice alone was amazing. It's not your average fried rice. The basil and chili in makes all the difference. The Larb(chicken) was amazing. Wrap it in the lettuce and throw in a slice or two of cucumbers and your golden! Now, eat that Larb with the Spicy Fried rice and your mouth will party! The Panang curry was great! The portion of meat v.s. veggies was just right for me. I didn't eat any of the Pad Thai but my girl loved it and said it was a lot better than the place we usually go to. By the way I ordered all of that with pork and spicy level 4 which actually was pretty mild to me. The food here was just amazing, just AMAZING! If it's your first time trying Thai food don't be afraid, they have pictures in the menu so you can see what they look like. I'm feeling pretty fat right now but I actually want to eat more. The next time, my girl and I will be dining it and trying new things. I can't wait! read more

God this place is good And this is coming from someone who dislikes most thai food, the crab Rangoon is addicting, the chicken coconut soup is excellent with white rice and the orange chicken literally will make you never wanna order from anywhere else ever again. My wife is from Thailand, and this is our favorite spot for thai food in north county, the service is usually quick, the taste is good, and the price is decent. They had some really great thai iced tea and my Lahd Nah was delicious. Food and drinks came fast, and the waitress was really friendly and checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good. Their curry wasn't very thick and I think they focused on the spicy part rather than the flavor part of their curry. If you get their tofu, ask for it to be cooked crunchy and it will be delicious. read more

Everything was delicious and plated nicely. The restaurant was clean and had great atmosphere. I loved how the menu was setup, there were photos of everything and it was nice and neat. The waitress came back multiple times to make sure everything was fine with our order. Out appetizer even came out within mere minutes of us ordering it, fresh. Great little Thai restaurant. It's located in a strip mall and the restaurant itself is small and basic. The food is anything but basic. My wife and I started with Tom Yum - the best I've had in the San Diego metro. I had Veggies with Squid and my wife a Thai beef salad. All great. The portions are large enough that we had left overs. The Pad-See-Eiw and the Spicy Basil Shrimp were fantastic. The Pad Thai was very different than any I have ever had before. My group and I were not very fond of it. It was way sweeter and had more of a vinegar taste than I have ever had before. It was not terrible but if you normally order Pad Thai at Thai restaurants, consider trying something different here, as you will likely be disappointed. read more

This is a carry out only review. I called and placed the order for pad se ew with duck, duck curry and an order of mango and sticky rice. The total came to just under $40.00 which is a little high, but I am kinda used to it - Thai food always seems to cost a little more. Anyways, they said it would take 15 minutes so when I got it it was ready and hot. When i got home I was pleasantly surprised that it was as close to the thai place back home as I have had here in the Oceanside and surrounding area. The last two Thai places I ordered the pad se ew and I could barely eat it. This meal I actually ate all of. I had it for leftovers the next day and it was still good. I didn't have the duck curry, but my boyfriend did. He was it was good and he finished his food also. The mango and sticky rice was large and yummy. I would have accepted it even sweeter but I wasn't complaining! Overall, I would say so far this is my top choice for Thai in this area. but the search is not over. read more

This was a pleasant surprise. I came here on my trip back from San Diego, and chose it from the nice reviews on Yelp. I had the duck curry as the main dish, which was outstanding! However, I ordered somtam medium hot (papaya salad) because it is usually too mild in other restaurants, but for me it was unbearably hot and I could not finish it. It just shows that they are authentic and that ordering mild will have plenty of flavor and even some heat. On the other hand, I heard someone at a neighboring table telling his wife that his dish did not have the heat he had wanted (she had asked him: "was it hot enough for you?") I had seen this place ever since I can remember but had never been curious enough to dine there until yelp was invented and began guiding my dinning choices!! I had the pineapple chicken curry level 4 which was to die for!! The spiciness was perfect and the flavor was beyond words!! The steamed rice topped the dish and the portions were great!! I had enough for leftovers and I left completely satisfied. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. They even had fresh flowers at every table :) They give you a complimentary orange at the end which is sliced in the cutest way ever, great food presentation and delicious taste. read more
