Really enjoyed Thai Twist Noodle House! We tried the Thai-Style Basil, Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles), and fried Pork Gyoza, and overall the food was flavorful and well prepared. The Thai-Style Basil was the standout for me. It had the perfect amount of spice without overpowering the other flavors. The ground meat, basil, peppers, and sauce all worked well together, and the over-easy fried egg with jasmine rice added the perfect balance to the dish. The Pad Kee Mao was also very flavorful. The noodles had great texture and soaked up the basil sauce nicely, but I was surprised there wasn't much heat. I'm not normally someone who seeks out spicy food, but with Thai food, especially drunken noodles, I expect at least a little kick or the option to choose a spice level. Still, the flavor itself was definitely there. The fried pork gyoza were a great starter. Crispy on the outside and even better dipped in the accompanying sauce. One thing to know before going is that this isn't a "vibey" restaurant, and I actually appreciate that for what it is. No elaborate decor or trendy atmosphere trying to compete for your attention. It feels like one of those increasingly rare places where the focus is simply on serving good food. Service was good throughout our visit, and overall we had a great experience. Our family loves this place. Some dishes are misses but overall this place is amazing and we keep going back again and again. Their noodle soups are pretty good albeit salty. The restaurant is quite large with tons of tables inside including multiple booths. They've got wood on the walls which is a nice touch. It makes for a cozy vibe. Their wide flat noodle dishes are winners for sure. The pad kee mao is phenomenal even more so than their pad see ew which is usually my favorite Thai dish. Don't get pad Thai with seafood, the seafood is not nice at all. I'm fine with frozen seafood but it just tasted low quality. Bangkok duck is another go-to of ours. It's really tasty and a bit spicy so definitely avoid if you can't handle some heat. They give you a bowl of rice to have with it. They seem to be out of mango sticky rice half the time which is a bummer but a friend of mine has tried their coconut cake and said it was really soft and nice. They were out of that the last time we visited as well. Their roti is good as well. It comes with nice dippy sauces (one curry and one a slightly tangy cucumber sauce). Their wonton soup is pretty decent and portion is generous. The large comes with 8 wonton which is enough for a meal in and of itself. Great kids option. Bamee Moo Dang is also good if you like variety. The glazed pork is a tad sweet if you're into that. The service is incredible when the restaurant isn't too busy but they are typically short staffed so you can expect to wait a little while for your food if you go at a busy time or on the weekend/Friday. Have enjoyed a couple really good Thai meals from here. One meal we had delivered and were impressed, so it was time to try it in person. I was not a fan of the previous Thai restaurant in this location, but this version is doing some really good things. There are booths and tables, relatively stark atmosphere, but nice and clean. Sis and I went for lunch. There is no lunch menu, so do know they are dinner prices, but also dinner portions. We both took home enough for another meal. She had the basil eggplant dish that also has pork and shrimp. I had had that one at home and really liked it, as did she. I tried the chicken basil, which is loaded with green and red peppers, and uniquely, the rice was topped with a fried egg. Genius! Both of our dishes had a nice amount of Thai basil, which is always appreciated. There are a lot of noodle dishes on the menu which we will have to try at some point. They do not make the noodles in house, but I sure bet they know how to prepare them. Love that there's plenty of easy parking right out front. Service was friendly and efficient. read more

I've been to every Thai restaurant that has been in the building and it's always been authentically good. I got the Tom Yum vegetable and Pad Kee Mao noodles (hot) and it was delicious. The soup had a good amount of veggies and was a pretty big portion for being a small size. The noodles were chewy and it was the perfect veggie to noodle ratio. The server greeted me promptly and took my order quickly. The space is exactly how I remember it with the last owner but very inviting and the typical Thai wooden decor. We ate there tonight for the first time. We used to frequent the Thai House prior to it's departure, and we are glad to see another Thai restaurant pop up in its place. We found the food and service delightful. My husband had the Pad See Ew with pork and broccoli and enjoyed the flavor. I had the Pad Kra Pow with shrimp and it was delicious. The summer rolls were also very good. The service was pleasant and prompt and we felt the price points were reasonable. The inside is basically the same, and still clean and bright. I passed this place on my way home the other day and never saw it. I love Thai food and my favorite spot is all the way in wake forest so I went for the first time tonight. They close at 9pm on weekdays so I cut it a little close but the servers were very accommodating and attentive. The food was great I got the Bangkok Duck and Coconut cake. Both for a pretty reasonable prices. The inside was super nice, a great spot for lunch with friends. The day before my due date, I decided I wanted some spicy thai food for takeout. I did some research on thai food near me and discovered Thai Twist Noodle House! I placed the order 5 hours ahead of time. When I showed up, the order was ready right on time and the food was piping hot! I ordered the Panang curry (spice level: hot) with added broccoli, cabbage, and bamboo shoots. My husband ordered his usual: pad thai with chicken and extra broccoli (spice level: medium). We split the tom yum soup. The soup had a nice bright, acidic flavor from the lemongrass which helped mellow out a bit of the spice that the soup had. It was a lovely starter to a spicy meal. The pad thai was the perfect, classic pad thai with a great nutty, savory, umami flavor. The panang curry had that strong peanut flavor you crave from a panang curry. Thai Twist used to be Thai House. It went through a few transitions but now the quality of the food and service is back to a high level. The food is excellent, perfectly spiced for any level. My partner can't tolerate spice, I like a pretty intense spice level. We recently got takeout and the spicing for each of us was perfect, zero for him, level 4 for me. If you like Thai food then give this place a try. You'll probably have as much trouble deciding what to order as we did. Spice levels are 1-5, 2 is their mild and I found 3 to be perfect. I arrived a few minutes before 2 pm. There were only a couple of tables seated and my guess is the lunch crowd was wrapping up. The servers were removing everything from the tables such as condiments. The menu is pretty straightforward however there is no lunch menu. A bit expensive if you're looking for something for lunch.
