Kali was my server and she was sweet. The food was amazing. Everything tasted fresh and was seasoned perfectly. The spicy tan tan is not over spicy it's just right. The ambiance is dark but visible restaurant has an amazing feel to it. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Gov this place a try it's a must.

Loved it. Small and cozy place with great ramen. My husband and I tried the 3 hand rolls, made with seaweed so fresh we were able to tear them in half to share. Very fresh and flavorful sushi. Menchi katsu appy really delicious. The ground beef is deliciously seasoned and the gravy has a curry-like aroma and taste. Very nicely done. For dinner I had the tonkatsu ramen and my husband the spicy tan tan. Deep flavor broth for both, very delicious and not salty (which I feel is a recurring problem for some ramen places). Really enjoyed it. The ramen portion is huge. Mine had 4-5 slices of chashu (which was very tasty. Perfect eggs too. Very pleasant staff who are clearly advocates of the food and restaurant. Will definitely go back!

I had the opportunity to try this place for a birthday dinner, it's a small place but the atmosphere it's very nice and the service was great, our server Kali was very attentive and sweet, kudos to her. We had a few appetizers to start Menchi Katsu which was so good, i don't eat raw fish but i had the crispy rice with spicy tuna and i will say i was impressed with the flavor it was very good, also we had the spicy tako wasabi that was not that very impressive but it was good. For the main course I had the spicy tan tan which was good, not the best one i ever had i think for the price i was expecting more, my friend told got the #5 hand rolls of the which i tried the crab and it was good as well. We had both desserts the black sesame creme brûlée and the yuzu lemon sorbet both were so good, on the smaller portions tho. Overall a good experience, I will come back in the future just for special occasions and i do recommend this place.

Dropped in here right when they opened for dinner with no reservation to get a quick bite on a rainy cold day. Hubs got the chicken ramen option and I ordered a variety of hand rolls. Since I was seated at the bar, my hand rolls were served individually as they were made and they were all delicious! The ramen broth was creamy, filled with flavor and had the perfect amount of spice. They will give you spice to add on the side if requested but I found that it wasn't needed! We also ordered the corn riblets and garlic edamame both of which I would order again. I would definitely come back again- for both the sushi and ramen.

The ramen was excellent and the hand rolls were incredibly fresh. They just melted in your mouth. A must try for sushi and noodle lovers!

The ambiance is nice. It is a smaller restaurant and has dimmer lighting (which I personally like). The ramen portions are hearty, which is also a plus. I'm knocking a star off because of a couple of things: 1) The noodle to broth ratio is just off. There needs to be 25% more broth. 2) I just don't think chicken belongs in ramen. It's not traditional and pork tastes much better. I enjoyed the Tonkatsu ramen more than the spicy miso because the broth was a little thinner. The spicy miso broth was a little too rich and salty for my taste.

I came here for a weekday lunch looking to try a bowl of ramen. From the clean wooden decor to the uptempo music playing in the background, I could feel the contemporary vibes of this place. I was a bit on the early side to lunch, so other patrons didn't start filtering into this establishment until I began eating. I ordered a spicy tan tan ramen which was both delicious and well presented, and I'd definitely recommend it!

Wow! This place... where do I begin! The location and ambiance of the establishment was PERFECT!!! The service was exceptional, the food was out of this world. Super fresh and flavorful. I can't wait to go back! This place is good for a date night, girls night or lunchtime. We had the salmon and crab hand-rolls, crispy enoki, Tonkotsu ramen and the spicy miso ramen.

Daijobu was such a great dining experience! We were so excited that a new ramen spot opened up in Raleigh. We got the crispy enoki to start and then ordered the daijobu tonkatsu and spicy tan tan. both dishes were delicious and the service was great. the food came out in a timely manner. The restaurant was on the smaller side but felt very cozy. We came for lunch on a weekday and had no wait. I would highly recommend this place!

Great neighborhood restaurant! Friendly service and delicious food. They also have a large community table in the center of restaurant where you can sit with other diners. Had the crispy rice and spicy miso (nice amount of heat, great flavor) - yum! I'd return.

Service was great! The foods came out quickly. One small thing for me was the small space. You need to try to get there early to have a table. Overall, we really enjoyed the foods from appetizers to main dishes to desserts. As far as the menu goes, you also need to scan the QR code to review it. Appetizers: Salmon and crab handrolls: delicious and fresh. Menchi katsu: crispy fried ground beef patty with curry sauce. It was very delicious as well. Came out steamy hot so we had to wait a few mins before devouring it. Ramen bowl: my husband and I ordered the Daijobu Tonkotsu bowls. The broth was milky like. It was smooth and rich. Everything that came in the bowl complimented each other very well. Dessert: we had black sesame creme brûlée. It was my favorite though my husband was not really impressed by it.

Pretty top tier new ramen joint in town. Great atmosphere and service. We had the spicy tan tan and the tonkastu, along with the octopus appetizer and their hand rolls. Everything was fresh and flavorful, noodles were al dente. Hand rolls were fresh. It was pretty filled and seaweed crunchy. Will definitely return. :)

Delicious food! Came here for a birthday celebration with a party of 6 and we were seated immediately on a weekday evening. We were seated in the middle table so there was another party next to us, but this wasn't an issue. We got multiple orders of the crispy enoki and crispy rice with spicy salmon and it was delicious! I got the tori shio ramen and it was very yummy. Perfect spot for a night out with friends or date night

Delicious!! This was…read moremy first time having ramen, and my friend suggested we go here, and I'm so glad we did! Noodle Blvd is located in a spot that you could easily miss, but it's easy to get back on track. I pulled into the gas station parking lot beside the restaurant, then just turned right into the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small, so be warned about that. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! Worth the drive from Clayton, where I live.

The broth was rich and balanced, the pork was tender, and the toppings--bok choy, beansprouts, bamboo, onions, nori, and that perfectly seasoned egg--brought everything together beautifully. I did ask them to cut the meat up but they were "not able" to accommodate that request. Every bite felt warm, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. The service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe of the place is fun and energetic. The music was a bit louder than I prefer, but it didn't take away from how good the food was. If you're craving a great bowl of ramen in a lively atmosphere, Noodle Boulevard is absolutely worth the stop.

Five stars, no hesitation…read more I heard about Sono Sushi through Resy and finally made it in. It's located in downtown Raleigh on Fayetteville Street, right next to the ABC 11 studios, easy to find and a great spot if you're already downtown. The ambiance is great and fits the food well. There's a nice mix of seating, tables along the windows looking out onto the street, high top tables, traditional dining tables, and a sushi bar if you want to sit up close and watch everything being made. It feels lively without being loud, and works well whether you're there for a date night or a more casual meal. We started with the Aburi appetizer, torched salmon belly, ooba, salmon roe, Japanese seabream, yuzu kosho, and ponzu, and it was outstanding. Everything worked together perfectly, rich, bright, and balanced. I also ordered ikura and ebi, even though I meant to order ama ebi, but no regrets there. Still excellent. We shared the Poke Roll with wakame, avocado, cucumber, mango, tuna, salmon, hamachi, and Sono poke sauce, and it was very good, fresh, flavorful, and well composed without being overdone. My wife ordered the spicy miso ramen and loved it. The broth was the star, deep and comforting, and the pork chashu pieces were massive, in a good way. I went with the chicken katsu curry, panko fried chicken thigh with house curry and koshihikari rice, something I haven't had since Little Tokyo in LA a few years ago, and it tasted like home. Comforting, familiar, and exactly what I was hoping for. For drinks, I ordered the "SONO? SO-YES!" entirely because of the name, but also because I love blood orange. Casamigos Blanco tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, coconut cream, simple syrup, and blood orange juice, it was excellent. My only complaint is that I wanted more of it. My wife got the Okinawa Spritz, a play on an Aperol spritz with passionfruit, and it was even better than the original. We finished with the yuzu cheesecake. I debated between that and the ube cheesecake, but since this is a Japanese restaurant, yuzu felt right, and it absolutely delivered. Overall, everything from the food to the drinks hit. This is a place I would happily return to, and honestly, I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Ordered the Grand Piano and Umi Kazan rolls, both good with shrimp tempura but the Grand Piano was far "denser" with the blue crab in the middle. The Umi Kazan was my favorite with the shredded crab on top. I liked the assortment of options and how you could customize if you wanted. Also ordered a Malbec wine- quite good. Our waiter was very accommodating, just slammed for the dinner rush. I'd definitely return! The neon koi fish and paper umbrellas were stunning.

Served hot out of the fryer, it was fantastic and the highlight of our meal - highly recommended. The accompanying spicy mayo sauce wasn't spicy and had a weird gelatinous texture, but the chicken doesn't need it. I had the meatball curry rice for an entree and thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite having a 1-chili rating on the menu, it had almost no heat. However, the meatballs were very flavorful and the brown curry gravy was delicious. My dining companion had the tonkatsu ramen and thought it was very good; it had a generous serving of pork belly and she noted the egg was perfectly cooked. This is a tiny restaurant, but it does offer table service. Overall, the service was OK, but could use a bit of refinement to take the overall rating to five stars. Lately it seems like all of the restaurants we try offer mediocre meals and a poor value. Ton Noodles was a nice change of pace, with appropriately-sized portions of very tasty, well prepared meals, and offered a good value. Recommended!
