I came to try this place for my second time, usually I try a place twice before I jump to any conclusion, i will say my first visit was a little better but not much of a difference. Food was good but not the best Thai food I ever had and I feel like portions are very small for the price, i left the place and I was still hungry. Service was good and quick. The place is nice and quiet. As always this is my honest and personal opinion.

We love this restaurant and it's on our rotation regularly. The food is delicious and consistent, staff courteous and prompt. It's a perfect lunch spot. We recommend their chicken pad Thai and Thai cashew nut with chicken & pineapple.

Went to Sushi Thai today this afternoon. I ordered and paid for a Dinner-sized entree, but was given a lunch sized order instead. I contacted the Manager, and she was insistent that I was given the larger portion (despite the fact that I provided photos showing the smaller portion). There were 4 shrimp, and the container was only 2/3 full. Pad Thai is my favorite menu item, and I have ordered it many times for dinner from this restaurant. I know the size of the dinner portion as I've ordered it numerous times, and I did not receive that quantity of food. The Manager seemed annoyed that I had this issue, but gave me a $3 credit. BEWARE! I used to dine in and order take-out frequently from Sushi-Thai, but this experience has soured me. Too bad they lost a loyal customer.

Although my family has been coming to this restaurant for many years, I haven't dined in in quite some time. We came to eat here on a Saturday evening for dinner, and it was pretty busy. The restaurant walls are nicely decorated with traditional art, and there is ample seating available. Although it was busy, the waiters were very friendly and attentive. I tried their nigiri for the first time and it was delicious!! The fish was fresh and flavorful, and the portion was pretty generous. My family also ordered the pad Thai, Massamam curry, spider roll, and soft shell crab, and all of the dishes were great. I've never had a bad experience with food quality or service in the many times I've been here, Sushi Thai just simply does it right!

Their tomyum soup was phenomenal tonight! Spicy noodles were not spicy enough for me until I asked them for their homemade chili flakes. Their crab puffs are really delicious, too. Shrimp rolls are crispy and filling! The service was amazing, and the ambiance was nice as well.

We had 5:30 reservations for 4 here before a show at Koka booth. It was pretty empty when we arrived so we probably didn't need the reservation but it had filled up by the time we left. We sat in a roomy booth by the sushi bar. We ordered wines and beers to start. Our waiter was attentive and prompt. Friends ordered spring rolls and edamame for appetizers. I ordered a seaweed salad -- very tasty. Husband ordered a red chicken curry and was very pleased. Friend enjoyed some kind of coconut milk based Thai soup. My rainbow roll was pretty and delicious. Overall a solid meal.

Hands down best sushi place in NC ( in our opinion). Food and service were excellent. If we didn't live 2 hrs away we would probably eat here all the time.

Ordered the spicy Thai basil, spring rolls and wonton soup. All of it was mediocre and expensive. Prob won't eat here again.

We set up a reservation as it is can be difficult to just drop in unless you are prepared to wait. The atmosphere is great, with excellent ambiance, and all the staff that we met were very upbeat and kind. To start we had the Tom Kha soup and a sushi roll, spicy tuna. The Tom Kha was very disappointing. It just had a very very watered down taste with hardly any coconut flavor. It was missing the traditional Thai flavor and had zero sour flavor to it that is usually brought in by the lime juice at the end. Perhaps they forgot to make it properly. The spicy tuna roll was just ok. It had heavy rice with a small amount of tuna. Freshness was good. My wife ordered the Pad Thai which must be the most popular dish as everyone was ordering it. Her feedback was that it was average and a bit dry. I ordered the Pad Kra Pao which was very good. The flavor was excellent and I used the remaining sauce to put over some steamed white rice. My only feedback was the spice level. I specifically asked my server if the spice was traditional Thai level or was he grading the spice on a more moderate scale. He assured me, the levels were Thai and that the food was very spicy. I went medium spice and it was very light and tame. I would go more spicy in the future. Overall the experience was a nice outing and we enjoyed the location. The food however was very mid range. Having traveled throughout Thailand, I was really hoping to have a more authentic experience but this feels like a sort of fusion. We have now tried 4 or 5 Thai spots around the greater Triangle area and Osha has been at the bottom food wise. With such amazing other feedback, I have to wonder if we just experienced an off-night for the amazing Thai food

The hostess/server greeted us as we came in and showed us to a table. We saw a good assortment of Thai dishes, including a whole page of vegetarian options. There were four types of tea to select from (I chose Jasmine). My wife and I selected entrees and asked about their soups. They have a coconut soup and the server suggested a big bowl to share and asked if we wanted to add chicken. We did. Let me tell you, that soup was delicious!!! It was a large bowl, large enough that if we went to Thai 54 again we'd share the soup and a single entree. My wife had a chicken and vegetables stir fry. She really enjoyed it. I had the massaman curry. Excellent. Just a hint of spice. When we fly into RDU again, we'll return to Thai 54.

But I recently dined in, and unfortunately it was a bit of a letdown. We ordered the Thai Wings Zab, which felt like plain chicken coated heavily in chili powder. I don't mind spice, but this one felt like heat with no substance to back it up with. The other dish I tried was the Thai basil chicken stir fry, which is mainly the reason for this 3-star rating. The chicken was really rubbery and I was surprised that a Thai restaurant didn't quite deliver on such a classic basil dish.
