Nobody would never answer the phone and then found me when I get here people sitting inside eating and it wasn't even close. They had the open sign still on and she said they close at 8:30. We're poorest, worst customer service I ever had. And she lied, and she never act like she want to work when you do go there. The atmosphere is welcoming and very peaceful, I enjoyed the music choice and dining set up. It's perfect if you are on a date or just out with friends, the food is Amazing! I've been here 3 times from Charlotte and the food is great and the menu is amazing. But the customer service is not. The staff always seem miserable and make me feel like I am bothering them every time I ask for something as simple as water or a sauce. Every time I have been there I have experienced the same thing and even when it was slow we were neglected for like 30 minutes at a time. I would love to recommend this place and come back but please talk to your staff about treating customers better and having a better attitude. read more

I was super stoked about a vegan restaurant but Thai as well?! Heck yea! We went for lunch one day a couple weeks ago and the portions were amazing. I got the lunch combination green curry. Which was delicious but also came with brown rice, a spring roll, and a salad. I was stoked. The food is delicious for sure. However we ordered take out tonight and it left us very unhappy. Two dinner combination orders. The same portion as the lunch combination even though it's a higher price. And they didn't put the salads or spring rolls in our bag. Whether it was an accident or on purpose doesn't matter because it's negligent. We'll definitely be going the extra distance to a competitor that has consistently good prices/portions and service. read more

Wow! Wow! Wow! Even if you are not vegan you MUST try this place!!! They have only been open for about three weeks. The freshness and the flavors are excellent! So many options to chose from! Fantastic service, too! We had the veggie dumplings and soy chicken bites for appetizers, and both of us couldn't believe it wasn't chicken! Our entrees were also excellent, and the portions were very generous! So reasonably priced too! We had 2 apps, 2 dinners, and 2 glasses of wine, and our bill was less than $45. We brought friends for lunch visiting from Trinidad. While we're not vegan and didn't read the sign closely, we stayed and are so glad we did. The experience was so relaxing. The food was presented beautifully and tasted even better than it looked. Everyone enjoyed their meals so much and didn't miss meat. We finished with both their green tea and coconut ice cream. I am so ecstatic that Greenville county now has a vegan Thai restaurant! We live in Spartanburg county and got delivery, everything we had was fabulous. The restaurant has a full range of vegan meats instead of just the general option of tofu. Spring rolls were crisp and tasty, the curry tofu satay skewers were so good too! I got vegan pad Thai with pepper "steak" and pad se Ew with vegan "fish" which was delicious as well. We have eaten here 3 times now and this will be my go to take out restaurant. Greer is not the first place you'd expect to find a 100% vegan thai restaurant. It's kind of a hole in the wall type place. Good service, clean, reasonable prices, and GREAT food. I love that they have vegan thai iced tea, coffee, and coconut ice cream! read more

My husband & I drove 2.5 hours to try this place and it was 100% worth it! Thai Vegan has the best vegan Thai food we've ever had. We loved that everything was vegan on the menu and we didn't have to ask a lot of questions or make a bunch of modifications. The food was made fresh, perfectly seasoned, not oily, filling and delicious. The atmosphere was calm & relaxing. The service was outstanding! Maria was our server and she was AWESOME! They gave us a military discount too! We will definitely make the trip more often! I've had the red curry with tofu, pumpkin curry, tempura vegetables, pad thai, and fresh rolls. The serving sizes are generous. I'm never disappointed. My favorite so far has been the pumpkin curry. It's sweet and spicy. The curries come with a side of red chili sauce if you want to make it spicier. I wish that Thai Vegan was in Travelers Rest. I'd eat here multiple times a week if it was closer to home! It's worth the drive for me 100%. read more

This is a re-do of another restaurant. Everything is brown, and dark. But it is ok. Nicely priced, not too expensive. Beer was 3.50ish each, I thought that was reasonable. Food was delivered quick. The appetizers were delicious, we had the veggie dumplings. The sauces were excellent. One was mild and one was rather warm. We got three grilled and three steamed. Ok. The main part of the meal came in a bowl. The rice was on the side. The side salad was on the same plate as the other food. The two spring rolls were very very good. I would recommend them as an appetizer also. The presentation was acceptable, but not spectacular, it was adequate. I don't know, something missed, my wife thought so too. It is a nice "quick lunch" place, a hey, let's go here place, but not a "first date" place- unless you are both committed vegans. But again, it was good, I'll go back. read more

My review is for the food, the service, and the value. The ambience is not 5 star, but the rest was great. We had the chicken satay appetizer which had a very nice presentation and the flavors were delicious. I had the red curry with "pepper steak". The serving size, level of heat, and flavors were spot-on. My wife had the veggie stir fry with tofu and was pleased with that as well. To top it off, the draft beer prices were a great value. We go here often as it's got huge portions for a great price. My husband and I are both vegan. The service is typically relatively fast as well. Our experience here is 9/10 times amazing! However, today was the first day I got a take out order and I was given the completely wrong soup. Highly disappointed as it was very spicy while the soup I ordered was not spicy at all. I couldn't eat it. There were no other people dining in the restaurant and the only waitress there even repeated my order to me on the phone. I think she is newer to the restaurant or something. Left feeling very disappointed for the first time. I don't think I will try another take out order, but I will go back for dining in for dinner time as there are 2 girls that know us as regulars and always work very hard to make sure everything is right! read more
