Panang curry with pork and brown rice
    YuJun L.

Came here on a Saturday around 1PM while I was waiting for my brakes to get changed Was seated promptly and given plenty of time to peruse the menu. I ordered the fresh spring rolls with prawn, pork panang curry with brown rice and a Shirley temple. Panang curry was very flavorful, but might have been a tad salty for my liking. The shrimp spring rolls were delicious. The peanut sauce it comes with was perfectly made and it hit the spot. Shirley temple was pretty good, but maybe I could have asked for a little less syrup. There's what I assume is Thai music playing in the background which is there but just barely unlike other places that play really loud music. It was nice being able to enjoy my meal in peace Would come back to try the lobster pad thai I kept eyeing

Always great service. Always good good! I didn't get a pic of the mango sticky rice but it's to die for!

A decent Thai food in Kirkland Food : 3.5/5 1. Ultimate platter :4/5 A mix of chicken satay , prawn roll, crab wonton and spring roll served with peanut sauce. 2. Sriracha noodle with beef : 4/5 Very juicy and super tasty noodle. Perfectly cooked with right amount of salt and spicy. We ordered 4* spicy but it's not that spicy. 3.emperor noodle : 2.5/5 Looking at the presentation it was yummy. But frankly it was mediocre taste. Lil disappointed. It's part crispy and part saucy like chopsy style noodles . Overall all good quantity was worth the money Service : 5/5 Very good service and welcoming Ambiance :4/5 Decent ambiance with typical Thai restaurant theme. Parking is plenty in mall. Overall 4/5

    Crispy Garlic Tofu
    Sameer K.

The food was great. The garlic tofu was crispy and tasty. The same goes for the chicken dish (forgot the name) that was preferred. The staff was attentive and polite. We never had to wait for anything. The inside has a bunch of decorative lights. The furniture is wooden with no soft seats if that matters to you. Overall I liked it and will go again.

I just ordered a dish from this restaurant for lunch and to be delivered to my work place. First of all for the price they charge they give you lots of food. I order the basic S&S tofu lunch special. The sweet and sour are done nicely and taste good, but I was hoping them tofu weren't deep fried. Other than that it was alright.

Small Thai restaurant in a plaza near the Kirkland Costco. The plaza was pretty busy on a weeknight. The restaurant was half full. Nice interior with some Thai mythology paintings on one of the walls. Menu is pretty good sized. In addition to the standard noodle, rice and curry, they have good number of specialty dishes and desserts. I got the Thai iced tea for drinks. Very good, and quite sweet. For entree, I got the drunken noodles with beef and level 2 spice (out of 5). Spice level was noticeable, but not overwhelming. Their drunken noodles are on the sweet side. My friend got the crunchy garlic chicken, which was plated nicely in a pile. It is fried boneless chicken bits and certainly very crunchy. Finally, got the fried banana which comes with whipped cream, coconut ice cream and drizzle of some fruit sauce. Found the coconut ice cream to be the tastiest thing on that plate. Overall bill was $65 before tips. Their prices are not the cheapest, but portions are pretty good.

    Pad Thai

Really yummy Pad Thai! Gotten take out/delivery here a few times as I work nearby. Ordered lunch for my team one day and they all loved it and we're now repeat customers! Lunch portion of pad Thai was huge. Ate about half and I was stuffed! 2 stars was the perfect amount of spice. I also like that they didn't serve with bean sprouts. I'm not a sprout fan and I feel like a lot of Thai places overdo it in order to make portion seem larger. Theirs came with perfectly thin sliced carrots and some purple cabbage. Good amount of peanuts too. Give this place a try if you're looking for Thai in Kirkland.

It was basic, not anything to rave about but definitely not the worst I've had in the area either. The food needed more flavor, more garlic.

Had a total party size of two. We even added our names, but when we got led to our seats, we were put at the barstools. There were plenty of other parties of two that arrived after us that got tables plus there were some empty tables for two that we saw as well. So we requested a table instead of the bar area, but the server told us the manager didn't want us sitting there. Didn't make much sense when there were empty tables. Maybe they had some reasoning or structure for weekend crowds they they had to follow, not sure, but we had to stay seated at the bar area. We ordered a Margherita pizza to split as well as a slice of carrot cake as I've heard a lot of good things about these items. The pizza had really fresh ingredients and the sauce and tomatoes were tasty, however the dough was incredibly salty and made it difficult to eat. This was my first time at Deru Market, but I assume it isn't always this salty and could have been a one-time thing. The slice of carrot cake was pretty expensive (around $14) but it's huge and good to split amongst 2-3 people. I liked the generous serving of nuts and shredded carrot inside. Cream cheese frosting was still a bit too sweet for me (think I prefer Deep Sea Sugar and Salt's to this) and I had to remove most of it, but the cake was overall pretty good though a little on the dry side. I get why this place is popular, but I don't think I had the best first time experience here. With the high number of positive reviews though, maybe they were just having a bad day since it was a Saturday and pretty crowded, so I'm hoping to come back again in the future, during like a seasonal special if they have any.

We had tried coming here before and it was completely packed, so getting a last-minute table this time felt lucky. We chose to sit outdoors, and the patio was beautiful and made the whole dinner feel extra relaxing. We started with the Caprese con Mozzarella, fresh and simple. For my main, I ordered the fish of the day, which was salmon served with couscous, and it was soooo good! What I especially loved was that the salmon was very well cooked with a slightly charred, crispy outside. So many restaurants serve salmon halfway cooked or too soft in the center, which I personally don't prefer, so this was perfect for me. The couscous paired beautifully with it too. My husband ordered the special of the day, gnocchi with smoked salmon in a creamy sauce, and he loved it too. My daughter ordered pasta with a side of chicken. Service overall was okay, but unfortunately the chicken didn't arrive until we had basically finished dinner, which was disappointing since it was meant to come with her pasta. I also tried the cappuccino, and that was probably the weakest part of the meal. From an Italian restaurant, I was expecting a really good cup of coffee, but this one just didn't hit the mark for me. Overall, the food was delicious and the outdoor atmosphere was lovely. The salmon was definitely the highlight of my meal, and despite a couple of misses with the service timing and coffee, we still had a really nice evening.

Even the table bread was a winner, fresh and hot. The baked gnocchi was a miss though, the sauce was not flavorful, it didn't have any basil, and the very thick cheese was like eating school pizza. There are tons of other things on the menu I'd like to try so I'll definitely be back, but perhaps I will read prior reviews more carefully to find the better ones. Service was decent and friendly, and the restaurant next door had an excellent guitar and cello duo playing live music to set the mood. Sitting outside was comfortable with the umbrellas. Parking can be challenging in the paid lot adjacent to the marina.

Even with a reservation, we did have to wait a bit, but it was Valentine's Day, so totally understandable given how busy Italian spots get. Parking was pretty convenient with spaces both in front and behind the restaurant, and if those are full, it's close to the Totem Lake area so there are other options nearby. The ambiance was definitely unique--lots of mannequins, motorcycles, and a sort of roadshow vibe. It felt fun, a little quirky, and different from your typical Italian restaurant. Service was good overall, especially considering how busy it was. Our server was attentive enough and kept things moving smoothly. We started with bread and butter--nothing particularly special, but still enjoyable. The garlic herb compound butter oddly felt nostalgic and reminded me of childhood. For appetizers, we got the meatballs, which were hearty and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the seafood pasta in a wine cream sauce and really enjoyed it. There was a good amount of seafood--not super crab-heavy, but enough to get a few nice bites--and the sauce itself was light and well-balanced. My husband ordered the chicken parm, which he said was good but leaned a bit on the bland side. Overall, it feels like a solid neighborhood Italian spot. Definitely a place we'd come back to when we're in the area.
