We really enjoy the Thai food here as it's the most authentic we've found in the area. Beef salad, Phad Thai, Prik King, Panang Curry, Heavenly Beef are on point and consistent. I want to give 5 stars and I would have in 2023 and 2024 but someone was hired who has really slowed the service down. We have to ask for water refills and the check as we get left alone for long periods. I've heard the kitchen announcing orders ready but this server is just slow. It's disappointing as we never had service like this for years before until this newer server. We waited a few months to return but this server was still so slow and not attentive. Came here on a Saturday around 1PM while I was waiting for my brakes to get changed Was seated promptly and given plenty of time to peruse the menu. I ordered the fresh spring rolls with prawn, pork panang curry with brown rice and a Shirley temple. Panang curry was very flavorful, but might have been a tad salty for my liking. The shrimp spring rolls were delicious. The peanut sauce it comes with was perfectly made and it hit the spot. Shirley temple was pretty good, but maybe I could have asked for a little less syrup. My first impression was not good. Parking here is very limited since there are many more stores than spots. Several people had to park illegally to pick up their food, although the restaurant can't directly control this, admittedly. They only had one server, who looked overworked given the line to get food and the number of people eating inside the restaurant. The crispy chicken was very crispy and very good. The portions are sized well and overall a decent value. The food is better than the service and parking, but I probably won't come here again due to the issues above. Nice interior with some Thai mythology paintings on one of the walls. Menu is pretty good sized. In addition to the standard noodle, rice and curry, they have good number of specialty dishes and desserts. I got the Thai iced tea for drinks. Very good, and quite sweet. For entree, I got the drunken noodles with beef and level 2 spice (out of 5). Spice level was noticeable, but not overwhelming. Their drunken noodles are on the sweet side. My friend got the crunchy garlic chicken, which was plated nicely in a pile. It is fried boneless chicken bits and certainly very crunchy. Finally, got the fried banana which comes with whipped cream, coconut ice cream and drizzle of some fruit sauce. Found the coconut ice cream to be the tastiest thing on that plate. Lunch portion of pad Thai was huge. Ate about half and I was stuffed! 2 stars was the perfect amount of spice. I also like that they didn't serve with bean sprouts. I hate to update this, but I think we've given Thai Wisdom the last try. We loved this place and ordered regularly, but lately it seems the quality has really gone downhill. They never seem to pay attention to spice level - our stir fry that was a level 4 tasted like a 1, and the rice that was a level 2 tasted like a 5. The stir fry dish that was over $20 was mostly carrot and onion with a few pieces of beef, maybe 1-2 mushrooms and broccoli heads. We started with the prawn Satay appetizer. It was accompanied by a flavorful and chunky peanut sauce and a lovely little salad. My husband had the chicken pad Thai which he enjoyed immensely and I had the green papaya salad which was loaded with fresh shredded papaya and carrots and lots of other veggies and a light vinaigrette. The wait staff was super friendly and helpful. We will be back to try more items next time! The only thing that would make this restaurant better is to clear out some clutter. The inside is small but well decorated and lit with mood lights. I knocked a point because there were many togo orders, and delivery drivers constantly walking in and out the place. Tip is to take a seat/booth inside rather than near the door-to-kitchen path. Parking is tough during weekends - so you might have to park in the neighbouring complex (where Petco is). Crispy Garlic Chicken - 4/5 This was a much hyped dish at this place. The chicken was crispy (as name says) and well cooked. I wouldn't call is the highlight dish of this place though unless you're into crispy chickens particularly. Thai Wisdom Greenbean Prawns - 5/5 My highlight dish. My wife ordered this - although I wished I had ordered this. Amazing flavored curry. This is one of the best thai curries I have had. The beans were crunchy and with the flavorful curry with rice, I guarantee you will satisfy the thai craving you came here for. Must try! Sweet Sticky Rice - 3/5 This was also much hyped dish of this place, but did not live up my hyped expectations. The mango was bit difficult to cut - may be not fully ripe. Our friends are regular customers here and we were told this place was good so decided to try it. Excellent Thai food! I ordered the crispy garlic chicken and emperor noodles for takeout. The chicken was great, my husband really enjoyed how flavorful it was. Most other Thai restaurants we've eaten at before make this dish pretty salty but this was just right with rice. This is my absolute FAVORITE Thai restaurant on the Eastside! I came here with some friends for lunch and was pleasantly surprised that they offer $15 lunch combos from 11-3pm, and for an additional $3, you can add a Thai iced tea! Seriously such a great deal! The service was amazing. Unlike other Asian restaurants, I didn't feel like I had to flag the waiter down when I needed more water or assistance. They were always checking up on us to make sure we had what we needed. The restaurant itself was nice and clean and tastefully decorated. It was not overly loud and I could have a conversation with friends. The food was amazing!! It tasted authentic and delicious.They served big portions and we all had leftovers to bring home.
