    Tom Yum noodle soup
    Simon M.

Haven't been here in a long time...since before it was called thailicious. Ordered the Tom yum noodle soup. To my surprise and dismay, it came with egg noodles. Not sure if I had a choice of rice noodle, but they didn't ask me. And the soup is much darker than I've had elsewhere. It's more sweet and spicy than the usual sweet and sour. For $15, it's a pass.

DO NOT order the shrimp wonton soup. It almost has no shrimps but wonton skin only. furthermore, the wonton skin is so old and hard. I have ordered many times because I am working near hear. But the kitchen workers make so make mistakes. They always have wrong meat When I order the food. BTW The cashier is friendly.

Did not like the cashew chicken. It was more of a stew. It did not come close to what a cashew chicken should taste.

Overall fairly good. Curry and Pepsi you know my favorite. Any type of orange chicken dish is not good. Haven't tried anything else.

Went to eat here with the Hubs on New Year's Eve around 5:45 PM on a rainy night. Luckily there was…read moreno line when we arrived, but this place can definitely get busy, so I'd still expect a wait during peak times. Ordering is done by scanning a QR code, which was easy, and everything came out pretty quickly after we placed our order. They also have a sauce bar (extra cost) along with some sesame balls and rice crackers, which was a nice touch. Service was okay overall -- we did have to call our server a couple of times when we needed things. The inside of the restaurant is very pretty and clean for the most part, which made the experience enjoyable. Price-wise, it's on the average to slightly higher side for shabu, but overall a decent spot for hotpot, especially for special occasions or colder/rainy nights.

This was my second time here and overall it's a great experience- fun sauce bar, quick service, elaborate decor - what's not to like? As far as the eating experience goes, I'd give it a solid 4... that is until I went to the ladies room...or tried to. This was my first time going to the restroom and I was appalled by the mustiness of the air and the dirtiness that I saw. I'm familiar with restrooms at basic restaurants and I don't expect aromatherapy candles or scented hand soap but as a consumer I do expect a certain level of cleanliness especially at an eating establishment. I tried to just suck it up and bear it but had to leave as soon as a saw a thin black ring around the toilet bowls...(mold?!?!) Sorry if it's too much info but just had to share- go for the food and the picture worthy decor but skip the bathrooms till they have a thorough clean!

I hope to see this restaurant open some other time, even if it's in a different place. From what I remember the soup was great, and the other foods we placed in them were almost nice. I didn't mind most of the things most people had problems with, namely, the "presentation." Honestly didn't really care because I really only enjoyed the food. The owner was also nice and chill, along with the rest of staff, hope they're doing well.

Other places have passed them by in some respects First there is no sauce bar here. Just four small containers of sauces you can use. Ironically none of those sauces are soy sauce. A darker possible peanut sauce, a sesame sauce, a pinkish possibly fermented tofu sauce and the standard chili oil. I wanted more as far as the sauce goes and I thought a sauce bar was pretty standard these days Second there is no AYCE bar with small snacks. Kind of interesting When ordering the meat, I guess they wanted to save a plate so the sliced meats just came in plastic containers. That loses some points with me on presentation Other than that everything is fine. They charge a little less for the broth than a lot of places do, so that's nice Got vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, noodles and a couple of meats. Overall it's a fine experience, mostly Ok to Good. But the lack of some things makes it more second tier for me and it would not be a go to hot pot place for me

In addition, i switched to try the beef broth instead and It was much more comfortable to eat. The best part is the customer service!! Regardless how busy it is, the 2-3 guys who work there all day are amazing!! My cup will automatically be refilled before i even ask. They are also very observant! One time my son dropped his chopsticks and i turned around and one of them was already next to me handing me a new set. Now THAT is customer service and who deserves the high percentage tips and not those is sit around yet expect a a high 20%+ tip. Wait, there's more! At most buffet line type restaurants, i see employees would put food that were dropped out of the containers back in. These guys simply take and toss. I once broke a pc of noodle in half as I didn't want the whole thing, they also picked it out after i walk past to take and toss. They wouldn't even let us get our own waters. So for those who are concerned with cleanliness, these guys raise that bar! So oddly to admit, this became me and my families favorite comfort spot. In fact, got so into it we actually come at least once a week. Once you get 10lbs total filled from a stamp card, you can also get a lb free! My son's favorite is getting a free dum dum lollipop afterwards. @Staff: Thank you for being so attentive, clean and work so quickly. Other employees need to take notes from these guys!!

Same Hot Pot Obsession... Slightly More Parking Anxiety…read more Came back for our usual hot pot fix and immediately the first thing I noticed was... what happened to the parking in the back?! It looks completely closed off now, so parking felt very limited -- maybe about 4 curbside spaces in the front. We got lucky arriving around 7:30 PM and somehow scored front-row parking, which honestly felt like winning the lottery. Prices are still the same at $13.99/lb, which I appreciate... but can someone please explain why it is physically impossible to keep your bowl under 2 pounds? I go in with a plan every time and somehow leave with a mountain. I got my usual picks, although I did notice the name changed (I think now Odeng Hotpot?) but it seems like same ownership. Inside still feels the same too. I also noticed a few of the selections were a little different and maybe a little less than when I came about 4 months ago. A couple of my usual favorites weren't there, but I figured maybe they were just out for the night. My husband and I got the spicy & sour beef broth and wow... so good. Super flavorful, piping hot, and exactly what we were craving. Also -- fair warning at the sauce bar: beware of the red chili sauce. I confidently added a full spoonful like I knew what I was doing... and immediately regretted every life choice. That thing is fire in the mouth. Had to start over and make an entirely new sauce Proceed with caution. Big shoutout to Andy, our server last night -- super friendly, kind, and genuinely so sweet. Service like that always makes the experience even better. Hopefully we get him again next time when we're back in a few months for our next hot pot craving. Happy eats!

The mushroom soup base is a must--rich, flavorful, and especially perfect when paired with rice. It's one of those broths you actually want to finish, not just cook in. For meats, I always go back to the fatty beef belly and the Angus beef ribeye. Both are high quality, well-sliced, and cook perfectly in the broth--super satisfying every time. Service here has consistently been great. Yes, there's usually a wait, but that's because this place is always packed--it's constantly poppin, and for good reason. The staff keeps things moving and still manages to stay attentive. But honestly, my favorite part? The snack bar. It's such an underrated highlight. They have a variety of snacks available, and I always end up grabbing extras to take with me for later. It just adds to the whole experience and makes it feel like you're getting more than just a meal. Overall, this spot lives up to the hype. Great food, great energy, and definitely worth the wait.

The hostess asked for our information to get us to a table more quickly, which I appreciated. The food options are vast! The basic meats are far cheaper than Hai Di Lao. The sauce and snack bar had many options that I couldn't decide how to build the sauce correctly. The soup bases were good. The cost is good for not having to drive to Hai Di Lao and getting basic meats. What's problematic is getting service. The servers are so busy, it's hard to get their attention. It took more than 10 minutes to get the bill and receipt. I would give this place better stars if they had more servers. Hai Di Lao is far more attentive and the tablet is very helpful. Lastly, the restaurant is small so it feels like you're in everyone's way when you're at the sauce bar.
