First time trying this place out today. My city no longer has a Thai food restaurant and this was the next closet shop. I ordered the Pad Thai Chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The food was so fresh especially the onions and bell peppers on sweet and sour chicken. I love that the menu was small because I'm sure they have perfected each plate. Definitely coming back. Oh great customer service on top. Friend smile when I walked in.

The place is connected to the donut shop next door. I believe the donut owner's son runs this shop. As mentioned by others the menu is limited but they had my favorite Thai dish, pad see ew. I noticed that they use Chinese broccoli so that was a plus. I ordered a side of rice as well. It was a lot of food when I got back to the office. The flavor of the food was good but it was a little dry so the noodles were stuck together so it was difficult to eat. I wish they would've put more of the broccoli in the dish.

Wow, what a hole in the wall! Definitely a gem and I am so glad I dropped in. Was in the area shopping at Lowe's and craving some Thai food, so I decided to swing by and pick some up for the family. I have to say, I love Drunken Noodles and usually go to a place near Hollywood in Thai town but THIS is my new go to! Perfect balance all around and just enough spice so it allows you to absorb the mouthful full of flavor in this dish. Besides Drunken Noodles, I also ordered sweet and sour chicken, pad Thai, and shrimp fried rice. It was solid all around. The prices for the portion of food definitely worth it. Also, the owner was super friendly and approachable. He was helpful with his recommendation which was spot on. Looking forward until next time, I'll be back soon to try other menu items and the drunken noodle. Ooh yeah, pretty neat plaza as well, able to get food and dessert in the same plaza as there's a donut shop next door.

Holy sh*t this place is good! Very well made noodles at strip mall prices. They don't hold back on the spices and seasoning. If you can't handle some nice heat in your Thai, it's not for you. I would have liked more gai lan in my drunken noodles, but all good. The flavor and execution is there. Pico Riverans finally have the Thai food they deserve. Will go back for more.

This is an awesome hole in the wall Thai fast food spot. This is a newer restaurant that opened in Montebello and it is is great. The Pad Thai that I ordered was perfect. I also ordered a side of rice and between the Pad Thai and rice my wife and I were both full. The only thing that I would say is to ask for an extra wedge of lime. The flavors were really enhanced with lime and fresh onions and bean sprouts. It was actually refreshing and a joy to eat. Highly recommended.

Finally decided to this place since we were in the area. I've always wanted to stop by but never did. The food portions were decent. To Be honest, not much flavor. Just bland. We spent $26 on two to go plates and the pad sew yew is served with chicken as the main meat choice. If you want beef or shrimp it's an additional $3. For this price , it's crazy. It's not a restaurant. There's no combo plate choice. No drink with your order. The place a mile away IS a restaurant, with unlimited refills and they give a dessert. There's no comparison. We won't be coming back here. Express should, fast and cheap. Not as though we are at a restaurant. Nice friendly service though read more

I stopped by J's Thai Express this past Wednesday and let me just say this place does not disappoint. I placed an order for Drunken Noodles (mild) and the food was amazing. Although their menu is limited, but every dish is fine tune to perfection with freshness. Their dishes are not overly saturated with sauce. I really enjoyed everything I ordered. Picked up drunken noodles during lunch. The food was ready quickly (my lunch is only 30 min). It was flavorful and good. The noodles didn't stick together nor were they dry (glad I didn't listen to those couple of reviews). Glad to have a local fast casual Thai spot down the street. Medium+ spiciness level will be my go-to. Also, service was very friendly, that's always a plus. read more

Ordered takeout through Yelp, and the food was still fresh & hot when I got home! The food was delicious, the chicken was tender, and the spice was definitely there in my Drunken Noodle. I only gave 4 instead of 5 stars because the noodles were a bit on the oily side food me, and I wished there was more seasoning/flavor in the dish overall. I added soy sauce and that helped a little. Also, the customer service was great. The young man who handed me my order was very kind and welcoming. I think I'll be back to try the Pad See Ew. read more

I see a lot of people just ordering the largest one too. So the basic bowl is just rice and chicken or a protein. If you wanted to add veggies, it's a charge. Most teriyaki places would charge like 1-2 dollars to add veggies. I was charged like 5 dollars ish for veggies. I'm not sure if that's because I ordered a large bowl. The food did taste good, the veggies tasted fresh, the teriyaki chicken had a real good char flavor to it and the sauce is good. I wish they had real sauce containers for their teriyaki sauce because they give you it in a sriracha bottle which looks old and a bit dirty. It's not a full service sit down restaurant so there isn't much of a service. You go up to the counter and you pick up the food yourself. Any napkins or utensils you have to ask them for it. None of that stuff is on the table. You also have to bus your own tray. Overall, it's a bit on the pricey side but it taste good. Their teriyaki sauce is really good and it's not too sweet or salty. Would recommend trying it out.

The pho itself was good, and had a nice flavor. We also ordered a variety dish that had spring rolls and fried shrimp and egg rolls. They were all good, though I wish they included peanut sauce. The Thai tea and passion fruit tea also were good! The one thing I was disappointed in was the sandwiches (we ordered all pork) which were mostly bread, with very little meat, which tasted bland. Definitely a let down compared to other Banh places I've been to.

Uber eats, families dinning in, kids screaming, people like me ordering to-go; omg it was pure chaos. LOL. I am not sure of their names, I think one is "Ant" (possibly the manager) and I'm not sure of the young mans name in grey (he has red braces) buuuut holy COW ! Give them a round of applause!!!! My coworker and I visited this place for the first time last week, and it's definitely a hidden gem. Although it may not look like much, the food was absolutely incredible! Every dish was fresh and bursting with flavor. The owner, Joey, was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The service was fast and efficient, and he made sure we felt welcome throughout our meal. The Thai tea was especially delicious! I'll definitely be back to try more of their specialties. read more
