My daughter likes this place. She likes their orange chicken so when I was driving by, she wanted some. They give HUMONGOUS portions for the value. I really enjoy their hot and sour soup with hot chili oil...delicious. It's the only time I have that soup. One large order of hot and sour is only $4.50. VALUE. This was favorite Chinese food restaurant but after today I'm done with this place. The Asian female cashier has the worst attitude!!! Came today after picking up my mom from the hospital she wanted to enjoy some Chinese food but my food turn bitter with her serving my food telling me to hurry up and rolling her eyes at me though there was no one in line behind me. In the past she has thrown my change on the counter or slams my food on the table. Honestly wouldn't suggest eating here if you don't want to encounter that attitude. read more

one of my favorite Chinese restaurants!! Their service is so fast and they're so generous with the servings! You get so much food for less than $10! They have such a wide variety and it's so delicious. They even have ice cream and boba tea. I only gave it four stars because once I tried the Thai tea boba and the milk that they used was expired but the boba was so sweet. I ended up returning it and they gave me a full refund! Workers were nice but the food is atrocious. Resturant is also full of graffiti and a little ran down but okay. The "fried rice" has a weird flavor to it like some kind of bullion but way too overpowering and bitter. I ordered the "friend shrimp" and it was just grilled shrimps not peeled with head still one, so if that bothers you definitely don't order that. The workers were nice about switching out the side for something else but they didn't even bother to make a new plate so the plate still had shrimp "hairs". Let me start off with a positive note... the Latino that works there is welcoming and professional. Despite the plastic barriers and the face masks she was helpful and pleasant. Now to the lady that was at the cash register, her demeanor was crass and disrespectful. I was trying to add items to my order and she kept ignoring me. I spent 27 dollars and her attitude was not consistent with the you would expect from a dine in/ fast food restaurant. She was very rude and treated myself and my children as if she wanted us out. Times are difficult and people should try to be nicer to each other especially if you are a CUSTOMER!!!! Her behavior was beyond disrespectful ...I don't know if she does this often but I'm sure going to let people from my community know that they might experience this too. I was relatively surprised with this place. I'm always around here because of the huge plaza and all I wanted was to get some boba and I saw the sign and I was all over that. Went inside and I happened to have my in laws with me and they wanted to eat. They got food I got boba, we sat down to eat and I was drooling over their boba, wasn't the best but it was great being it was at a Chinese restaurant. Their food was good to, had a bit of a taste of chow mein it was ehhh, rice was good, orange chicken had good sauce, beef broccoli was tasty as well. This place was good at first. Then the quality of the food started to go downhill. The most horrifying experience was when my coworker spotted a dead rat INSIDE the restaurant. What's even worse was that the staff didn't seem to bother to even clean it up!!! Only to gesture my coworker to keep silent. Health official has been alerted. This place seriously has the best Chinese food ever! Their orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, beef broccoli and bbq pork are one of the best things about this place! I love coming here after a long hard day, or even casually as I am strolling around the neighborhood looking for some yummy Chinese food. Something about the food here just seems to relax me as I take in every bite. Not to mention how delicious it is! I love coming here especially knowing the fact that I can get it fast and simple, and they give you a big portion too! Came in and got skipped twice. Which I did not mind. I was still looking for the healthy part of the menu. The people that skipped in front of me were elderly anyway. The asian man serving the food with the black dad hat and red collar shirt noticed I missed my turn and caught my attention quickly. He said he'll take care of me next. I asked him for a healthy bowl which I didn't see in the first menu (there's a menu on the other side) he made me a custom healthy bowl. No skin on my grilled chicken and raw veggies. Worst eperience I ever had!! i would rate them a 0 if i could. My mom ordered shrimp soup and the soup had no shrimp. we then addressed the issue with one of the ladies who claims to be the manager. She then made a comment to her coworker that "everyone who gets the soup eats the shrimp and then asks for more". She was accusing my mom of eating the shrimp that never appeared in her soup. She told my mom "I can give you your money back if you don't like it". My mom said she would want the shrimp. She then gave her 6 shrimp with the worst attitude I've ever came across. This establishment has existed as a Chinese restaurant for many years, but ever since it fell under new management most recently, I am a total fan! Their food is more delicious, and they have a wider variety of dishes, drinks and desserts now-- including California rolls (YUM), boba, raspados, and "aguas frescas." Very good, used to come here as a child and not the very best. They changed ownership and with it the service and quality. The portions are huge, I mean HUGE. No one in my family can finish the whole Combo without feeling like they over did. The selection is good, not many to choose from but you can choose what ever item without being priced more for seafood or bbq etc. They have three aguas frescas: Horchata, Lemon and I think the third one was Tamarindo. On the opposite end of the restaurant there is an ice cream/smoothie/ tea shop. Large variety, there is definately something for everyone. Only thing is the size of the ice cream, a bit too pricy ($2.49) for a small scoop on a small cone. Was the down side. The owner is helping serve 80% of the time and the workers seem to really enjoy working there. they are patient and willing to wait on you to make your decision and or change your mind. At first this place can look a little offputting because it's senior woks... in your imagination doesn't really taste anything like Chinese food. However I have to say that I find them to be delicious and relatively authentic compared to a lot of other Chinese food places that serve Americanized Chinese food. Thank you for being one of few Chinese restaurants that does not use MSG and uses low salt and low sugar. However, on your flyers you say you use no MSG because you care about your community. In order to say such a statement, you should do something for the local community such as donating proceeds to a local organization (school, church, park, etc)or donating food to the homeless or a shelter or something similar. That would better show you care about the community. But you are off to a good start...but there's certainly much more you can do before touring that horn! read more

If you are in East LA you have to try the orange chicken from here! It have a great taste. The place it's very small and the personal cool. The milk boba tea it's a great dessert and have a nice parking place in the commerce center read more
