I've really been enjoying a lot of grilled chicken lately, and this place has been one of my favorites. The Chicken Bowl offers chicken or beef, and both are cooked excellently - not too dry, great amount of seasoning. Their sides add either a lot of flavor or a very healthy balance to the meal. I typically get the steamed broccoli for my veggie fix, and Mac salad as a side appetizer. Whenever I order online, it's usually ready and given to me with a welcome and a smile. Not overly sweet or artificial like many other places. Friendly workers. The owners are really sweet and professional. This place is tucked away in the corner of a very small strip mall, but it is quite the gem. The food coming out is definitely not what I expected from a place in this location. I can see parking getting crowded if all businesses around were busy. Food - SO GOOD. Regular chicken bowl with broccoli and white rice - First off, I like that they serve the chicken naked and sauce on side. That way, you can control your amount of sauce. Their sauce is homemade and delicious! It compliments the super tender chicken. It wasn't dry at all. I also think this is the ONLY chicken bowl I've ever had that had a larger chicken-to-rice ratio! More protein! Their side of mac salad is delicious as well! It's not drenched in mayo and has just the right amount of bite to it. I can tell the macaroni wasn't overcooked and soft. Ambiance - When coming in, the lady at the front was taking call-in orders left and right. So that may be the key to it. But they were all very friendly. Favorite little chicken bowl place! It's a small business, but they are great at what they do. I frequent this place typically on my lunch break from work and have never been disappointed. The portions are reasonable and fairly priced. My favorite would have to be the spicy chicken bowl and white rice combo. The chicken is never greasy or fatty and the spice is a medium level heat (and i'm not great with spicy) so I think this is a good amount of heat. The kimchi is also worth trying it is some of my favorite. I prefer this place over bigger names in the chicken bowl game, and I think so will you. Must try! read more

The food is good but be very cautious!! Under new ownership and new owner is shady!! The pricing is misleading. If you ask what is included they say two sides then they charge you individually for the two sides that were "included". I ordered for the family and ended up with $30 dollars of additional charges for the sides that were "included" in the plate. When I called, the owner blew me off and handed the phone to her employee who could do nothing to help me. He placed me on hold to ask her is she could make it right, she left me on hold then picked up the phone and hung up. As a side, I tried both the kimchi (ok, there's my veggie!) and the macaroni salad. The kimchi is fermented and a perfect complement to the chicken or beef. The macaroni contains celery and is very tasty without drowing in heavy mayo. You can choose between chicken or beef, spicy or regular. I've tried both and they're both equally tasty. I chose broccoli, need those greens. I also ordered a side of macaroni salad. You can chose 2 sides or 1 side and a can drink as a combo. The food came out pretty fast and they were making it to order. They ask if you want teriyaki sauce and/or hot sauce. Drove back to the office with food in hand. The plate is a rectangular box which had rice and the beef on top with the broccoli on the side. The meat did not seem to have any flavor so I would say it is bulgogi style beef. The sauce that they give you is pretty tasty, slightly sweet but not too sweet. The meat was very good, not like most places what give you the chewy type of meat. The meat was very tender and easy to eat. The macaroni salad was pretty standard with peas and carrots. All in all, a place to repeat for me. read more

I ordered the chicken/beef combo with a green salad and added avocado as well as green onions. The beef and chicken were perfectly cooked and soft to bite/chew. They offer chicken, beef (bulgogi),pork, and tofu as protein options. And you can get it in bowls, plates, salads, yakisoba (noodles), or in tacos. You can also substitute brown rice instead of white rice. They also have some small sides like mac salad, veggies, miso soup. Personally love the Korean style tacos and the yakisoba (spicy of course). The store itself is a bit small, but there's always room to sit. They also have shorter hours, 11am to 4pm, so be careful. You also get the option to add on green onions, if you want. The service was great and it was reasonably priced. And they give you generous portions! Ok! So as something of a Teriyaki expert (I use expert loosely - essentially I love trying new teriyaki places) ... this is by far one of my favorites. I thank the Gods that it's near enough to my house that I can call in an order and pick it up in 5-10 minutes. Price is very affordable, portions are great and the service is excellent + I love watching the older japanese cook lady scowl at me as I pick up my food (it's a scowl of love ... love her) Definitely get the spicy chicken and beef combo plate (they can make it as spicy as you want - so beware your own limits). I prefer getting just the regular salad (dressing is amazing), but the macaroni salad isn't bad either. Everything they have is pretty good - my brother likes their yakisoba (which I think smells of feet, but tastes pretty good).
