After a day of Sunday shopping, we decided on Thai food. After researching a few places where were were and on our ride home, we found a lot of the Thai restaurants were closed on Sunday. Let me say Thank you to those places because we went out of our way to Thailicious and absolutely loved it. This was a fairly small restaurant that wasn't too crowded on a late afternoon. The staff was attentive and were cleaning tables with cleaner after each dining party left. The crispy tofu appetizer for $5 was a pretty good pile of tofu. It was crispy and not overly flavorful on its own, but the dipping sauce gave it what it needed. The yellow curry tofu was just the right spice and had huge pieces of potato and tofu. The Spicy Basil Eggplant with Tofu was out of this world outstanding. When they put basil in the name, they delivered with basil in the dish! Too many times I order a basil dish and get not basil flavor. The only way to make it any better would be having Toni Basil herself singing "Hey Mickey" while I devoured it. It had a ton of flavor, nice amounts of tofu and veggies, and delicious colorful eggplant. Beautiful, delicious, and healthy. Even the brown rice ($2 upcharge) was super high quality rice. We were on the road, driving through Longwood/Winter Springs FL for a quick family visit before heading to our final destination. I ordered online and chose our pick up time since we were over an hour away. I had to ask for silverware as it was not provided. My husband and I had the salmon and red snapper. The red snapper dish was better than the salmon. The basil vegetable fried rice was delicious. I did hear one of the curry's was more than a medium. I heard the curry's were tasty minus the spicier curry which had some chugging water. This is my favorite Thai spot - in fact, I am surprised that they don't have a line wrapped around their building for how delicious the food is. You can tell they put so much love into their dishes - the flavor and quality is out of this world. Pricing to me is fair and reasonable for the quality, portions, and flavor. The service is always good, and the food comes out extremely quick. My favorite dish is the pad kee mao and the summer rolls. I also tried the Tom Kaa and I wish I could drink that broth every day. For dessert, we had the coconut ice cream and sticky rice which was an amazing way to end our dinner date. This spot is amazing - you won't regret giving it a shot. We sat outside in the covered porch area. It was a slow afternoon as far as sit-down, but the restaurant seems to run a brisk business with carry-out, so they were super busy in that area. The traffic was kind of busy outside, so it wasn't as enjoyable as, say, my local standards like General Public House or Senor Tequila, but still a very nice visit. The staff was pleasant and the food was good and served beautifully as well. I had the summer rolls and the papaya salad with shrimp and my friend had the red curry. NOTE: More of 3.5 stars I saw such great reviews and rating for this restaurant and I really wanted to love it but they disappointed me on a couple of things. They weren't major issues but they did make me feel like deducting stars because of it. First off, it was for lunch and it was not busy so getting my entire order was incomprehensible. I must say I was glad to hear they actually serve Chinese broccoli with the Pad See Ew. (For some strange reason lots of Thai spots in FL don't!). However, they also added regular broccoli that was soggy. The service was also nothing to brag about and the portion wasn't large. Overall I was just frustrated because I wanted to love this place. This was a stop on a whim and so glad we did. It is a small location but wait is worth it. It was later in the evening so although busy, did not wait long. They do an extremely constant flow of take out. The staff is great, prices low and portions large. As to the food; absolutely mouth watering delicious. We like this place and visit frequently but lately the quality is suffering. My favorite appetizers are calamari (which were lightly breaded and cook with garlic pieces - and I put emphasis in were... not anymore - they change the recipe for some reason). Last time we got more breading than calamari, were overcooked and gummy. Also I love their Chicken Basil Rolls - unfortunately the rolls I got last time were frozen in the middle. When I returned them, I thought they were going to give me a fresh batch, but I don't think so - I think they try to finish the cooking in the pan or something because they came back super greasy, the wrapping was super chewy and hard to eat. We also love their curry and Pad See Ewe (I think it is written that way - not sure), The curry was ok they are pretty consistent, but the noodles they gave us a very small portion and sauce didn't taste the same. Not sure if they change ownership or what, but this was our go to Thai restaurant in the area. Before our last visit, I would have given then 4-5 stars, but now I really can't. read more

I think this food was very flavorful and although it seemed a bit pricey at first the portions were big so it was worth it. I specifically loved the Khao Soi and the vegetable samosas. They also have a happy hour menu that includes both drinks and appetizers. The servers were very attentive and the food came out very quickly despite the restaurant being almost at capacity. The ambiance of the restaurant was very cozy and relaxing and based on the wardrobe of everyone you don't have to dress up too much to feel like you're fitting in, casual wardrobe will be just fine here. 10/10 would come again! read more

First- aside from one minor issue; this visit was perfect. The staff was nice and accommodating. The service was quick and the food was fantastic. The menu itself had a nice variety, especially for lunch. A lot of places will have a limited menu for lunch, but not here. The restaurant itself and bathroom were clean. The dining area had an older feel to it, which made it feel welcoming. But- the issue I had was a minor problem for me, only because I was made aware before I ate a second bite of my salad. The menu *does* state that there are peanuts used in some dishes. That's fine. They make it clear in the descriptions. However, I did not see anywhere that stated peanuts are also used in their salad dressing. That, especially since the peanut pieces used are so small, can be extremely dangerous! If it weren't for my son being there and noticing the bits of peanuts - I would have taken a second bite and would have had to run out to go get the neared Benadryl. There's a simple solution to this- ask the customer if they would like the peanut dressing on the salad? Because that salad looked good. But not for me. Or...maybe offer the dressing on the side? The point is: it's dangerous and I find it hard to believe that they haven't gotten this complaint before? Anyway: I will be returning, however I will decline the salad. read more

Eating in the restaurant is always delightful with a great staff but we do takeout even more and the food quality never suffers. My wife almost always gets the Pad Thai while I roam the menu. Yum! This was my first time eating Thai food and the food did not disappoint! They have two dollar beers for happy hour (M-F; 4-6). We ordered a few appetizers all which came out hot and fresh! The curry fries were really nice and hot and crispy and the sauce it came with had a really great taste. We had the chicken basil rolls which was good too couldn't really taste the basil, the peanut sauce went really well with the rolls. The chicken balls were on happy hour they were really really good and so was the chili sauce. Now as for the curry, they gave very large portions accompanied by jasmine rice. In the red curry there was a lot of the peppers, bamboo and protein. They had great and quick service. All the food came out piping hot which is a big plus for me! I left here full and happy. Wow, don't let the exterior fool ya, folks, this place is a gem! Super cool and modern inside and an exceptional menu. I met some friends for lunch and we ordered the special - scallops and eggplant in a curry sauce. The flavors were fantastic! Unfortunately my scallops were seared too hot and tasted burnt, but the texture was great. FINALLY! I've been on the hunt for a year for a great Thai place on this side of town for many months and this restaurant checks all the boxes. We came here on a weeknight just before 6 (was going to a show in downtown Orlando after) and were in and out in under an hour. They do have happy hour for select appetizers, but we had our hearts set on chicken satay so we got that. HUGE for an appetizer and shareable and loved the peanut sauce that came with it. I got chicken pad Thai and my husband got red curry. My pad thai was not spicy but they did have chili you could add to bump it up as much as you wanted. The curry was not overly spicy but did have a nice warm heat but didn't feel like it was overwhelming at all, super balanced. We will be back!! read more

This was our third time visiting Thailicious. The Good: -Very Friendly Staff, appears to be family owned, not a "chain". -Facility is following all COVID CDC Guidlines: Table Separation, Masks required for entry, all staff wore masks, gloves, Hand Sanitizer available at entrance....etc. -Food was nothing short of DELICIOUS! We enjoyed a bowl of my #1 Favorite Soup in the World, TOM YUM. The slight spice of the broth, combined with the lemongrass was PERFECT. We also both ordered the Pad Thai (Medium Heat). When we first started eating the Pad Thai, we were disappointed at the lack of "heat" of the dish. However, after a few more bites, the heat started creeping up and ended up being almost perfect for my taste. -The waiter made frequent stops to check in. -Outdoor tables were available, but it was around 50 degrees outside, so we stayed inside. The Bad: The only bad comment I have is, we arrived about 12:00 and they did not have a "lunch" menu with smaller portions and slightly lower prices. Not a big deal really, just a peeve I have. Again - Fantastic Food, Great Service at decent prices. I'm no expert on Thai Food, but I do eat Pad Thai whenever possible. I thought there version was good, with adequate spice & heat. This is a small restaurant offering great, fresh Thai food in a modern feeling space with a touch of flair. The inside is fairly small, with only 11 or so indoor tables and seating for maybe up to 12 people outdoors. But - the place was full for lunch the last time I went. With only 2 servers working on my last visit, the staff seemed a little overwhelmed and could have benefited from a manager upfront working the hostess table, seating people, handling the phone, etc. - unfortunately she jumped in to help just a little bit too late. The Thai Basil I had was DELICIOUS - fresh zuchini and peppers; tender well-seasoned chicken; large lunch portion. The sauce was great - the spice level was very smooth and well rounded. It came with a small 2oz complimentary house salad with half slice cucumber, carrot shreds, and bagged lettuce mix. The portion and prices were really good though - $7.95 lunch offering, and dinner looked to average around $11.95ish. Overall, great choice for Thai northeast of Orlando - I will be back and recommend it for a solid Thai restaurant in area. But - you may want to call ahead for seating availability! read more

My first time coming and being very displeased. I ordered the Drunken Noodle lunch entree as I have done since 2010. The noodles were all mushy and were not in the form of noodles. I informed Ont (the manager at the time) and he told me that the noodles were homemade and being that the restaurant was using the top batch of prepared noodles, that is how all the noodles will come out. He offered me another option and handed me a menu. This happened to me a few times in the past and the manager remade my meal with noodles that were in tact and not mushy. Obviously, Ont was not having it! I would have ordered another entree had Ont not been so abrupt. I feel that customer service is no longer important. We opted for take out for tonight's dinner. The restaurant has a nice decor, somewhat romantic and a beautiful patio for additional seating. We ordered summer rolls that were fresh and came with a sauce that had pickled flavor. My preference is a peanut sauce so i would ask about other options. We also had the chicken spring rolls that were also very good. For entrees we had Bangkok Chicken that a little spicy with a good flavor, Spicy Eggplant with chicken and other veggies that could have had more eggplant. And the special today was Khao Soi that we had with pork. This dish was spicy yellow curry with noodles and scallons. The curry was really spicy and delicious.
