When I asked about being called if there was a cancellation, I was told they didn't do that. I told them we would look elsewhere. We found another dentist and are happy. 2 months later, on a Sunday, we got a nasty note saying we were over due for health care, when I spoke with someone in the office today, she advised me there was no record of the text. When asked again, she suggested it was part of their automated system. My spouse is a retired dental hygiene instructor and I am retired corporate management. Extremely poor management and average care.

The only reason it's 2 stars is because, if you're lucky you get a hygienist that does a really…read moregood Job. When you make an appointment, you don't choose the dentist. So, for example, I've never had the same dentist twice. Either the dentist is no longer there, isn't working that day, or whatever the excuse of the day is. Every single appointment has been with a different dentist. Front office is flat out rude; but that type of rude that's done with a smile. Huge "bless your heart" vibes. They also like to play games about insurance, saying that they accept your insurance but then, miraculously, when paying they no longer accept it. Different people get charged different amounts for the same procedures. For example 3 adults in my family all had x-rays, fluoride, and cleaning. Charges ranged from 200 - 450. All of us had the same amount of time, and the itemized receipts (other than the costs) were the same. That was the final straw for us. Even if you were happy with your work, when you leave you're left with the impression of the office being greedy, game players (with your money), and of course... bless your heart.

This high level of service and concern carries through the rest of the office in every step of the process. Inarguably dental needs for mo st people are among our highest anxiety causing medical procedures. Comprehensive's staff Doctors including Elizabeth Rojas and Andrew Martin and assistants, Trey Ford to name one, are acutely aware and sensitive to this and offer constant reassurance and updates as to what they are doing and timing in the current process. While dental work is costly the expense at Comprehensive is offset by, as is included in their office's name, the provision of comprehensive services, making costly and time consuming referrals unnecessary. I must admit that the extent of procedures currently planned are the result of 30 years of neglect on my part but knowing that all of the work will be carried out by one staff in one location make the experience easier. Thank you Comprehensive, Cindy and James Young

I chose Gainesville Dentistry Co. based on the reviews I saw on Apple Maps, and I was not disappointed! Everyone I interacted with was kind and welcoming, and the office itself didn't look like a medical office, it was cozy and homey. The person who did my cleaning, Heather, did an excellent job. I appreciated that she explained everything before she did it, something that I didn't remember from my previous dentist experiences. I also thought that their new patient special was a good deal. Overall, a very positive experience! If you're looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Feldman and his team!

After complaining, they made a second denture and delivered it on May 26, 2026 - it was equally unfinished and unwearable. Both appliances had visible processing ridges on the interior acrylic, improperly shaped posterior teeth, and failed to seat properly against my gumline. When I requested a full refund for services not delivered as contracted, the office refused to issue any refund whatsoever. The manager's response when I stated I would be filing complaints was "do whatever you want." I have since filed a formal complaint with the Florida Board of Dentistry and submitted a demand letter requesting my $2,800 back. I also have photographic evidence of both unfinished dentures. Dr. Feldman has impressive credentials and awards. That makes it even harder to understand how two consecutive unfinished dentures were delivered to a patient and then refused a refund. Their own core values posted on their website state "Take ownership, Always be patient-centric, and Engage and build trust." None of those values were demonstrated in my experience. I would not recommend this practice for denture work.

I get my yearly cleaning and then get seen every 6 months I believe. So far I see that they are very clean and detailed in their procedures. The past appointments I've had , I have noticed that I can bring up concerns and ask for advice and they are always so friendly to explain things to me. I always ask the why a procedure is being recommended and never feel pressured to say yes to anything. I feel in control of making my own decisions and that I can deny anything I don't feel comfortable with, but never have once felt uneasy. I like when I go to health care or dentist appointments and can trust that they are knowledgeable and patient enough to teach me about my health. I believe advocating for one's health is important. Also every visit I always am greeted with a welcoming smile from the front desk ladies. I would come back and am glad that I am able to have most services covered by my insurance . The only thing they didn't cover was my fluoride which is quiet expensive . Seeing the breakdown of the before and after insurance sheet was eye opening. I don't know if I would be able to attend dental visits if I didn't have insurance because I can see how these procedures can add up and the concerns of the past reviews because it is in the higher end in my opinion. I do wish they offered the price sheet at the beginning of the appointment , granted they offered it to me to sign before the procedure is done but you feel obligated to sign after they evaluate you so I can see how some people feel pressured . Though I did decline one service I wish again that there was we cost transparency at the beginning when you walk through the doors.

I had my wisdom teeth extracted surgically in office and I had no problems after. Everything went smoothly and I healed up quick. Now I come back every six months for my teeth cleaning. After being a patient here for several years, I feel it's important to share my recent experience,…read morewhich ultimately led me to move my entire family to another dental office. I recently had a dental emergency around lunchtime that neither my dentist nor anyone else in the practice could accommodate. What was most disappointing wasn't just the lack of availability; but the complete absence of any solution. No referral, no guidance, no contingency plan for an established (waitlist for cancelation), loyal patient in need. To be clear, the hygienists and even back office payment staff here are wonderful, and I will genuinely miss those interactions. However, the doctors personal phone staff and overall customer service fell far short. Basic patient support (especially during an emergency) should be a standard, not an exception. It was like common sense and compassion was missing from this Doctors personal team, just beyond disappointing. For a well-established practice, not having any after-hours options, emergency protocols, or even the ability to point patients in the right direction to a referral/partner office shows a concerning lack of care and consideration for loyal clientele and honestly borderline negligence to their patience overall dental needs. New Flash: Life actually continues after 5pm. Because I was left without help/guidance, I had to search elsewhere on my own. Thankfully, I found another dental office that treated me quickly, compassionately, and efficiently. That experience made the contrast very clear. As a result, this office has lost not only me as a long time client but my entire family; and unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this dental practice to others as I have in the past. Customer service matters. Even when you can't solve the problem directly, showing effort, compassion, and a willingness to help goes a long way. That was missing here, perhaps this review will inspire them to make the needed changes so another client does not have this experience.
