This review would be all about the buffet since I haven't ordered any choices on their menu. The buffet got a few selections from noodles, white rice, fried rice, crispy rolls, fried chicken wings, and stir fry chicken with veggies. Moreover, there are about two choices of soups that I recall and stir away from, this is because of the usage of canned coconut milk that is just overwhelming, or is it fish sauce!. During this few last trips, I found the taste to be bland and the selections not appealing because they use chicken with everything. The price is $7.-- and that is probably a cost control decision since chicken is priced less then most protein. But I will definitely try their menu items as well as visit the other Thai places in the area. read more

I've eaten here one before. I didn't review them then because I wasn't impressed. However, they have some really good Thai iced tea, so I stopped in to grab a cup (large with minimum ice). The menu states one price (3.25...which is a lot for drink btw) but he was going to charge me $5.00 because I wanted less ice. I understand that less ice = more tea, but $1.75??!! It wasn't unlimited refills, or a larger cup. I politely cancelled the request for the Thai tea and left the restaurant. I won't be back and given the appearance (it was dark inside at 15:00, there were no customers present & I had to double check that they were open), I'd think they'd be more inclined to render better service especially regarding something like this. read more

I always judge a Thai restaurant based on how well they make their most basic dish. I ordered PadThai noodles and it was disappointing. It was dry and eggs were burned, the chicken tasted funny so I took it all off my plate. The fresh spring rolls was just all mainly lettuce inside and hardly any meat. I really enjoyed my food here. I got the combo chicken, pork and beef with pineapple and carrots. Everything was taste with just the right amount of curry in it. Nice looking, large dining room. My friend and I didn't exactly know what we wanted, so, the owner came out and guided us to some tasty choices. We started with an order of chicken egg rolls that were delicious. I can't remember the name of my entree, but, it had a mix of beef, pork, and shrimp over noodles. I like spicy food, and it delivered. It was not to the point of being 3rd degree, mouth-on-fire, permanent damage spicy though. It had a lot of flavor besides being spicy. I would have never imagined that there would be a great Thai restaurant in Killeen. This Thai restaurant is a match for any Thai restaurants in SoCal. Anything I ordered here was good. My favorites, and in this order, was Larb Pork, Pad Thai Chicken, and Thai Red Curry. I ordered from this restaurant almost every weekend when I lived in Killeen. Portion Size were huge; but the dishes are a little pricey, it was about 10 dollars each dish but it was worth it. read more

I was in Killeen on business and had a craving for Thai food. I decided to try this restaurant based on Yelp reviews, and it did not disappoint. I am probably not the most adventurous Thai food eater, and so I decided on the pad Thai with chicken. It was served hot and delicious, and the quantity was enough for me to take half home for lunch tomorrow. I stopped in for an early dinner so there were no other diners in the restaurant, although several customers came in to pick up take-out items. It would've been nice if maybe there was quiet music playing since the restaurant was empty and quiet. So far I've been there twice and had Pad Thai (my go to dish) and fried whole fish with curry sauce. They were both awesome. The fried fish was crispy and the curry sauce was full of flavor but not too overwhelming served with some white rice on the side and Thai Tea to wash it down....can't wait to take my coworker and introduce her to Thai food. read more

Visited this place for lunch. Food was delicious and the portions are awesome. Menu is vast and accommodates a majority of Thai dishes. Most of the selections can be customized to your liking (huge plus for me), and the staff is very friendly and co-operative. Prices are decent because they match the quality and quantity of the serving sizes you get. Dining in is not bad, interior is not loud and we felt comfortable for the duration. If you're a first timer here, i recommend the Curry dishes and they make it spicy to your liking. I gave 4/5 stars for the limited drink selection but i am a returning customer. read more

This is the best Thai food that I have ever had. I have visited Thailand before and the quality of food at the Tham Rab Thai restaurant was just as good. We had the Won Ton Soup, delicious and the serving was more than two could finish and still leave room for our main courses. We also had the appetizer sample platter, the steamed dumpling were excellent as were the fried rolls. The sample platter had crab rangoon, the BEST I have ever had. They added a touch of curry to the cream cheese and what a difference it made. My wife ordered Pad Thai with chicken, EXCELLENT!! It could have been a little hotter for me but it was seasoned to her taste. I had Massaman curry with chicken. They put sweet potatoes in the curry as well as pineapple. That curry tied for the best curry I have ever eaten. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants authentic Thai cuisine. Don't let the location (inside an old shopping center) fool you, this is the best. Looking forward to trying their lunch buffet. read more

I am not local but wanted Thai good during a 2 day stay. The restaurant had only one waiter and it took a long time for them to tend to a large party who were there for 3 hours. My friend and I were starving and we were looking on Yelp to see any good Thai places and this place was the first place to pop up. We went and we ordered and the food was amazing.
