    Vegetable Momo

I've been exploring the available Nepalese food in the Hurst/Euless/Bedford area, and this one stood out to me as exceptionally good. I had the vegetarian momos as my meal. Generous portion of 10 (ate one before the picture). My large draft beer and the momos came out to $15 before a tip. Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff. They have an adorable outdoor seating area, on a warm night it's a great place to just sit and relax. It feels like a hidden gem in the area, they deserve to be way busier!!

The service was great & the food was tasty, but it took a LONG time to get my food. The atmosphere was lively but on a Monday, I did not expect to wait like I would expect on a Friday. There was also a mix up with my thali - the menu listed mixed vegetables but only cauliflower (which I don't like) was included. My server rectified it quickly so for that - I will come back but probably for takeout

This place is quickly becoming my new favorite for Indian/Nepalese food in the area. They have the coolest little patio and a cute little bar area as well. I love their food, and it's probably the best priced in the area. Customer service is great; the owners and team have always been super friendly each time I've visited!

Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Shrimp Curry, Chicken Curry, plain, butter, and garlic naan. All amazing!

This place showed up near our hotel and had good ratings on Yelp. So we decided to give it a try. It was the best!!! The host/owner/bartender was gracious, informative, and talented. Every dish we tried was excellent! Our table was full of yummy cuisine. The owner even brought out a few traditional dishes for us to try (no charge): spiced goat, curry pickles, and spicy soy beans. All truly amazing! Next time I'm near DFW, I will make it a point to eat here again. If you have the chance, run (don't walk) to eat here for some incredible Indian and Nepali food!

Butter Chicken was recycled chicken. Chicken was old and dry. Rice seemed days old as well. Save your money and go to Tandoor in Arlington.

When I'm in the mood for a cozy and hearty feast, I think peppers and spices and soups and sauces and rice. Desi Chulha's menu is quintessential Indian cuisine. And one of my fave things about Indian food is that you often have something super savory and spicy paired with something cool and bright -- that contrast is just the best. Like the aloo tikka chaat, for example: perfectly boiled potatoes, onions, and all kinds of spices served piping hot alongside a mint-coriander yogurt sauce and chickpeas... Yes, please! And that's just a single appetizer. I'm a big fan of both the lentil and tomato soups, the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, aloo matar (potatoes & peas), saag paneer (spinach & Indian cheese), any kebab, and all of the rice! I plan to make my way through the entire menu (whatever is gluten free).

Butter chicken was a little bland, and the onion culture was very loaded with onions, a little bit too much for me, but if you LOVE onions then get it. All in all a good spot worthy of a return visit.

Authentic Pakistani Food Experience at Chandni Chowk - Fort Worth…read moreDuring my recent stay in Fort Worth, I found myself craving authentic Pakistani food -- the kind that instantly transports you back to the bustling food streets of Karachi. Outside of a few global hubs like London, Mississauga (Canada), or certain pockets of Texas, it's rare to find that level of authenticity. After some searching, I decided to try Chandni Chowk. That choice turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Atmosphere Chandni Chowk is not the kind of restaurant you visit for upscale décor or polished ambience. The setting is modest, unpretentious, and straightforward. But that's part of its charm -- here, the focus is squarely on the food. If you're looking for chandeliers and white tablecloths, this isn't the place. But if you're chasing flavor and authenticity, you're in the right spot. The Food Beef Biryani I started with the beef biryani, and it was nothing short of excellent. The rice was aromatic, each grain perfectly separated and infused with spices. The beef was tender to the point of melting in my mouth, while the spice blend carried a depth of flavor -- hints of plum, cilantro, and lemon weaving through without overpowering the dish. A side of fresh onion, green chilies, and lemon wedges elevated the biryani to another level, adding crunch, heat, and freshness. Chicken Seekh Kebab Next came the chicken seekh kebab. It arrived sizzling on a bed of onions and lemon, the smoky aroma filling the room. The kebab was beautifully textured -- crisp on the outside while remaining soft, juicy, and tender inside. The seasoning was bold, slightly fiery, and true to authentic Pakistani street food. Chicken Tikka Leg The chicken tikka leg rounded out my meal. With its charred exterior, juicy interior, and perfectly balanced spices, it tasted exactly like the kind of tikka you'd find at a Karachi food stall. It was nostalgic, hearty, and utterly satisfying. Service One of the highlights of my visit was the service. I was looked after by Mujeeb, who was not only attentive but also clearly passionate about food. During our conversation, he explained how much effort goes into sourcing quality ingredients and monitoring their preparation. It was obvious that this isn't just business for him -- it's something he takes pride in. His enthusiasm added an extra layer to the experience. Practical Notes For those who might be wondering -- parking is plentiful and directly outside the restaurant, which makes dining here hassle-free. Conclusion Chandni Chowk may not dazzle you with its appearance, but it excels where it truly matters: flavor, authenticity, and heart. Every dish I tried reminded me of Karachi's vibrant food streets, making this more than just a meal -- it was a nostalgic journey. If you're in Fort Worth and want genuine Pakistani cuisine, Chandni Chowk is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone, whether you're already a fan of Pakistani food or eager to explore it for the first time.

The restaurant is large with a nice bar area and the service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Chili Momos (Veg) and Gobi Manchurian - the momos were super crispy and the sauce was very spicy in a good way! The Manchurian was so saucy and packed with flavor. Recommend both! Mains: Himalayan Thukpa, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta - the Thukpa was the highlight! The broth was perfectly salty with a great umami taste. The Malai Kofta was rich and I enjoyed the cheesy koftas. The Palak Paneer was tasty, but I enjoyed the malai and thukpa more! Dessert: Pistachio Cheesecake - delicious! More like a pistachio ice cream cake, but it was so good and not too sweet! The Himalayan thali was the highlight naan so soft it felt like clouds, and lentil curry that carried deep, cozy flavors. The chowmein with lamb and chicken had that smoky stir-fry kick, and the momos were a joy to try. The butter tikka momos were creamy and rich, while the choila momos with the chef's sauce brought a spicy spark that stayed with me. The drinks matched the season perfectly. The Gurkhas Old Fashioned was smooth with a twist, and the hot rum punch felt like warmth in a glass just right for winter. The place itself was cozy, with a vibe that made me want to linger. Even during busy hours the staff stayed friendly, though the food took a little longer to arrive. Still, the service felt welcoming. Altogether, the mix of food, drinks, and atmosphere made the evening memorable in its own way.

Cant believe I never wrote a review for this restaurant!!…read more This is my favorite, go to for Indian food. I usually only come here for the buffet and I have never been disappointed by it. The food is always hot and constantly being made. The flavors are amazing and they have veggie options as well. They have a salad section as well as a dessert station as well. I never seen it be busy, it has good customer service and is very clean. That rice is so fluffy I would eat that everyday, my favorite dish after that is probably the chicken tikka masala. Then the tandori chicken is finger-licking good paired with some of their nan bread. The spice level is not crazy like other places so I think why so many people come here as well, because its a nice balance on flavor and spice. Like I mentioned before, I only been here for the buffet but I am sure their regular dinner services by the plate are just as delicious. Highly recommend coming here if you are in the area to try it out.

They really know how to securely pack up a to-go order, I'll tell you that. I know we don't live far away, but still. It always arrives piping hot. Besides the obvious and ever-beloved chicken tikka masala (insanely good), I'm a big fan of their Mulligatawny Mughlai Soup (lentil soup with rice and chicken). It's super savory with a little lemony brightness. Ultra comfort food! We're also big fans of their veggie biryani: super fragrant basmati rice all dolled up with fresh veggies, paneer, raisins, and almonds. We also love their Bombay potatoes (spicy potatoes with mustard seed) and their Chana Masala Punjabi: spicy chick peas, potatoes, and onions in a tomato and onion gravy. How good does that sound?!
