I give this place 0 stars. Long wait for food and we asked for mild spicy and all food is extremely spicy. Also food that we received after long wait was not edible. Onion bhaji was burned. Last thing no one available to place order or ask for water. Most horrible experience ever.

Ambuance is good. Service is decent. Food is tasty. I will not say all dishes are really good but momos for sure are very tasty and their chutney is to the point.

Each dish was so delicious! The Naan bread fresh and tasty. Loved the Chicken Tika Masala and Samosas. Great place to try new Spicy food

Food was good but spice levels were off. I asked for a 5, and had almost no spice. My husband asked for a 10, and you'd think we had to call the fire department. Overall food was good and we will return to try again. It was quiet the night we went, but don't let it fool you. The food is good and it's great to support local business!

    Chicken Momo - must try!

Best decision for a Friday date night evening was to try this local Indian restaurant. We have passed it many time but first time to stop in. Small space, clean and nice wait staff. They do a lot of carry out (like most places post-COVID-19), which was a good sign. We had vegetable samosas and chicken momo for appetizers and we were not disappointed! The server was very friendly, explained spice level and wonderful conversation. You can tell it is a family restaurant and they made everyone feel welcomed. We love supporting local restaurants - we will definitely be back - thank you for a wonderful evening!

One of the best Indian restaurants around! The food is so flavorful on all dishes and make you full but not an overstuffed feeling type of full. The vibe and friendly staff add to the experience.

Hands down some of the best Indian food I have ever had! The butter chicken was delicious and I highly recommend the garlic naan to go with it. They had very nice staff and the customer service sent it over the top!

Tonight I discovered Chicken 65. It did not disappoint, and neither does The Gurkha. We've been ordering from them for a least a year now and they are simply the best. Not to mention, their prices are a bit cheaper than some other Indian restaurants nearby. Great food, great prices, and great portion sizes. Would recommend! Here's a pic of the Chicken 65 I'm still nipping away at hours after dinner...

Nice neighborhood spot for Nepalese and Indian food. I'm not usually a vegetarian, but I love paneer dishes. Gurkha has several on the menu I haven't tried anywhere else. Got the matar paneer for lunch and really enjoyed it - wonderfully flavorful and spicy. There's a bar there - although I saw what looked like beer taps, the manager said they only have bottles and cans. Good and prompt service - when I accidentally left my credit card at the restaurant, the manager came scurrying out to give it to me. Will definitely be back!

The Gurkha Bar And Grill - is 1000% DELICIOUS Nepali|Indian cuisine! I had the pleasure of visiting Nepal in 2014 - Kathmandu, Chitwan (where Gurkha owners are from), Bandipur, Pokhara and Phewa Lake - and discovered the wonderful spices of Nepal. Come experience the flavors of Nepal and India in Euless, Texas - without the 15 hour flight to Doha, and another 4 hours to Kathmandu. Just a few short miles north of Viridian (in Arlington), on N. Euless Main St @ E. Harwood Rd, in the SE Quadrant, next to Kroger. Try the Lamb Vindaloo - watch the spice level. 3 was perfect for me and I like it hot! The Naan is hot and fresh! The Chili Chicken is a great appetizer! Great service, friendly people! Namaste! And they have a full bar!

Authentic Pakistani Food Experience at Chandni Chowk - Fort Worth…read moreDuring my recent stay in Fort Worth, I found myself craving authentic Pakistani food -- the kind that instantly transports you back to the bustling food streets of Karachi. Outside of a few global hubs like London, Mississauga (Canada), or certain pockets of Texas, it's rare to find that level of authenticity. After some searching, I decided to try Chandni Chowk. That choice turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Atmosphere Chandni Chowk is not the kind of restaurant you visit for upscale décor or polished ambience. The setting is modest, unpretentious, and straightforward. But that's part of its charm -- here, the focus is squarely on the food. If you're looking for chandeliers and white tablecloths, this isn't the place. But if you're chasing flavor and authenticity, you're in the right spot. The Food Beef Biryani I started with the beef biryani, and it was nothing short of excellent. The rice was aromatic, each grain perfectly separated and infused with spices. The beef was tender to the point of melting in my mouth, while the spice blend carried a depth of flavor -- hints of plum, cilantro, and lemon weaving through without overpowering the dish. A side of fresh onion, green chilies, and lemon wedges elevated the biryani to another level, adding crunch, heat, and freshness. Chicken Seekh Kebab Next came the chicken seekh kebab. It arrived sizzling on a bed of onions and lemon, the smoky aroma filling the room. The kebab was beautifully textured -- crisp on the outside while remaining soft, juicy, and tender inside. The seasoning was bold, slightly fiery, and true to authentic Pakistani street food. Chicken Tikka Leg The chicken tikka leg rounded out my meal. With its charred exterior, juicy interior, and perfectly balanced spices, it tasted exactly like the kind of tikka you'd find at a Karachi food stall. It was nostalgic, hearty, and utterly satisfying. Service One of the highlights of my visit was the service. I was looked after by Mujeeb, who was not only attentive but also clearly passionate about food. During our conversation, he explained how much effort goes into sourcing quality ingredients and monitoring their preparation. It was obvious that this isn't just business for him -- it's something he takes pride in. His enthusiasm added an extra layer to the experience. Practical Notes For those who might be wondering -- parking is plentiful and directly outside the restaurant, which makes dining here hassle-free. Conclusion Chandni Chowk may not dazzle you with its appearance, but it excels where it truly matters: flavor, authenticity, and heart. Every dish I tried reminded me of Karachi's vibrant food streets, making this more than just a meal -- it was a nostalgic journey. If you're in Fort Worth and want genuine Pakistani cuisine, Chandni Chowk is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone, whether you're already a fan of Pakistani food or eager to explore it for the first time.

We tried their thali, so we could try a bit of all of dishes. They were so kind they let us make substitutions for the thali so we could try exactly what we wanted. With the very generous Thali offer that lets you mix and match as you please, you get any biryani, curry, tandoor item and naan of your choice!! I'm SHOOK at how nice of a deal it is! Most thali's have preselected items so the fact that you can choose exactly the items you want is truly a unique and special thing about this restaurant! We ordered the Karachi chicken biryani since it's their special, garlic naan, tandoor chicken and a lamb curry! It took about 15-20 minutes to get our food but it was worth the wait. We ordered to-go, however, once it arrived, the smell of the food was too good to resist so we just got a table to eat there. They provided bottled water as well. The food tasted home cooked and very very flavorful! I HIGHLY recommend this place when you are in the mood for some good biryani or chicken/lamb dishes! Everything is also Halal in case you only eat Halal! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Dallas.

Stopped here on a whim looking for a place to eat and trying to avoid fast food. As others have noted, it's a big open space. Decor was very minimal and it seemed like some parts were in the middle of some amount of renovation. Bathrooms could've used a little help but nothing crazy. We had chicken dum biryani, paneer masala, garlic naan and a mango lassi. Prices are a little high but not crazy for 2025. Portions were very large, in particular the biryani which was exceedingly generous. The paneer and naan were above average, the lassi was phenomenal, and the biryani was good but less exceptional. The food came in takeout containers which might be a turn off but it was fine since we had to take half of it home anyway. Service was a little slow but it was an off hour when we were there. Overall the food was very good and worth a stop if you're driving by. Tons of veg options as well. The atmosphere and service are very basic but it didn't bother me. The portions are big which is good to save for later considering how filling it is. Cons- It's definitely on the more pricey side and I would go here more often if it was cheaper. The naan is soo expensive. They charge almost $5 for one single piece of garlic naan. My friend goes in to order, I stay in the car so he says the service isn't that great.
