(This place has moved! So it is not closed, I posted their new info at the bottom of my review)…read more This is not my first time here. (I found this place after a yelp search) I saw photos and reviews of future brides literally trusting this place with the most important clothing item in the world.. their wedding dress At my first visit, I brought in a Versace cape. it was on sale, except it was 3 sizes too big. I was a little nervous since this cape did have embroidery and heavy detail on the sides, so I knew it was going to be hard to do, but she said it wouldn't be a huge issue. But she did see it immediately and pointed out she could only take it in so much so it didn't ruin the embroidery pattern. She gave me a quote that was under 100 dollars (so, it was totally worth buying on sale even though I knew it was 3 sizes too big and would need altered) (she literally saved me thousands) She called me about 2-3 days later for pick up, and she knocked it out of the park I came back in for more alterations and I was immediately greeted by the owner,Kim, who is so warm and friendly. She's extremely honest about what CAN and CANNOT be done. And, gives you honest prices. She really aims to get the job done and up to everyone's standards to make sure everyone is happy. She's so professional yet so warm and friendly. I seriously love how talented, Kim is. I brought in a Gucci cardigan that had a little snag in it that was turning into a BIG snag. She was honest about the fact she couldn't do much. I told her it did not have to be perfect, I just did not want it getting worse. She actually called me same day and told me it was ready for pick up. The job she did was FLAWLESS! And she charged only 20 dollars Then, my third visit. I needed these items done. -light blue dress that needed taken in because it was a size too big -a sheer maxi dress that needed taken in all over and about 9 inches taken off the bottom -blazer style dress that needed taken in And a couple other items. However, I noticed the owner, Kim, who was there for 20 years had already moved. Please, spread the word. If you or anyone you know, needs some tailoring by highly qualified professional with tons of experience and family owned. I'm extremely sad this tailoring staple in OC has moved due to the rent almost doubling. They have been around for 20 years. She did say she would be doing some work from home and at other locations (fountain valley) -I'll definitely bring all my summer dresses that need fixed *their statement We have relocated to a private Fountain Valley studio! We are open via appointments only. Please schedule on our website tktailoring.com. If you have any questions, please reach out to our number at (714)848-3132.

I am traveling at the moment and had my jeep full with my two dogs as well and said I could not come back, but I appreciate them taking their time at that point the Man said they could definitely do it right now if I didn't mind hand sewn. The woman proceeded to hand sew it and take a break from what she was doing, which was super nice !! upon inspection of getting the bag back, I could barely tell where it had been repaired. It was seamless!! and the best sewing work I have ever seen. I can sew kind of I can sew weaves wigs, etc. as a hairstylist and my mom is a great seamstress, but does not live in the area and I have never seen such beautiful work. They were both so kind and had a chair for me to sit in with a fan as we talked about the World Cup I think everyone should know about this place. It is really an example of how a tailor &cleaners should be. I will remember this experience for a while. It was very exemplary!!

They made my white fur coat look brand new and had it ready the very next day for my photo/video shoot when everyone else told me it would take a few days. All the girls called me polar bear at the party. Suit looks great and ready to deal with finance district folks. Unbeatable customer service, prices, and speed. He charged me $10 for my white fur coat (cash). I brought the suit in another day. Great family vibes here. You won't regret bringing your favorite articles of clothing here. Your trust will never be broken at this hidden gem.

Nino Tailoring & Alterations - Quilty was amazing clothes fit perfectly !

Nino Tailoring & Alterations

I truly cannot say enough about my experience with Tutu and Ninos Tailoring. I honestly almost…read morecried at my final fitting because I was so overwhelmed with gratitude and relief. Three weeks before my wedding, the tailor I had trusted completely backed out after keeping my dress for weeks. She told me my gown was too complicated, would take over 8 weeks to alter, and would cost more than $1,000 because of the intricate beading and construction. She said it would practically have to be reconstructed. I panicked. I spent an entire day driving around Orange County visiting several highly-rated alteration shops, and every single one told me some version of the same thing: it was too difficult, the beading would have to be compromised, the train might need to change, or it would cost an outrageous amount. By the time I walked into Ninos, I was emotionally exhausted and expecting another "no." The shop itself is very unassuming, tucked away in an older office building. I'll admit I was skeptical. After visiting large, well-known shops with multiple seamstresses, I didn't think this little tailor shop would be the one to save my wedding dress. I have never been happier to be wrong. From the moment I met Tutu and her husband, they made me feel welcome. They are one of the sweetest couples I've ever met. Tutu immediately noticed how stressed I was. She closed the blinds for privacy, turned the AC up because I was sweating from anxiety, and simply let me breathe. Then she confidently looked at my dress and said she could do it. Not only could she do it--she could do ALL of it. She took my waist in 4 inches, altered my bust so it fit perfectly, hemmed SEVEN layers of dress, added a bustle, resized my detachable sleeves, added buttons to hold them in place, and worked around intricate beading that every other shop acted like was impossible. Her price? $600. After being quoted over $1,000 and told it couldn't realistically be done, I honestly wanted to hug her. I'll admit, I was still nervous. Every time I repeated what the other shops had warned me about, Tutu would simply smile, wave her hand, and say, "It's okay. I got it." She never dismissed my fears--only the negativity. Her confidence was incredibly comforting. Then she somehow completed everything in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS. I dropped my dress off on a Friday. She wanted me back by Tuesday. I ended up going Thursday, less than a week later, and my dress already fit like an absolute glove. I only requested one tiny adjustment in the bust, and a few days later it was completely finished. When I picked it up, I cried. My bust had originally been several sizes too large, and I was convinced there was no way to make it look natural without reconstructing the dress. Tutu worked literal magic. There was no gaping, no awkward pulling, and no visible evidence of the alterations. It looked like the dress had been custom made for me. She also preserved the beautiful train that everyone else wanted to compromise. She even gave me FOUR different alteration options, carefully explained the pros and cons of each, and helped me choose what would look best. She genuinely cared about doing the job the right way--not the easiest way. On my wedding day I received so many compliments on how perfectly my dress fit. Before I left, she also took the time to show me exactly how to fasten the bustle, put on my sleeves correctly, and care for the dress so nothing would get damaged. That level of care meant so much. I almost didn't come here because I saw one negative bridal review. I obviously can't speak to someone else's experience, but mine could not have been more different. I brought in a $4,000 wedding gown that multiple professionals considered nearly impossible, and Tutu handled it with incredible skill, kindness, patience, and professionalism. Every time I visited, the shop was busy. I saw sheriff uniforms, men's clothing, everyday alterations, and multiple wedding dresses waiting to be worked on. It's obvious people trust her. I'm writing this review because, when I was in complete wedding panic, I desperately wished another bride had shared a story like mine. If you're reading this while stressed, overwhelmed, or wondering if your dress can be saved, please go see Tutu. When I dropped my dress off, I told my family, "This is either going to be the biggest diamond in the rough or I just paid to have my wedding dress destroyed." I'm so thankful to say it was absolutely the diamond in the rough. Thank you, Tutu. You didn't just alter my dress--you genuinely made my wedding day possible. Your kindness calmed me during one of the most stressful moments of wedding planning, and your talent exceeded every expectation I had. I will recommend Ninos to every bride, friend, and family member I know.
