Julie's cleaners is a treasure. They do such a great job with everything from comforters to suede boots. The prices are reasonable and I know the job will be well done. But more specifically I am here to give praise for the owner. I had my sleeping baby in the car and here I come trying to juggle picking up a queen comforter and a car seat with my sleeping. The owner helped me put my baby back in the car safely and brought out my comforter to the car. Okay so I've been holding out on leaving a review for this place for the past 8 months. I'm SO happy I turned to Yelp. The gentleman behind the counter is ALWAYS ALWAYS so courtesy, professional and extremely helpful- with helping me load the clothes into my car a few times when I have to pick up a bunch of clothes. I come here every single week to pick up and drop off stuff for myself and the Mr on my way to visit my parents in OC. The Mr thinks I'm nuts for driving all the way to OC to get our dry cleaning - for one it's less expensive than the wretched place by my house that my husband has been going to for the past 20 years and secondly, and perhaps the most important - I don't get any attitude. Just quick , professional, fair pricing and the clothes are always clean without any issues. What more could you ask for? read more

I haven't had anything dry-cleaned here, but had my daughter measured, pants hemmed & boots re-heeled. I needed to get my daughter measured for a flowergirl dress: FREE! I had a pair of pants where one pantleg hem was strategically held up by staples (yes, I know, SMH): $3! It was supposed to be $4, but I only had $3 on me - he graciously took it as full payment. And it took him all of 5 minutes to fix the hem...magic! Boots re-heeled: $18. I also brought in a pair of shoes to be re-soled. He recommended I just buy a new pair of shoes! They do an adequate job on the dry cleaning part and they're on my way from home from work but they close at random times. Not like 15 minutes early here and there but sometimes in the middle of the day at 330. It sucks because sometimes I want to drop things off on my way in from work and they're closed. Sometimes at 5pm I swing by to pick up and they're closed. Today was the nail in the coffin, I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

We have been coming here for years. Lately the service, hasn't been so good. A while back, my mom took a jacket to be washed. She picked it up and noticed right away that it wasn't washed right since it still had the soap or whatever they use on it. My mom let them know and they received it back kind of mad, with attitude. They returned it with a hole. My mom was so sad bc it was an expensive and one of her faves. However, my dad still goes to them. He picked up his shirts today and they were exactly how he dropped them off, not ironed. I told him not to take them back because I was scared they would damage them like they did to my mom. It is sad. I am not sure if it's one of her workers doing that. I hope that they will improve their services again. I hate leaving bad reviews but this is the second time they do this read more

I started going here around 2007 once I was educated on how much better wet cleaning is compared to dry cleaning. I've been going here even when I moved to Buena Park and still do so now as I'm in Huntington Beach. I usually bring my work clothes here and they always do a great job cleaning and pressing my stuff. David, the owner, is usually there til 3 and always treats his customers well. At first I was surprised he remembered my name then I eventually got used to it. The place I went before this was a dry cleaning place and they never remembered me and even sometimes messed up my clothes! The prices are reasonable and fair considering it's a few steps above dry cleaning. I've done t-shirts, button-up shirts, jeans, dress pants, dress shirts and full suits. Never had an issue. They also do shoe repair and polishing. A year back I had my nicer pair of dress shoes polished, replaced the Topy and replaced the in-soles. Very high quality work. Jaime is the in-house tailor. She's really good at hemming pants and altering suits and shirts. I've had a few dress pants hemmed and they feel so much better now and don't drag when I walk. Good stuff here. I definitely recommend this place if you want a little more personal interaction with the people who do your cleaning for your nicer clothes and items. read more

I was looking for a new dry cleaners to go to after the place I had gone to clearly didn't know how to iron blouses. I had creases in awkward places and I ended up re-ironing it when I got home. After being disappointed I found Julie's and thought I'd try them out since it's close to where I live. I had a jacket, couples blouses, a skirt, and a couple pairs of pants and was satisfied with all my clothes! The customer service was great and my clothes looked great. Tried calling to get information in prices and directions. Never answered the phone. I called about 5 times in between 1:15 and 1:30 and no one picked up. Julie's Drycleaner is quick, friendly, and inexpensive. Clothes usually take 2 days to pick up. The only downside I found was that they can't really fully remove stains from whites :( But I love Julie's because its among the better and very close to everything. read more

This Dry Cleaner and Tailor are absolutely the most courteous and professional I have used in many years, they get the cleaning and alterations done exceptionally well, the first time, and they are creative with special requests. Don't go here. My wife dropped off our leather jackets for dry cleaning. They shrunk her jacket by burning it. The leather on my jacket showed burned mark. They charged 28 for my wife jacket and 38 for mine. It seem that they don't know how to treat leather. They ruined both of our jacket by pressing the jacket the same way they pressed the regular garment. The heat from the press must have burned the leather. Looking at the leather you can see clearly that the leather is burned. read more
