My family and I have been coming here for years. Excellent friendly and helpful service every single time. They are also very child friendly, with high chairs, plastic utensils, and spill resistant water cups. Food is consistently delicious. I love the oxtail pho here. They serve you a plain bowl of pho and noodles with a generous side dish of oxtail. The oxtail is so soft and tender that it literally falls off the bone. Thanh Binh is much more generous with their oxtail meat portions than any other pho place I've been to in Orange County and Westminster/ Garden Grove. Service is friendly, food is served really fast and they also offer all items to-go. Plenty of parking in the strip mall parking lot. They accept credit cards. It's unfortunate but I was a regular there as well as other people in the reviews who also felt betrayed, they tend to charge you slightly more for some reason. They've really stepped up their customer service game. All the workers are highly efficient and friendly. Lightening quick service, good menu offering and generous portion size. Haven't been here since before the pandemic. Prices went up, food is still great! Love all the sauces! I love the Vietnamese ice milk coffee. Strong and sweet! I had the shaken beef rice plate. I love this place. This is my family's designated vietnamese food restaurant. The servers know our family now and greets us well each time. The pho, spring rolls, and fried calamari are main menu. The only thing i wish they would change is the serving size for the calamari. They only have this huge portion for the appetizer but for our family of 3 [inclduing 5 year old] is just too much and we always end up taking the left over to go. My favorite pho place. Soup is the best I've tasted, meats are tender and I love how their tripe is in little pieces and not huge chunks so it's easier to eat. I've been here a few times, and the food is always good. The spring rolls tasted a bit old this time, and while the vermicelli noodle bowl was good, it was not flavorful enough to be amazing. Would be better if they were more generous with the fresh herbs. Jalapeño slices would have been fantastic. I used a ton of sri racha/hot sauce to liven the bowl up, otherwise it would have been too bland for my taste buds. Also, my diet is almost exclusively Asian, yet every time I order the vermicelli noodle bowl, they feel the need to explain the use of fish sauce. I mean, just because I look white doesn't mean I don't know what fish sauce is or what it is used for. Maybe just explain the food if the customer asks...? All in all, the food here is good. Had the garlic shrimp, which was on point - crispy exterior and succulent shrimp. Hubby and son had 2 different pho and they were really happy. Wonton was calling me. It was filled with grilled meat, seafood, and plump wontons. The broth was tasty and like a warm hug from your grandma. The service was also stellar. Came here for the first time with my oldest daughter after she treated me to a mani/pedi down the street from Thanh Binh. I have been craving shrimp spring rolls for months so we decided to try this place out. For appetizers we ordered the tofu spring rolls and of course the shrimp spring rolls. Very good. It definitely satisfied my spring roll cravings. I had to try the oxtail pho for my main entree and my daughter ordered the tofu vermicelli with fish sauce. I ordered a small pho which was huge! I couldn't finish it all so I will be able to enjoy it for lunch tomorrow. My daughter said this is one of the best tofu vermicelli bowls she has had. The oxtail fell off the bone and was tasty! Wish there were more oxtails ! I actually ate my leftovers the next day and the broth was tastier and richer tasting than the first day. Came here to try the pho, and unfortunately it was not the best. Just decent, to say the least. The broth was very bland and lacked flavor. I did not like that we were rushed to leave the restaurant. We were still eating when the waiter dropped off the check and practically shoved the credit card machine to my bf's face when it came time to tip. We wanted to take our time finishing our meal, but they came and asked us a few times if we were finished eating, even though there were plenty of empty tables in the restaurant.
