What a gem in Eden, NC. Located in uptown Eden with plenty of parking on the street and behind the building. It's a rock and roll vibe everywhere inside. They always have the best music playing and the entire place is decorated with rock and roll posters. The menu is super extensive with everything from flatbreads to burgers. Of course pork sandwiches, salads and the chicken tenders are as big as the palm of your hand. Service is always great there. Kristy at the bar is a pleasure and always attentive. This is a locally owned restaurant, owned by a resident of Eden who also works there in the kitchen every day. They sometimes have ribs on Thursday but call ahead to be sure if that's why you're heading there. They also have desserts from a local bakery. Cold beer, no liquor. Pets are not allowed as they do not have outside seating. Prices are very fair here, both for the food and beer. Check it out if you're in Eden!! read more

Atmosphere is relaxed, bar/restaurant feel. They are playing decent music too! There are some high places tvs on sports networks and so on. The staff was very friendly as soon as we walked in. The food was absolutely disgusting. There were 3 of us who dined in about a week ago and ended up leaving and paying for our mistake of trying something new. It was definitely not worth the money. Maybe this is a highly rated restaurant for locals, but out of towners, absolutely not. Food was very bland and needs improvement. We ordered mozzarella sticks, which were your typical cheap frozen option (2/10). Our entrees were the bacon cheeseburger (3/10), some sort of chicken tender bowl (2/10), and pepperoni flatbread (4/10). The only positive remarks for our meal was the French fries and the actual flatbread for the pizza. The service was phenomenal. Our waitress was great! My go-to is the Egg Burger or Bacon-Bacon Salad but tonight I ventured out for the Whiskey Peach Chicken Tacos and I'm glad I did. The tender chicken had a delicate peach flavor but wasn't overpowered by the corn salsa, light & flavorful itself. Of course, you can imagine the pulled pork is excellent as is the fried shrimp. Visiting from New England, and family brought me here for a Thursday lunch. I'm glad they did. At lunch, you can order from a focused Lunch Menu, or the two-page Dinner Menu. I went with the lunch order of Pulled Pork Basket with hush puppies (they were great!), fried okra (when in Rome ...), red coleslaw (a little spicier than the norm), and a cold IPA. The food was good, although I would have liked a bit more sauce on the side or the table. Was also surprised to have to hunt down menus, salt, pepper, and ketchup, especially given how few people were there on a midday Thursday, but that's not a deal-breaker. Our waitress was personable but not super-attentive, hence my need to track down additional menus and condiments. This is a cozy little place that is nicely decorated. I liked the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and personable. The pulled pork was really good. There was no gristle or loaded with fat. The sauce variety is great. I tried the Hopkins, NC, Cajun BBQ, and the Caribbean Jerk BBQ sauces. I liked all three and they offer 11 different sauces. The hushpuppies and fries were good as well. If you love pulled pork then you must try this spot in uptown Eden. Had their version of a Cuban sandwich. It was stuffed with pulled pork, so much I took some of it home. I should have asked for more mojo sauce as the meat was a bit bland. Other downside was bread quickly turned soggy, so maybe ask for pulled pork on the side. Tater tots were crispy. Today was my 6th time at this restaurant. I've been satisfied with my meal every time I've visited. Their wings are delicious and the Philly cheesesteak is great. I'm not crazy about the atmosphere as it was hot and the table I ate at was a piece of plywood on legs. The service is okay - friendly, but not as attentive as I wish it was; when eating, I don't like my drink to sit empty.
