We let them know that we got food poisoning and we know it was from their restaurant because we ate the same things (but nothing else from earlier in the day) and had the same symptoms. They took down our information and said that the owner would get back to us, but the owner never did. So clearly they do not care if customers pay money to get so violently ill that they have to go to urgent care.

The curry was very flavorful, but not spicy. In hindsight, I should have asked if they had some Jamaican scotch-bonnet hot sauce to spice things up a bit. The cabbage, cooked with ham hocks or something similar was fantastic; it was the best cabbage I've had in a long time. All in all, my meal was excellent. My wife tried the BBQ. The fries were cooked to order, the slaw was creamy, but the BBQ was a disappointment. I tried a bite and it reminded me of the sort of pork BBQ that you can buy in the grocery store. It was a definite meh, at best. My curry chicken was definitely a 4-star meal, while the BBQ rates 2-stars, so everything averages out to 3 stars. That said, I suspect that if you stick with the Jamaican menu, you're likely to get a 4-star or better meal. One last thing: If you pay with a credit card, they hit you up with a 4% upcharge. Pro tip: try just a drop of the house sauce before slathering it all over your meal. It's a bit spicy so make sure it works well for your palette. We split an order of cherry cobbler for dessert and received a very large serving big enough for at least 3 people. It was warm, good, and not super sweet.
