Decent snow cones served by teen agers. The parking situation is terrible and a little dangerous. People rave about the food, but I didn't really find it anything special. It's a little over rated and the service can be terrible. The owner will come by and give you a warm fuzzy. Then she'll disappear and leave you to the mercy of the teen-age staff who take 20 minutes to make 2 snow cones. I don't go there any more. If you have more patience than I do, you might like it. read more

A true hidden gem. That One Place resembles a small shed, fits about 10 cars in its parking, and seats about 20 people max. They do have drive thru, but it seemed like it dragged on forever. Didn't try the crawfish, but it smelled great. The po' boys are amazing, and huge! While you're there, cool off with a snow-cone. Kind of strange to pair cajun with snow cones in one locale, but That One Place makes it work. My one complaint: we waited way too long in line to order. That one place is a family owned business really close to home. I frequent this place during the summer and when crawfish is in season. Owners husband and wife are usually visible Employees are usually friendly and helpful. They have some of the best snowball flavors. The workers allow you to sample flavors before you make your choice. I usually get the strawberry cheese cake or the Polynesian pineapple. Still testing out new flavors to try next time .The crawfish is pretty good but if you say spicy or extra spicy be ready to handle it. During the summer they can get busy. Hands down.... best crawfish you will find in the area! Flavors and spice are incredible! They do crawfish right here and it shows! Crawfish are properly purged, cleaned, and soaked for maximum flavor!!! All the fixings are on point too! The sausage is delicious and mushrooms pack the perfect explosion of juicy, Cajun heat! Once when I came late in the evening with my 4 month old daughter, it got dark and cold real quick. Slowest service in the history of man. As I'm sitting here I'm writing this review. Let's see how long it takes for my food to come out as my snowcones have already melted. This was my first time here so I can't really speak on the food. Snowcones are good. We've been sitting in line waiting for two shrimp Po boys for the past 20 minutes. In that time other cars that ordered food behind me have already come and gone. I had to send my son walking home with half melted snow cones at this point. Thank goodness we live in the neighborhood right behind them. I don't care how good the food is the service is horrible and we won't be back. We ordered the Shrimp dinner, and it was excellent. We are from New Orleans and other restaurants in the Humble area need to come by and try some of their boiled seafood!! First, LOVE the name! Very clever lol while I was there I tried their crawfish and their snowballs. The crawfish was really, really good! We also got really good size crawfish and the flavor was amazing, it had a kick to it but I like it spicy. The snowball was good too. Got 2 flavors and they tasted good not just like plain syrup. Tried this place for first time. Ordered two fried shrimp/fish combos and one shrimp basket. Menu says Cajun fries.....not, just regular fries that came out of freezer bag. Fish were like cutlets and no flavor with heavy breading. Shrimp were either old or over fried because they were tough, and somewhere between a small and medium size. Guess people come here for crawfish and drinks because their fried food definitely won't get any return business. Also, a bit pricey for the portions compared to others in the area. We've past here a hundred times and they is ALWAYS a line... tonight we decided let's give it a shot and man am I glad we did! The lady who took our order was super helpful since it was our first time. We got crawfish, Mac balls and a catfish basket. A few minutes later, she came up and said they were fresh out of mac balls- we could wait or she would refund us our money for them. They have the best snoballs ever! I love the shaved slushy ice! Also, I have tried the Snow Crab legs and Shrimp, both were really good, however, I prefer the Shrimp overall, they had the best flavor and you knew it had been cooked with garlic....reasonably priced also. Definitely recommend, the food is good and the staff has always been courteous and friendly. I recently enjoyed their 1 year anniversary where they had a jumpy tent for the kids and were playing Cajun music to enjoy as you ate your food/snoball.
