We ordered 1, 16 inch pizza and 1, 14 inch pizza and it was $47! That is ridiculous!! The ingredients were quality, I give you that... However your prices are outrageous! I am a huge fan of pizza, but being from the St. Louis area it's difficult to find a place that I like, because for some reason restaurants here like using provel cheese on pizza (which i find appalling). That'sa Nice'A Pizza is one of my favorite pizza places. The prices are reasonable and I have never had to wait long for a pizza. The crust is thin and the sauce has a slight sweet taste. The cheese is always perfect. On occasion, the pizza is a little greasy, but a quick dab with a paper towel fixes that. The staff is always friendly on the phone when I place my order and in person when I pick up my order. I have never dined in at the restaurant but they do have a couple tables for people who do choose to dine in. read more

Unfortunately this place has gone down hill in the last year. This use to be our favorite pizza in St. Louis. We drove well out of our way to pickup. Phone service is awful and scatter brained. Constantly saying, can you hold so I can ask someone if you can do that or get that, etc. Time "delivery" is awful! The past two Friday nights we ordered the order taker informed us 15-20 minutes. After a 30 minute drive from Webster Groves, we sat and waited another 20 minutes for the pizza. Once I can accept. Twice, I see a trend. The last time we were there we asked for a gift certificate. The owner who look peeved that he actually had to do something than smoke outside or frolic with teens in the kitchen begrudgingly got us a gift certificate. No thanks no nothing. Hope our friends get better service and pizza. I would be willingly to overlook the above if the pizza was as good as it use to be. Sadly it is not. I'd give it no stars, but I was raised to be nice. Here's what you can do to improve your business and win back mine. Right now you've lost it. 1. Tone down the sweetness of your sauce and add more herbs. 2. I saw your guy breaking apart my frozen fettuccine from a block of frozen fettuccine. He did this right after taking my order, BUT before he washed his hands. Stop using frozen fettuccine, make your white sauce daily. Like you claim you do with that red sauce. Teach your employees proper sanitation. 3. Don't use pre packaged frozen food. If you're wondering why your business is suffering it's because you charge an arm and a leg for pizza that is much worse than little caesar's. 4. Your meatballs tasted spongey and possibly are turning. Throw them out, make them fresh. If you are making them fresh, find a new recipe. I say all of this with respect. I know it costs a lot of money to run a business, but you'll be out of business if you don't change. read more

I came to St Louis for work, and this was a close place that delivered to my hotel. I like to try local and stay away from mainstream if possible. At first when I ordered it, they put me on hold for 5 mins without music (which yes.... its a long time....) Then when I ordered they quoted me 45 mins - 1 hour. That was accurate - they got here in 1 hour and 10 mins. GOod thing I wasn't hungry. It got here and was chilled from travel. I ordered a small Veggie Deluxe and added sausage. It wasn't anything spectacular but it was good. The crust was thin which i like and it had a lot of items on it... so the pizza wasn't a waste but the Small Pizza put be back about $15. I probably won't order again because it didn't stand out above any other restaurants that I have been too... but maybe the experience is better dining in. read more

Omg this is the BEST pizza anywhere. Definitely worth the drive to Arnold. The crust is absolutely the best, thin and crispy, and chewy at the same time. The toppings are fresh, delicious and plentiful. If you like HOT, get the Blaze, but beware it is super hot. I also love That'sa Nicea Pizza's salads, wings, and sandwiches. This place has great pizza and apps! I got the blaze which was quite spicy (dipping sauce was too much) but dipped in ranch was perfect. Loaded with toppings. Also got toasted ravs and boneless wings which were yummy as well. Will be back! read more

We're new to Arnold, but visited That's a Nice Pizza for the first time this past weekend & loved it. Pride of the House has awesome flavor & loved the toasted canelloni. Ok so here it is, I can honestly say that That'sa Nice'a Pizza probably is one of the best pizza's around. Now I am a little bias being that I worked there for about six months but keep reading and you will agree. First off they make their sauce fresh every day, along with that they make their dough fresh every day. Its a thin crust pizza and it really is amazing. They cook their pizza in a stone cooker in the back, it probably is like 100 years old. They have great sandwiches and pasta's, I really wish that I could convey to you how good this place really is, they are off 55 and Richardson Road across from the Shell station. If you want a great meal go with the anti pasta salad and lumberjack pizza, it can't be beat!!!! read more

I've been getting pizza from here for years. The pizza is good, the service and management in this location is between horrible and whatever is worse than horrible. Tonight we ordered a pizza for pick up. Went and picked it up and when we got home it was someone else's pizza. Mistakes happen and I get that. I called to tell them about the issue. They put me on hold for 3-4 minutes (which is normal for this place) so I kind of expected it. The manager tells me they can make me a new pizza but they will not deliver it unless I pay the $2.50 delivery charge. I asked them why I should pay that when it was their mistake. "That's our policy"..... Drove there to get my money back. While there I told them it was their mistake and for $2.50 they should have just made a good customer happy by making a new pizza and delivering it. I told them I won't ever be back and then I got the "I don't care if you do or not" from the manager. They said they weren't worried because I wouldn't put them out of business. As good as the pizza is, there are other places that I'll spend the $300 to $400 a year I used to spend there. I can handle mistakes, but I will not deal with a business that doesn't understand simple customer service. read more

Not good at all!!! I wanted to try something else besides the usual franchise places. I found it strange that they didn't have prices on their website and you had to call in for them lol. Paid $28 for two 14" One topping pizzas delivered, little pricey but I hoped it would be good. Pizza arrived and first thing I noticed is that they skimped on the cheese, it seemed to be just in the center and not covering the whole pizza. Second was the sauce which was very bad and didn't taste good. Third is the store bought crust, it was like paper. Finally the little cheese there was on the pizza was low quality cheese and tasted bad. I managed a pizza place as a teenager and I know there is alot of profit in pizza, most expensive item on the pizza is the cheese. So at $13 for a 14" pizza, you should be able to put more cheese on it and use better sauce. I guess I'm going back to franchise pizza while ordering in Arnold read more

All they have is super thin crust. Yuk why not something to hold on to. The pizza cheese was good and had flavor but the sauce tasted right out of can of tomato sauce can. Could find a thicker and more favorable type of sauce. But really lost any faith I had in this place when they brought my salad on a plate they bought at Walmart made of styraphome. Then the pizza on the next plate in the bag of plates they bought. No class at all. They could buy plastic nicer salad bowls and was them like they do the rest of the items they have to wash everyday. Its like the whole meal is just a eat and throw away the mess you create. I have been eating this pizza for years and, for me, it is the best pizza in St. Louis. I'm not sure about these negative reviews on here and I can't speak for anything but the pizza but this is the best. They use fresh ingredients. The pizza is always perfectly cooked and I love their sauce and crust. I agree that the prices tend to be higher than some comparable places but definitely cheaper than the square beyond compare. They used to have a location off Tesson Ferry but we drive into Arnold just for this pizza. I wish I could offer more in this review but the bottom line is this: This is my favorite carryout pizza in St. Louis (my wife's too). We love pizza. We eat it at least once a week and love to try different pizzas and compare. This one is always the measuring stick. If you like bacon on your pizza, no one does it better. read more

Customer service was OK for a small pizza place, very little atmosphere to speak of. The pizza itself wasn't anything special. I got the Powerhouse and it was loaded with toppings. Unfortunately the taste didn't follow suit, it was lacking. Very bland, especially considering it had jalapenos on it. After an hour, I spent the next hour in the bathroom. Wow! I am shocked at all the poor ratings! This is my absolute FAVORITE pizza, and I am a pizza connoisseur! I worked at the old location in Concord with the original owner John Stubbings for years as a delivery man in high school! He was such a great guy, and the pizza was fantastic! The owner of the Arnold store carries the torch for our dearly departed John and still uses the Baker's Pride brick ovens. I can only assume he did what John did and still makes his own sauce, rolls his own dough, blends and grinds his own cheese. Every time I go here I get a Powerhouse or a Lumberjack or a John's Special and it tastes the exact same as the good old days! THE BEST! I never have any complaints or a bad pizza! I see other people complaining about the fettuccini or this or that....this is a PIZZA PLACE! This is not Pasta House! Do you really expect excellent fettucinni from That'sa Nice'a Pizza? Imo's sells pasta too, it is crap in my opinion, that's why I only buy pizza from a pizza joint! Duh! If I want pasta, I'll go to The Hill. Anyway, I have never had a bad pizza from this place. I guarantee you a bad pizza from here will still be better than a pie from any of those chain places. That is a promise! The That'sa Nice'a salad is good too! The house dressing is just like John used to make, from scratch (tastes like it anyway), slightly sweet with a bit of tangy. The salsiccia sandwich is good too! I'll pick up 5 or 6 pies on the way to poker night for all the guys, they get devoured in a matter of minutes! There is nothing left but crumbs in a box!
