Little Georgia is a delightful experience that will please adventurous eaters as well as the more reserved. The waiter was patient with my questions and explained what some of the food was as I deliberated over a unique to me menu. I started with the Tolma, which was cabbage stuffed with very tender and flavorful meat. I next ordered Beets with Walnuts and was surprised to see a dish of three squat pieces of beet and walnut mix. It was served cold and was very refreshing. I ended the meal with the Adjaruli which is a cross between a pizza, dip, and bread bowl. It was the best of all those things! Apparently, I needed to be taught how to eat the Adjaruli because I was trying to cut pizza like slices and dip them into the egg. The waiter corrected me (very politely but emphatically) that I should mix the cheese and egg together, then pull off bits of the outside dough to dip into the center. I was close! read more

My son is in love. At a food stall on a recent vacation, he tried a Georgian cheese boat (Adjaruli, if you're in the know) and has declared it his new favorite food. Bread bowl with melted cheese and a raw egg yolk to break an mix in - it was made for the boy. So when we came back home, we Yelped "Georgian restaurants" and found Little Georgia, so we came here for his birthday. There's a front entrance on the main drag, but a big private parking lot out back with an entrance there, so we came in. Two mannequins with traditional Georgian (wedding?) attire are there to greet you, with lots of Georgian art and maps along the hallway as you walk in. It was lunch on a weekday, so not a very busy place. Two people at the bar, a table of teens, and a family getting up just as we were entering. Relatively empty. So I was surprised how slow service was over the whole visit. Our waitress was very kind, but I got the impression it was maybe a one-person show. Unfortunately, we skipped asking for some beverages (beyond water) and dessert because we were worried how long it would take. I would definitely try this place again though, because the food was overall pretty good. My son got his Adjaruli cheese boat and was delighted. The bit I tried was good - salty stretchy cheese with a garlic infusion - can't go wrong! My wife got the Phkhlovana spinach cheese pie and it was huge and delicious. Imagine a spanikopita that's cheesier and more bready than flaky crust. Would get again. My brother opted for lamb chops with fried potatoes and I got the Ojakhuri lamb and potatoes. Both were very tasty with a nice seasoning on the potatoes and lamb with a really good piquant and garlicky sauce. My only complaint is that the lamb was pretty well done, and in my opinion lamb is best medium rare; our waitress didn't even ask if we had a cook preference. The ricey, cheesy "cheese balls" appetizer came with the same sauce. Child #3 was in a picky mood that day, so he only ate half of them. They taste like you'd imagine. Solid, but nothing spectacular. Per a recommendation from our waitress, we tried the Adjapsandali eggplant salad. As good as everything was, this was a memorable part of my meal, and I have a love-hate relationship with eggplant. It reminded me a lot of a Catalan Escalivada - roasted eggplant, onions, and peppers served cold but this had a nice salty-sour dressing with it. Would totally get again. It's a nice place with a cuisine that's hard to find in these parts. Reisterstown 2026 with prices to match. The food was overall solid. During our recent dining experience here we were of service by a bland and disrespectful male server. We were treated as if we were unwelcome there. He didn't answer our questions, and reeked of cigar smoke. I don't mean to be rude at all but it was to the point which it was hard to ignore. To put it plainly the food was 5 stars, and had real potential, but the service ruined the night. If you don't understand Georgian the menus will be hard to read, and the servers will NEVER help you figure it out. There was also no ice and barely any drink options. I know the owners will come for me for writing this but I am really just warning other people who thought of dining here. read more

We ordered take out from Little Georgia for the first time on Saturday. We've been to Georgia, and love Georgian food, so we were super excited to try it out! We ordered the khinkali, the eggplant with walnuts, and sacivi. Our favorite by far, was the khinkali. The flavor was awesome, there was plenty of broth, and they were huge (and just like we had in Georgia). The eggplant with walnuts was good as well (though honestly there's nothing like the eggplants (omg or tomatoes) in Georgia!) The savici was also really good, however the portion size was tiny. It was barely a thigh in an entire container and one of the small pieces was just fatty skin, while another piece was cartilage. Overall, we'll head back for the khinkali! We also want to go in person next time because we heard there was a great wine menu and Georgian wines are delicious! read more

Little Georgia is a haven if you're looking for authentic Georgian cuisine. The restaurant is massive, and is decorated with traditional Georgian garments and beautiful scenery paintings. They offer Georgian beer and sodas, and the food is incredible. I highly recommend both the adjarouli and khinkali. My own complaint would be that the servers aren't that personable. They almost act annoyed that you are there. We ordered drinks and when they were brought to the table I asked for some water and was brought an entire pitcher of water, but no glasses. So I guess we were expected to chug our drinks and then refill the glasses with water. read more

We visited this place 3/3/2026. We order Lamb chops (the most expensive dish on the menu), Khinkali and Adjaruli. Khinkali and Adjaruli were not the best one but OK. The Lamb chops were the worse we ever have. Dry, overcooked and black as coal. 2 of 3 were normal size , the third was the quoter size. We call waiter and told him that we are disappointed. He completely ignore us and return back with bill. No apology, no any action. We will never be back and do not recommend this place to all of our friend. First time coming and really enjoyed it! We got the Adjaruli (bread filled with cheese and topped with an egg yolk you mix in) , khinkali (dumplings. More than a restaurant. An experience. Nice people (ask for the owner David) who makes sure it is an experience I loved the blinchnik appetizer as a meal (5 fried meat egg-roll like appetizers). The eggplant with chopped liver on top was cold and creative and flavorful. Both the owner and the waitress were concerned that I ordered a lunch without bread and had to talk about how to make it a full lunch. Note. This was my first time dining here. My brother and I went for dinner. The parking lot is located behind the restaurant and that's also where the entrance is. There is a lot of parking. Walking in, you're greeted by 2 mannequins dressed in Georgian apparel. You walk down the hall to the main restaurant, there's a lot of seating, as well as a bar area. Upon walking in, we didn't see anyone at all but heard some cooking going on in the kitchen. There was a couple who walked in a few moments before us and they were also waiting. It was only the 4 of us there. After several minutes of no one appearing, the guy from the other couple went and knocked on the glass window to the kitchen door. Finally someone came out and greeted all of us. The lady sat us and gave us menus. They have a button on the table you can push when you're ready or need something. We ordered the chicken shish kebabs and chakapuli (a lamb dish simmered in wine and seasonings with tarragon). Upon learning that the dishes didn't come with any sides (after we ordered), we also ordered some bread. The lamb dish came out first and almost 10 minutes later, the shish kebabs arrived. It would have been nice to have all our food come out at once. I also tried the Georgian lemonade in the pear flavor, which I liked. The initial lady gave us our menu and then a guy brought our food out. They didn't seem very friendly and didn't talk much to us but maybe that's the culture or a language barrier, I'm not sure. The food was seasoned very well and because everything didn't come out together, it leads me up believe most of the food is made to order, which I don't mind waiting for because everything was very hot and flavorful. I have to admit that the lamb dish didn't look appealing at first and looked more like a soup but it was great! I would dine here again. And towards the end of our meal, we noticed more diners coming in, which was also a good sign. The menus could use some updating and maybe other offerings, like more side dishes because I noticed a lot of meals came with potatoes and others didn't have any side dish at all so it would be nice to have some other options or include something like bread at least. read more

We stopped into this place yesterday for a bite to eat. We entered through the rear door where there's a set of mannequins dressed in what looks like wedding attire. I stopped into the restrooms after traveling from DC to Baltimore to try a new place. The restrooms were clean. There's not a soul in this restaurant. Not 1 person dining as we walk through to find the counter. We turned the corner to the counter, found the counter, and there was no one at the counter. Someone left their phone on the counter but everyone was in the kitchen or other places perhaps. My husband called out in the direction of the kitchen, "Hello?! Heeelllooo!!!" I'm looking at the menu while he yells with no response. We stood there for another 2 or 3 minutes and no one came out to greet us so I put the menu down and we left without taking photos or anything. Don't waste your time going here. They obviously don't care about their restaurant enough to have someone sit at the counter where they left their phone. We left having not seen anyone or ordered a thing. Five stars for the food! I love Georgian food so much, and the food here did not disappoint. The kinkhali were the best I've had, fresh and huge! The adjaruli was also fantastic and totally hit the spot. Very filling and we couldn't finish everything we ordered. We loved the ambiance of the place, it felt very homey. My only criticism is we wished the service was a little more prompt. Not a long wait for the food, but it was a long wait to get a box and our check. I'm not taking any stars off my review because honestly some people do like to hang out for a while and not be bothered, so maybe that's what our server was thinking. It was also one guy serving 5-6 tables and one of the tables was like 20 people so we were patient. If you plan to come here, maybe budget more time than you think you need. Had my first experience with this restaurant about a week ago. Ordered 4 items from the menu even though it was only two of us. But I did t realize how big the portions were !!! Soup "Kharcho" was split between us and it was plenty! The same with other dishes - "Khinkali" , "Lobiani" and "Adjarouli". Giant portions of everything!!! Since there was only us at the time , food came out of the kitchen in 10 min already! Great ambiance! And I liked that the dining room was separated from the bar area. Amazing. This was an exceptional experience. The food was so very good. We had the spinach and walnut, the cheese khinkali and the adjaruli and I cannot pick a favorite. Everything tied for delicious. Definitely unique and different. I'm really glad I split the dishes with my friend because the food is very filling. We had so much we even ended up with quite a bit of leftovers. Yay! We also really loved the bottle of wine we got. The service was on point and very friendly. First time visiting. Plenty of parking in the back. Nice decor inside. We appreciated the recommendations from the server. We started with some Natakhtari (Georgian lemonade). I liked the pear flavor. The adjapsandali salad was delicious and perfect on a cool evening. The eggplant with walnuts was a cold dish. I loved the way the pomegranate seed popped in my mouth. The adjaruli was amazing. Great combo of cheese, egg, and bread. We also had the lamb Lula kebab which came with a nice sauce. The khinkali arrived last and were much bigger than we anticipated. First of all, it was something different from all the other local restaurants. But different isn't enough unless the food is also delicious and well presented. No worries here. We tried several things we hadn't heard of and they were all very good. The bread was especially great - flavorful and pillowy and lots of it. This is hands down my favorite restaurant. My mother was born and raised in Georgia so being able to take her and to eat AUTHENTIC Georgian food is always amazing. Khinkali is delicious, so is the Adjaruli khachapuri. Kompot is delicious as well. The owners are so welcoming whenever we come and the service is wonderful too. Since Georgia does not get a lot of recognition it is awesome to be able to not only eat the best food, but also have Georgian culture along the walls just makes this the perfect place. We decided to try Little Georgia Friday evening for something different. Never had Georgian food before and had heard that there was a bit of a language barrier..... we looked forward to both. I called to get a reservation and was greeted with a personal "hello" which was nice but made me second guess if I mis-typed the number as there was no mention of the restaurant in the greeting which was odd but still OK Honestly the dining room was barely occupied upon our dinner rush timeframe arrival. The hostess/server pointed to the dining area and we followed her finger to a table of our choice. That was the beginning of a fair amount of pointing for the rest old our evening. In time she came back and said "drink" with a smile. We said yes and smiled back revealing our choices. The smiling continued on both sides without forward motion until we ultimately pointed to our drink choices listed on the menu which was effective. Same pointing ritual for the food choices but it was less awkward since we were getting hip to the process. The food came out and our server was then a male with the same smile, all four dishes were very very good even though we didn't quite know what we were ordering, only that it was at the end of our finger on the menu. The servers male or female certainly didn't pester us about the service or food quality. In fact they seemed to disappear for long periods of time. The secret to their service is a small alert button on the table which gains their attention immediately. We didn't know this and only found the button near the end of our experience. I can tell you for sure , if you push that button, someone will appear like a genie from a bottle. Food was very good and we will definitely return especially now that we know they lay of the land a little better. I'll probably point at something different next time just to try something new. Although culturally a little different, this is a nice place with nice people and the food is great. read more

You must try this place. The food is consistently incredible -- a gourmand's delight. The atmosphere is beautiful, the staff are very friendly, and the experience is delightful. My friends and I noticed that the location had opened and we stopped in to try it one night. We had never had Georgian food, didn't know how to order, and didn't know what we were in for. We did a quick search on popular food in Georgia and ordered all those things. Our dishes came out in wave-after-wave of tantalizing flavors. I didn't know what to expect going in and I wasn't sure if I would like it, but by the time the meal was done I absolutely loved it. I thought about the khachapuri (cheese bread) literally every day after I ate there... so did all my friends. We talked about going back in our group chat every few days. We obsessed. Then, yesterday, I took my parents and family to Little Georgia for my moms birthday and replicated the experience at a larger scale. Everything was just as I thought it would be. The food. The atmosphere. The people. The experience. The Reisterstown / Glyndon area has so many incredible restaurants and food stops. This is one of the many gems. You absolutely MUST try it. Bring a group. The inside of the restaurant does have a very nice ambiance. But you can't give a god dam restaurant 5 god dam stars for "an ample clean parking lot" what the hell is wrong with you people. The food sucked. We ordered several dishes. The flavor profile was: salt, oil,bland cheese, salt, oil, and more salt oil. The kharcho was listed as a main course. It was a god dam little bowl of soup with a ton of oil in it and two pieces of beef cubes. These 5 star reviews are batshit crazy. read more
