However the teriyaki chicken was a bit burnt, dry and kinda salty. What made it okay was the rice and veggies that came with it, so it balanced the flavor. I really liked the California roll. My bf had the shrimp teriyaki and burger. He liked both, but was upset when his burger came with onions and lettuce since he specifically repeated 3 times not to put any of those. Also, not to mention that we called and placed the order. Gave us 30 minutes, but when we arrived for pick up, our order wasn't even done yet so we had to wait 15 more minutes. Overall, it's alright. Walked in and there was a gentleman sitting at the bar and no one else around , sign at the entrance said please wait to be seated. We waited at least 5 minutes and no one came to greet or seat us. We sat ourselves and waited at least another 5 minutes, still nobody insight, I then got up and walked into the kitchen and asked a young lady if they were open. she followed me back to our table then walked behind the bar and found our server named Marisela. Oh let me tell you about her, She had the personality of my big toe. She acted like she was doing us a favor to take our drink order and appetizer. We got our drinks I had Tea and my Lady had a Diet Coke, The flavor of the coke was bad, Very Bad! we waited for our server to come back and she just hung out at the bar talking to another customer that had just came in. My girlfriend had to walk up to the bar and ask to have her drink replaced, Marisela then brought her a sprite which was also bad, we finally just got a water but at the same time we noticed other customers that had came in were sending their sodas back as well. We waited about 20 minutes for out appetizer and waited over 30 minutes for our entree . Food was mediocre at best, Service was horrible. Good ole Marisela brought us our ticket as well as to go containers. Our bill was $34.00 and some change , put $40.00 on the table and she was like a flash grabbing the money, she did not ask if we wanted change or even made an effort to come back to our table. I've been to the 5th quarter a handful of times now since they've been open and every time had a good experience! Sushi was delicious and our service was great! We got the Hurricane roll (my new fav) and 5th Quarter roll, both were great! We also had miso soup and it was very tasty. I had their brownie with ice cream for dessert and it was sooo yummy! Craving it right now.. I've been in twice for a Dj on Saturday night and both times had a blast!! One night was for Halloween and despite it being super packed we still didn't wait too long for drinks and had a great time dancing. The 5th quarter is awesome and so nice inside. This was my boyfriend and my first time here. We ordered the Garlic Edamame and it was so flavorful. I typically do not care much for Edamame but this was delicious. I ordered the Fire Roll and my boyfriend ordered the 5th quarter roll. Both were so delicious as well. We were extremely pleased. We also ordered the kamikaze wings (I think that's the name) OMG.... SO SPICY AND TASTY!!! Best wing flavor I have EVER had and worth the lip burn. Overall, food was exceptional. Now the atmosphere?!? Great! Best sports bar in town by far. This has been my favorite late lunch out with my family. We ordered a few things off the menu, 3 different types of sushi rolls, wings classic red hot, calamari, 5th quarter fries and Mac and cheese for the baby. As crazy as the combination sounds to order together, they were each brought to us perfectly, meaning cooked good in their own way. My first visit to the 5th Quarter was last night and I had a great experience. When we arrived there were only a few people at the bar. We were getting food so I believe we were the only table occupied in the dining area. There seems to be an abundance of seating though. We were waiting on a friend to arrive before we ordered and our server was very patient with us. Once she arrived we ordered the 5th Quarter fries and some wings. Everything arrived within a reasonable amount of time and looked great. Needless to say it tasted just as good as it looked. Our server was very attentive during the entire visit, which we really appreciated. We were the only being dining in on that side so it was very quiet. There were more people coming in on the bar side of the restaurant though as we were leaving. We'll definitely be back to eat and hopefully check out the Illusions drag shows that are also hosted here. read more

First time coming here, had been meaning to check this place out for awhile. We walked in not knowing where to go and saw a bar to the left. Walked past the bar and a waitress said it was open seating. The place is really interesting, when you walk it it looks like a sports bar and then all of a sudden you see a sushi bar. Our waitress greets us pretty quickly and takes our drink orders while we are looking over the menus. We tell the waitress this is our first time here and needed time to look at the menu. The menu pretty much matches the restaurant, there's sushi, burgers, pizza and nachos. So basically the menu is all over the place. My partner and I order the beef nachos and the grilled chicken club sandwich. For drinks we got a beer and a mixed drink. The wait for our food and drinks were frustratingly long, almost to the point that we wanted to leave. However once we got our food, it was hot, fresh and very tasty. Even the drinks were good. I am always greeted kindly by the bartenders, the wait staff is also very friendly and hustle to provide the customers what they need or make changes quickly. I usually go to have some beers with friends and a game of pool. The finger foods are always hitting the spot and the beer selection is tremendous. The sushi has always been on point as well. I love their Thai options, but there have been 2 occasions were the kitchen did not have basil to go along with the dish and that is unfortunate. Came here one Saturday night for dinner with my wife. I thought the diversity would be good. My wife likes margaritas and I like beer. I like sushi she likes steak and fries. This bar had a broken blender so no margarita and the sushi was not good. It looked like it might had been a fun place to be at one time. Now it's looks like a worn down bar trying to serve food. Seats were torn and tables sticky. Saw two out of order signs while walking out. Might as well just close shop if it's not making money to keep up repairs and serve descent food. Get there tired after sitting though the graduation, and they inform us they were unable to accommodate since I didn't pay the deposit!!! Amazing sushi, great menu with lots of options! Beautiful layout and atmosphere. Love the sports bar feel on one side and more restaurant feel on the other but still able to watch sports wherever you sit and love to play pool ! Only thing we were slightly disappointed in was our server took a while to even come introduce herself and when she did we realized she was the one walking all around us the whole time we were waiting with no acknowledgement... Impressed with the aesthetic and quality of food for this place! The place doesn't fit in with Visalia because of the modern upscale feel. Menu is not expensive though! The food here is all over the place with American, Japanese, Vietnamese, and whatever else they put on the menu. Something for everyone. Service has been great and they are usually not too busy so the servers/bartenders will actually have a conversation with you.. something so rare in food industry today! I had only heard about it because of the huge fight that broke out there, but I was pleasantly surprised when I visited on a Saturday evening. This is a very large, nice bar with good service and food. A nice option for local patrons. We had the 8 Ball Roll, and the 5th Quarter Fries, both of which were great. The atmosphere of the pool hall was very fun, and the juke box provided an eclectic mix of music to match the crowd. The speed of service could improve a bit, but was certainly adequate. I hope this remains a fun place to hang out, and doesn't fall victim to being taken over by a bad crowd. read more
