I have been here many times during my stays. The staff is always pleasant and the food has been good. I wish there was a happy hour. Its always clean and well kept. And it would be nice if staff would notice the daily specials which I didnt know they have each day. Hours are unclear as far as closing. In the elevators they show one time and staff said differently. So that definitely needs to be addressed. But I do recommend it. read more

Very limited menu but we tried Caesar with chicken, with salmon and the steak. Steak was definitely the highlight, salmon was cooked well, Caesar's were just lettuce and light dressing, not much cheese, disappointing. Sweet potato fries were soggy but flavorful. Mojito was undrinkable and way expensive for the type of place. We opted to skip dessert. Service was slow and poor. Would skip mahogany's if you have other options. read more

Stopped to get drinks and something to eat during our stay at the hotel. Got some beers, tacos and shrimp appetizer. The chicken tacos were decent but the shrimp appetizer was a little bland. There was barely any spice, salt or flavor to the dish. Wish we had ordered something different. The bartenders were super friendly and nice and the service was quick. Kiana was very rude when walking in and at 9:10 P.M. she stated that it was last call to our group that it was last call and 10 minutes later she said they will be closing in 5 minutes. So our group of 5 people gave her the respect after the rudeness she showed and started to leave, just to see her serve 3 guys still sitting at the bar...She just laughed with them and we could have had another round.. Nice hotel bar with excellent service. Bartenders are attentive and friendly, especially Zarina and Cory. I enjoyed a CA Riesling. Bar is quiet, except when sporting events are televised and patrons yell at the TV. Bar is several miles out of Visalia urban area but is just off the main highway. read more

It's one of the nicer wyndhams I have seen and although the restaurant is older and in need of good scrub down the bartender/server was really nice. I had the stuffed jalapeños and the stuffed avocados. Both were great! There's nothing really around there so I will be back next time I'm in the area. read more

Sat at the far end of the bar near the only tv not playing some professional sport channel. It had an R&B music channel playing. Ordered a sauv blanc, the grilled salmon, veggies, and sweet potato fries which came with two dipping sauces. Food was great. My server (older woman) was amazing. Unfortunately, younger woman changed the music TWICE to country. Had she listened, I would have ordered another drink and dessert. She screwed her co-worker out of tip money. This bar was very legit, and food was very good as well. Erica the bar tender made a hell of an old fashioned wouldn't mind visiting the hotel just for the drinks. She made us feel welcomed even tho we looked like a couple of thugs from LA haha. It felt very fancy and comfortable at the same time if that makes sense. As a restaurant owner like myself if I could take Kao and place him as a manager for my bar, I feel like my customers would never go unsatisfied. We stayed at the Wyndham on Airport Road in Visalia. I don't recall eating in a restaurant with worse food than this. Ordered the macaroni with goat cheese and chicken with a basil cream---What came out of the kitchen was a stiff macaroni with cheese that had turned to oil, with pale, sliced pieces of chicken breast thrown on top of it. The chicken was unseasoned, and tasted like it had been cooked, frozen, and re-warmed. There was no color to the dish, and certainly no flavor of any herbs. Ordered chicken wings, too, but decided not to eat those as they were chewy and tasted old and tainted. The cosmo was tepid and tasted watered down. We ran for our lives and elsewhere for dessert. Good food. Great service. Charged me for ice. Jack was itemized on the receipt for $7. Right under it was a charge for "on the rocks" for $2.50. Never ordering a Jack on the rocks from this place again. Prime rib French dip sandwich was very good. A little overpriced at over $13 but that's to be expected at a hotel bar. I've worked in the restaurant business, and I hardly ever write bad reviews, but never before have I been blatantly ignored like I was here. I walked into the bar, alone, while waiting for my husband. I sat at a table and waitedly patiently for a few minutes, was not greeted or anything, which even at that point was fine, because I understand that they were busy. A short time later, a couple walked in and sat a few tables away. Less than a minute after they sat down, a server came over to take their drink order. My boyfriend and I checked on to our room after spending the day hiking at Sequoia National Park. We were hot and hungry. We went to Mahogany's for a drink and dinner. The drinks were fine and Tera was friendly. When we ordered dinner however, she didn't write down our orders. That probably isn't a biggie for her normally, but my boyfriend had a few questions about the menu and then wanted his meal done a particular way. She nodded and repeated the order. When our dinners came, my boyfriend's was almost completely wrong. When we expressed our disappointment, she got a little huffy. My boyfriend said he didn't want his dinner fixed or done over, he just wanted the dinner taken off the bill. She left and had someone else finish serving us. Unprofessional. No apology. My husband and I went here for Happy Hour and we were pleasantly surprised by the sizes of their happy hour meals, and tastiness! We had beef nachos $5, which were so scrumptious with avocado and salsa, and were very filling! We almost couldn't eat the sliders because we got full from the nachos! The sliders came with bacon and cheese, and amazing steak fries on the side $5. We also enjoyed bud lights for $1.50 each and had a blast playing shuffle board. For the sports fans, they have lots of tv's with different games on. The service was great too! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We are definitely planning on coming here again. We had a great experience here. The drinks were made well and with fair portions, the food was really good and the staff friendly. Fresh salad bar, fruit and veggies. Carrot soup is amazing!!! Portobello mushroom sandwich good . Fries included with different textures. My husband ordered a pizza and it was wonderful.
