PLEASE DON'T GO HERE! I would highly discourage anyone from going to this dentist. I went because a friend who has had a good experience with her referred me. The first visit was fine and they located 10 cavities, which they showed me on the x-rays and photographs (my fault for not visiting a dentist for 3 years!). They showed me a quote for about $700 and had me sign that they'd explained it to me. 10 cavity fillings for $700 sounded great! I came back in the next week for the fillings, which Dr. Williams wanted to get done all at once. About 45 minutes into the fillings, she said "I see a couple more in here--want me to get those too?" I just said (completely numb and out of it) "uh huh." When I left, 2 hours later to pay, the charge was $1250. I was not given a receipt or explanation for the increase. I tried to ask but no one could understand me and they said "Have a great day." I was in no condition to drive, and even though I live very close, I managed to wreck my car within minutes of leaving. I called the next morning to tell them this and they said "Thanks for letting us know." I asked for a receipt and they said they'd send me one. I didn't get it. I called again to ask for it. I didn't receive it. I finally emailed someone else at the office and they sent it to me, though it was very unclear how the 2 additional cavities, which I was never shown on the x-rays or photos increased the cost from $700 to $1250. I had to go back 3 times for an "adjustment" because my bite was off so badly that I was suffering from severe headaches. On the third adjustment, Dr. Williams was very short with me and said I needed to be more patient, that this would correct itself. Needless to say, i went to another dentist 2 days later who fixed the problem immediately and I've been out of pain since. As for the billing, I discovered that in the first quote for $700, $300 of that was for a "5 year warranty" on the fillings. I feel like this was less of a dentist office and more of a seedy used car lot. I had them refund me for the warranty as that was NOT explained to me in the quote I signed originally. The lesson I have learned and hope to pass on to anyone who goes here (which hopefully you won't) or anywhere else is to get everything in writing, get it explained thoroughly--don't assume they actually have your best interest in mind simply because they seem sweet and concerned, have them make copies of EVERYTHING, and never pay up front, always ask to be billed later. One never know what he si being charged until one leaves. they just do what they want to do and charge you. They do not back their services--want to sell insurance. I tried to get through to them that I wanted to know up front of any services I would be charged for, but after numerous visits, they just could not get the message. Even when i tried to have my records sent to another dentist, they would not send them for months and then only by paper. I am in the process of trying to get them to forward my xrays digitally so I will not have to pay another $200 for exam and xrays at the new dentist. I would recommend one going to another dental office. I must say that Brooke does a fine job as dental hygienist. read more

I have been going to The Addison Dentist for about a year now. I have been thrilled with their whole team. The environment is friendly and professional. I felt educated and was able to trust. This branch changes dentists constantly. I had five in six years. They also change office staff even more frequently, and have a lot of turnover in hygienists as well. They do not announce changes, so there is no attempt at smooth transition either. While all staff seem knowledgeable and professional, if you have long-term dental issues and want a long-term relationship with a dentist, this is not the branch for you. read more

They are consistently friendly and attentive to my dental needs. My dental treatment was painless and beautiful. Dr. Williams is an artist. LOVE THE ADDISON DENTIST!!!!! The first time I made an appointment with them it was an emergency situation. I needed immediate attention!!! I was in unbelievable pain. Gratefully they were able to see me that day. The staff was very attentive to my every need. They made sure that I was comfortable before I left and that I had emergency numbers if needed. I also received a follow-up call the next day to make sure I was still doing well. That was a BIG PLUS for me. Although they are extremely professional, I appreciate the personable side just as much. This dentist is the biggest rip off in Dallas. I went to the dentist because I wanted to get my teeth whitened. I hadn't been to the dentist in a while so I knew I would most likely need some additional work. At the end of my 3 hour visit they tell me I need $8,000 worth of work, this includes multiple cavities, deep gum cleaning, special bacteria scanning, and the list goes on. I left feeling extra suspicious so I went to get a second opinion the next day. The next doctor tells me I only need about $2,000 worth of work and my gums look healthy. About one week later the Addison Dentist called me telling how imperative it is to get all this work done ASAP! I politely let them know I received a second opinion and they found a lot less issues. They then tell me I should get a third opinion, so I did and they tell me I only need $1500 dollars worth or work. Then they continued to call me and beg for my business for another month, even after I said no thank you. read more

Not impressed. I wish I had taken the time to read the other reviews on here because they are spot on. I live in Addison and work right off of Midway so the location was great for me and they were on my insurance plan. The place and front desk staff were very nice. I was taken back around 8:15 for my 8:00 appointment. Alot of medical offices tend to run behind, but if you open at 8 and im your first patient you should be ready for me at 8. The x-ray tech was slow moving and did not explain anything. The rings she had in my mouth for the x-rays were activating my gag reflex. After 5 or 6 failed attempts, she finally brings someone in with some numbing spray and adds a cover so the part in my mouth wasnt stabbing the roof of my mouth. Why did it take her so long to do this? The xray tech also procedes to try and sell me there oral cancer screening. Whats this i ask. Oh the Dr will look around your mouth and tell you if you have any suspicious growths and this is not covered by your insurance and will be 40 dollars. "you dont have to do it" WTF!!!!! So if the"dr" see a growth and I dont pay th $40 will she just ignore it????? Isnt she going to be looking in my mouth anyway? The hygenist acutally did a really good job. Then the dentist came in. She spent roughly 2 min with me and then proceded to tell me the business team would finsih my appointment. Never asked if I understood everything, which I did not. The hygenist actually answered more questions and was more helpful than the dentist. The business team then gives me a 1,600 plan that no one explained to me!!! I don't know how this place is in business or how she still has her license. See is a scam artist. By far the WORST dentist I've ever been to and I would never recommend it to anyone. My fiancé and I both moved to Addison and went in to have a regular teeth cleaning. After 2 hours, and every possible x-ray they could do (aka bill our insurance company for)... they said they wouldn't even do our cleanings. Her words directly... "you can't wax a dirty car". Instead, we got stuck with a recommendation for over $9,000 worth of unnecessary work (gingivitis plan, re-doing cavities, new cavities that aren't there) that she said was so serious we had to start the next day. We went to another dentist right away to get a second opinion and they said that her plan was complete bogus. No problems whatsoever. Now we are getting past due bills for services that they guaranteed were covered by insurance. There is no way Addison Dentist is getting a dime from us (or my insurance company for that fact) for this scam. read more
