This dental office has very convenient hours. They stay open till 730pm and open on Saturdays. I was taken back right at my appointment time. Dr. Petros did a great job explaining the steps throughout the procedure. I got my first root canal! I didn't feel a thing during the whole procedure!! There was also minimal pain after. I can not say enough about this practice and Dr. Talbot himself. I was having issues with a reoccurring infected tooth and just continued to put off seeing someone, as I knew this was going to result in a Root Canal and never having one, I feared the unknown. I called the office and they worked me in that same evening. There was almost no wait time. Once I arrived, x-rays were taken and treatment was quickly started. Dr. Talbot explained the situation and the Root Canal procedure. He has a wonderful chair side manner and is the quickest and most thorough dentist I have ever been to. Quick may sound like a negative to some but for me it is a total and complete positive as the dentist is not my favorite place. I have since been there a few more times and they never disappoint. They run a very patient-centered practice here and my experiences here have all been a breeze! The hours include early evening hours as well as Saturday hours. I never had to wait a long time for my appointment. Most importantly, Dr. Bullock is so friendly and I felt he really cares about patient's concerns and comfort (hence the name). Dr. Bullock and his practice is such a scam! I went in to his clinic with severe tooth pain. He recommended a bridge for my tooth. I went back in 6 months later with more pain for that same tooth. He told me to go see an endodontist (someone who does root canals). I went to see an endodontist just for them to end up pulling out that tooth all together. He knew the entire time the tooth was going to have to be pulled out but he still recommended a procedure for me! His front desk staff was all very rude too from the very beginning. I went to this place about 6 months ago for the first time. The dentist explained to me that he had to do an extraction and that would be ok. I gained his trust and was at ease until he started working on extracting my tooth. He was so rough and impatient that he lost control and cut my tongue. I was bleeding so bad. I started crying because I was in great pain. They still made me pay. I was in so much frustrations and in tears that I didn't even fight them about it. I just wanted to get out of there. I have been a customer of Comfort Dental for about a month now and I must say, i have been very impressed with the service I have received. After my initial office visit, I received a hand written thank you note for choosing their office. I have had a few major procedures and each time have received a follow-up phone call the next day to check on how I was feeling. Dr Curtis has been very accomodating with payment plans that I can afford after my dental insurance ran up to its maximum annual cap and I have always been informed up-front of the cost of the procedures. I only visited this office once, but honestly, I wouldn't quite recommend it. The dentist I saw was wonderful - very personable and eager to answer my questions - but the customer service I've received since then has been less than impressive. In addition to my regular cleaning (which went fine), I needed a teeth whitening set to prepare for my upcoming wedding. They took an impression on the same day I got my cleaning, and told me to come back at a certain time a few days later to pick them up. When I did so, the trays were not yet ready, which was fine - I would have just appreciated a phone call as a head's up. Also, when I went in for the cleaning, they told me they'd follow-up with me shortly afterward regarding a filling that I needed - but they have not done so. Additionally, I found out that I paid $100 for the whitening trays and two syringes of bleach (35% concentration) when another dentist only charged me $40 for four syringes of [stronger] bleach (38% concentration). Granted, the latter price did not include the trays, but I still feel as though I may have been ripped off a bit. Bottom line: the clinical service was fine, but their customer service could use some work. read more

Dr. Talbot and his staff are amazing ! Let me start by saying I have been seeing a large dentist practice that is on the radio for over 5 years . I made my yearly appt for that dentist and they had me waiting an hour on the lobby and unfortunately I couldn't wait any longer , but that experience led me to search for another dentist. I found Comfort on yelp and made a Saturday appt so I wouldn't have to rush.. anyways I got checked in for my appt , got taken into a conference room early .. actually spoke with my dentist in the little conference room before he did anything. Got seated into a dental chair with the dentist doing an exam, then he cleaned my teeth himself ! The assistant finished the polishing and then I was on my way in about 35 minutes. This is the first dentist in a long time that actually spoke with me in regard to my treatment plans or dental care.. I've always dealt with a hygienist or treatment coordinator . I am so impressed with the personalized service and will make comfort dental my forever dentist! read more

Amazing experience!!! I came here with an extremely painful absesed molar tooth, everyone was incredibly polite and interested in making me and my boyfriend as comfortable as possible. I felt very confident that I was in the best possible hands. I was prescribed antibiotics and pain medication the first week. Upon my return today I had a root canal. The doctor and his assistant kept me well informed about each step of this process and were vigilant at keeping my pain at bay. The doctor saved my tooth even when i was sure id need an inplant. This is my third root canal and I can confidently say I've found a dentist that I'll use for my family for the rest of my life. I felt it only fair that I give praise to this dentist office after my visit today. The dentist was a young man in his late 20's I cant remember his name as I didn't catch it in the office. I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude to him. He is a very good dentist and a genuine and decent person. I would also like to thank the dental hygienist the aided him as well. She is a very nice young lady. I have to pay for my dental costs out of pocket and I have never gone to a medical type facility before without feeling cheated. I felt totally opposite here. Not only was the dental work they did priced fair and affordable, they take pride in their work and actually do a decent job. I just wanted to this office to know it meant a lot to me that they treated me decent and like a person. I went to Comfort Dental in Addison off of Beltline and Marsh today for the first time because they were on the list of approved providers for my new dental discount plan and happened to be open when I could come in. It has been a long time since I have gone to a dentist because the last one I had was not very gentle and never got the work done I needed- just found new things to do first (instead) with his assistant so I would have to keep going, hoping to someday actually see the dentist. SO, I was expecting a lot of discomfort and was suspicious coming in but figured I would at least give it a chance. They were very friendly to begin with and I got in quickly (wouldn't have minded waiting though). When I got in, the dentist saw me himself and listened to everything I was having problems with. He was not judgmental of the things I had neglected and was very easy to talk to. He was compassionate, but also had a sense of humor so it was an easy place to be. Since I had the last scheduled appt of the day, I was assuming I would be able to get my exam and x-rays but would have to come back to get the work done that was needed (I had one tooth that felt really bad). After the x rays, he wanted to know if I wanted to get the work done today yet, or if I wanted to wait on it (knowing full well that I would be keeping them past the close of business for the day). I was thankful that they were willing to get the immediate stuff done today (I offered to wait so they could close at normal time), but they happily did the work and took the time to do a good job and get it done right (and with less pain than I have ever experienced at a dentist before!!!!) Beyond all this, they saved me quite a bit of money, as I thought they were going to need to do something serious to the tooth in question, as well as some other major stuff in the near future. The dentist said it wasn't as bad as I thought and that a very easy, inexpensive thing would do the job instead. I am certain it caused them (Dr. Warchol and his assistant Elizabeth) more work to do it that way, but it not only saved me the expense of a crown (they drilled out lot of the tooth and filled it like a filling instead), but also the lifetime of maintenance involved in having a crown!!!! They also didn't think I needed everything I thought I did on another tooth. I am very thankful that I found these people, I was really impressed with everything that happened today and thankful for the way they took care of me and plan on telling everyone I know about this amazing place. It isn't a fancy, shiny place with lots of extra amenities, but the service and care I got was so far above anything I was expecting (and they appeared to be very reasonably priced- there was a sign on the door that the x-rays and exam were $19 if you are uninsured) that I have really never gotten better care anywhere in my life.
